The web site is easy to use, however the communication from the store afterwards is poor with no feedback on delivery times

Delivery was delivered a day earlier but 1 item was missing ordered with Bury branch but Rochdale branch delivered so rang the branch to report the missing item they said the item is not on their invoice so rang Bury branch they tried to blag me by saying it was for collection after some comfrotation they said they'll get back to me next day I get a refund for the item what a joke as I paid for delivery

When ordered items they were all in stock had some delivered lovely but still waiting for 2 items too come

Ordered in stock items online. I phoned to check the items were available to collect. Went to collect the items only to find they had mistakenly been delivered to someone else. Items were retrieved and delivered to me. On checking the balustrade posts, found scores on all posts. Replacements delivered from another depot a couple of days later. Not the best experience.

Delivery arrived earlier than expected which was great, unloaded everything quickly and safely allowing me time to move to where I needed it. Very easy to order online and received call to say what day will be delivered.

Helpful staff good products reasonable price. Collected 20 minutes after the order was placed.

I can honestly say it was an absolute pleasure doing business with Howarth Timber. Polite and helpful staff with my initial enquiry. Placing the order was a doddle. The items were here within days, top quality flags, no mess or inconvenience. And the price could not be bettered. Highly recommended.

Fantastic customer service given at the Brighouse branch!! Bought some Indian stone toppings and found 1 was delivered larger than the others. With no more in stock of the same size, Andy from the yard borrowed a still saw from HSS hire (who are in the same building) and spent a lot of time cutting and chipping away at the topping to get it the right size. Hat’s off to Andy for saving me the hassle of having to start again re-bedding new toppings.

Item was fine. There was damage to my front entrance from where the legs of the lorry was. Driver took pictures and said someone would be in touch. Two weeks alterations nothing and I have called few times. I called yesterday and was told the manager would call me right away. Still nothing. Highly disappointed.
