DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY. The car I purchased was not as described / advertised. Features and functions advertised did not exist on the car at all. The car was described as being in 'Showroom' condition. It was not, and items were missing such as the luggage compartment cover. 2 days after collecting the car, the engine check light came on. I immediately contacted HR Motors via WhatsApp and Email. Two weeks later, I am still waiting for a response from their aftersales and claims services people. They do not reply to anything at all. As a result I decided to cancel my premium warranty within he legal cooling-off period. Despite asking every day for a response, I have still not received a reply or a refund... They put the phone down on you when trying to contact them... Before you pay, the sales people are super friendly - do not be fooled. Once you pay, the after sales support is non-existent - you are completely ignored. HR Motors are an unreliable, unprofessional and dishonest company who just want your money. I am now having to take legal action ...

Definitely avoid this company

Definitely avoid this company. Had used before and everything went smoothly and no hassles. This time, after reducing price twice the winning bidder acted as if the car should be in brand new condition even tho Motorway gave it a score of 4 out of 5, meaning minor signs of wear/scuff marks etc. The dealer bid well under Motorway predicted price and spent hours inspecting the car. He was incompetent, he asked where the engine was even tho it’s an electric car. Basically I feel Motorway and the garage didn’t care about honouring the agreed price and even tho I could have walked a way I don’t want to deal with charlatans like this so accepted price as didn’t want them on my property any longer (the genius had arrived by taxi so as I live in the country I’d have felt obligated to take to station. Will never use Motorway again as they work for garages not sellers

Follow up and trust issues.

We bought a Peugeot Rifter through HR Motor. We contacted HR Motor and was attended by a sales person, who where sitting in a different branch where our car was presented. The staff, dont know the cars, or what is included, service history, proof of service history and over all condition etc. After many whatsapp conversations, forward and backwards, we ended up paying the deposit. Luckly I went to Sevilla from Estepona, to inspect the car my self. It needed a ITV, Full service and a little touch up with paint. To be fair, they did complete, but only after I, as a trained mechanic pointed these issues out, and mentioned the ITV was due and couldent be transfered in to my name, if they didn't comply! I have felt, that I had to be on top of HR motor and the sales person, for them to complete and do there job. They deserve 3 stars, as the car is good, they did the service (just) and it passed ITV. For 5 stars, I expect excellence and a costumer minded staff, which I did not find here. We just recieved 3 months later, the car documents, hence I first write my review now. I wish new costumers a pleasent experience, but be alert, there is space for improvement.

We found a car on their website and went to their Alicante office to reserve it and arrange delivery to Alicante. On 16 December 2025, we reserved the car and paid for delivery and paperwork. We were clearly told that the car would be delivered in a maximum of 15 days.

After that, we received no updates at all. On 3 January, we contacted them ourselves and were told that the car was still pending registration.

Later, they proposed a different car with a different configuration, which we accepted only because we were already renting a car and losing money. After another week, they informed us that this second car also had problems and could not be sold, and they proposed yet another car, again with a different configuration and a higher price.

At that point, it was already more than one and a half months since we had paid, and they were still unable to deliver the reserved car. We requested a refund. They replied that, according to the contract, the money can only be returned after 90 days.

Of course, the contract does not mention anything about a 15-day delivery time, that was communicated verbally. Unfortunately, we trusted their word, which turned out to be a mistake.

Very disappointing experience. I do not recommend this company.

Awful. Avoid at all costs

We bought a Puegeot 3008 at the end of August which we collected in Paterna, Valencia. At the end of November, we got an oil pressure fault from the engine which has caused us to be unable to use the car. I reported the issue to HR Motors and they advised me to bring it to Feu Vert in Paterna, Valencia for them to check the car. They reported that the car had an issue with the oil not getting through to the engine causing the oil pressure to drop suddenly.

They then requested I go to a different garage on the 23rd December under the impression that it was to get the car repaired. They confirmed by Whatsapp it was to fix the fault.

Due to the holidays, it took until the start of this week (Jan 12th 2025) to be informed that they would not be covering the cost of the repair, even though it's a problem with the engine and we have a 1 year guarantee which covers the engine. This is stated clearly on their website and was confirmed by the salesman, Victor Forcada, before we bought the car. Even the second garage said it there responsibility to fix the fault.

The reason they gave for not fixing the fault was due to that part of the engine being "wear & tear". We've only been able to use the car for approx 2 months and only driven 2000km approx so for them to claim that it's wear and tear is just madness. They clearly have done ZERO checks on the car in advance of selling it.

