Best quality kitchens at realistic prices
As a kitchen fitter with over 15 years’ experience, I’ve dealt with plenty of suppliers, but Howdens Haydock consistently stands out as my go-to.
The staff here are outstanding – knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely helpful every single time. They understand the trade side of things perfectly: quick quotes, clear lead times, accurate ordering, and no-nonsense advice on which ranges will perform best on site. Nothing ever feels rushed, and they always go the extra mile to make sure everything is right before it leaves the depot.
In terms of quality versus price, Howdens remains unbeatable in my book. The units, doors, and components are built to a consistently high standard – solid, well-finished, and reliable – yet the pricing allows me to offer my clients excellent kitchens without killing the margin. Whether it’s a straightforward refurb or a high-spec project, I can always find the right balance of quality and cost.
Deliveries are reliable, the product range is extensive, and the after-sales support is excellent if anything does need adjusting. I’ve fitted dozens of Howdens kitchens over the years through this branch and every single one has resulted in a happy customer and a smooth install.

I’m confident to send clients to the store and get a great reception and good design help. I may swap a few bits before going to order but generally great. Never been let down, sometimes things weren’t right but always sorted instantly with no drama.

My builder asked me to come into the store to see what skirting boards I would like, I was greeted by the lovely manager and offered a complimentary hot drink, was shown all styles of skirting by him and quickly made my mind up 10/10 service thanks again

Came in with my mum to view items for an upcoming project on her house, we was shown different options of doors and handles by the 2 warehouse men they couldn’t have been anymore friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place and their staff.

Emma at Haydock was amazing from start to finish during our kitchen renovation. We now have a beautiful finished kitchen and it’s just as designed. Emma was very patient with us during the design process, making sure we were happy at each stage. We did change our mind a couple of times on appliance choices and this was not an issue.
The quality is exceptional and everything went extremely smoothly, with Emma helping us keep organised throughout. I cannot recommend Howdens enough, the kitchen is simply beautiful.

Kitchen fitted end of December. Just in time for Christmas dinner since then I’ve wrote a review but Howdens at haydock have never come back to me we were getting a kitchen from B&Q.and Now just wished we had our old kitchen was in better condition it’s not what we expected and we feel we have been let down nothing like the kitchen designer . had shown us when he called and all that money we have wasted there are units with panels missing so items fall out under the units all the screws are exposed. We have noticed a panel as started to peel away dents in the worktop not nice just looks
cheep and nasty It’s nice to see you have answers me again but anyone reading this that’s as far as they will get no body ever from haycock will call or contact us and like any other company the kitchen should be guaranteed ?

This was my first experience on visiting Howden's, Haydock, and I was overwhelmed, literally, by the care and attention I received. Emma was so amiable and professional, without being pushy. My needs and wants were taken care of admirably, and I was listened to, instead of being preached to. Emma designed my kitchen then produced computer photo's of how it would look, and again, I was overwhelmed by her results. My kitchen is now installed, 2 weeks later, and my daughter and I are completely loving it, and still can't believe how beautiful it is. We thank Emma highly for her expertise and caring nature, and we recommend Howdens enormously for their wide choice of goods, their professionalism and very reasonable prices. Thank you so much.
