Required Truge buckets 🪣 to help me in cleaning work area and found them on special offer at Howdens Wishaw . Their depot opened at 08:30 so I popped by and waited on it opening . I assume it was the manager first there and followed him in and apologised for being too quick as was in a hurry but he did not get fazed and was very polite and took care of my order . It was not a large order but he was very helpful and friendly . Can’t say enough words of thanks to him and the other staff for their help . Well worth the effort going there . Thankyou guys 👍

Kitchen account eventually sorted took several phone calls, to both local office and head office. I was fed up with getting chased for money I didn’t owe. Replacement items which were originally damaged were charged at new rate and I was refunded old rate took awhile to sort out. Eventually done but was made a lot harder than it should’ve been. Everyone said they would sort it and 4th person (Kelly) eventually did it there and then.

My business has been using Howdens Wishaw branch for many many years. I cannot fault the service of any of the team there.
I have had 4 kitchens planned by them since 22 and they all fit like a glove. I also use them for appliances for replacements.
I find them very professional and extremely helpful, and on the odd occasion there has been an issue, they have always rectified it pretty much immediately.
Keep up the good work and exceptional service guys and girls. A pure pleasure to deal with you all.

Got my new kitchen from this Branch. I ordered the Clerkenwell in Gloss Slate Grey with the Desert Silver Quartz worktop. The whole experience of order to delivery was fantastic. There was a slight issue on receiving delivery/fitting of my worktop however, one of the sections had an imperfection that the fitters tried to fix on site. Unfortunately, this was not possible so we refused it. Went on the phone to the Wishaw Branch and they sorted it all out for us with no issues. The kitchen is complete and looks fantastic. The team were knowledgable and their customer service was second to none. I feel you can really tell if a company shines when there is a problem. Issues can crop up at any time and this team handled it efficiently and professionally. Would highly recommend this Branch. Thank you.

We have just fitted a kitchen from the Wishaw branch. The customer bought it directly from Howdens and asked us to fit.
Sizes were wrong and a door way not took in to consideration in the plan. Would have left 300mm worktop to worktop for the customer to walk through. I caught this in time to get things changed about.
The end panels sent with the kitchen were the dead size of the units, (no room to scribe to walls). The customer called to see if they can send bigger panels.
Tony the designer was quick to tell the customer that the prep hasn't been done right and the walls should have been made straight & plum first, its your fitters fault.
It is an old building that was never getting new walls. They also suggested cutting the service gap out of the units so the end panels would fit.
This wouldn't have worked as the walls deviate too much and there was a integrated dishwasher already tight to the wall.
I asked the customer to let me speak to Tony so I could explain this, he said to the customer he doesn't want to speak to me!
I tried calling back 3 times to speak to tony and he avoided all the calls.
The customer ended up having to pay more for bigger panels.
Also multiple items missing, a damaged door and duplicate doors.
Howdens then called me to say it would be an additional £30 to deliver the missing items along with the new panels. They waived this right away when questioned.
The customer has since spoke to Louise about the final balance to which she wouldn't provide them with an invoice as they don't have an account... They sold the kitchen and took the payment without an account.
My customer and I both found her to have a terrible attitude on the phone and she was iterating the point again to the customer that the kitchen wasn't prepped properly to suit those end panels.
We have fitted around 20 kitchens in the last 2 years.
Wren, Magnet, MGM, Palazo all send bigger end panels as standard.
If Howdens are gong to sell kitchens with end panels the exact size of units, start taking a spirit level with you when you measure up to make sure this will work.
I will never be using this branch again. What could have been a quick fix of just sending bigger panels turned in to Louise and Tony getting defensive and trying to fling other people under the bus without even listening to what the problem was.
Tony needs to get core competent on designing kitchens and be able to take calls and not hide from people.
Louise please work on your customer service skills. You don't own the company.