From early December up until now, we've been unable to use the car and now have additional costs for hire cars and insurance on our old car which this car was supposed to replace. But HR Motors don't care and won't honour the guarantee. Essentially the guarantee is completely useless.

In short, avoid buying a car from HR Motors. They will be your best friend when buying but once bought, they'll treat you with contempt.

Update after the response received. I encourage you to stop lying and actually do your job which is to supply cars that actually work and don't break down after 2 months of use. Even your motto "Los coches, como neuvos" make you look like fools and crooks which sadly, you are.

Bought a Peugeot 2008 year 2021

Bought a Peugeot 2008 year 2021.
Hr motor is doing 250 point check according to homepage and fix issues.
And included a warranty for 1 wear
On the way home the warning lamp for radar not working started .
After 50 km the brakes in front was needed to change.
After 200 km lamp for low oil warning.
Did a reclaim but this wasn’t included in the warranty
But the car doesn’t pass a ITV when radar is broken.

Eviten HR Motor – Venden coches dañados por inundaciones sin declararlo

Aconsejo firmemente a cualquiera que esté pensando en comprar un coche en HR Motor que lo piense dos veces. Compré un vehículo en su sucursal de Valencia hace casi un año. Desde el primer día pedí en repetidas ocasiones el historial de mantenimiento y la información de garantía, pero se negaron a proporcionarlos. En los chats incluso afirmaron que el coche tenía garantía de fábrica y todas las revisiones hechas (véanse las capturas) — lo cual resultó ser falso.

Desde entonces he enviado más de 5 correos electrónicos y realizado muchas llamadas, todas ignoradas. Una vez recibí el coche (tras haberlo “revisado completamente”), lo llevé a mi mecánico local, quien me mostró que la correa de distribución estaba agrietada y en mal estado. HR Motor entonces dijo que la arreglaría. Pero no lo hicieron en Peugeot como habían prometido durante la venta (véase la captura), sino que lo hicieron ellos mismos y después se negaron a darme cualquier documento que acreditara lo que habían hecho.

Incluso abrí un caso con Consum Català, al que HR Motor tampoco respondió, y el caso quedó cerrado.

Recientemente, después de llevar el coche a Peugeot Sant Celoni para una revisión completa, los mecánicos me llamaron al taller para mostrarme el estado real y alarmante del vehículo: toda la parte inferior entre los protectores y el motor estaba aún llena de barro, piedras y restos, algo imposible de obtener con una conducción normal. En el compartimento del motor se ven claramente las marcas del nivel del agua de la inundación, y los parachoques están literalmente sujetos con bridas. El coche ni siquiera fue lavado adecuadamente antes de la venta.

Avoid HR Motor – Selling Flood-Damaged Cars Without Disclosure

I strongly advise anyone considering buying a car from HR Motor to think twice. I purchased a vehicle from their Valencia branch almost a year ago. From day one, I asked repeatedly for the service history and guarantee information, but they refused to provide it. In chats, they even claimed the car had full manufacturer guarantee and all services completed(see pictures) — which turned out to be false.

Since then, I have sent no fewer than 5 emails and made many calls, all of which have been ignored. once i got the car (after they "fully serviced it") I took it to my local mechanic who showed me the timing belt was cracked and in bad condition. HR motor then said they would fix it. But it was not done at Peugeot as they promised during the sale(see picture) they did it themselves and then refused to give me any paperwork showing what they have done.

I even opened a case with Catalan Consum, which HR Motor refused to respond to, and the case was closed.

Recently, after taking the car to Peugeot Sant Celoni for a full service, the mechanics called me back into the workshop to show me the shocking state of the vehicle: the entire underside between the protectors and engine bay still packed with mud, rocks, and debris — impossible to get from normal driving. There are visible flood waterlines in the engine bay, and bumpers are literally tied on with zip ties. The car was never even properly cleaned before sale. I am now sending the car to an independent perito (judicial assessor) in Valencia specialized in DANA flood vehicles. Once I have the official report, I will be going to the police so they can investigate HR Motor’s practices — because I am certain this is not an isolated case. If you value your money and your safety, avoid HR Motor

Really very bad service and information from the seller. We reserved a car, had to pay 390,- euros he could not give us a receipt for. 4 hours later we cancelled the car because it was too long for our garage. They will not refund the 390,- euros. Do not buy a car from this company!

I purchased a vehicle from HR Motor on September 13, 2024. I received the car without any issues, but they told me they would send the documents within three weeks. After the three-week period ended, I tried to contact them, but I couldn’t reach the sales representative who sold me the car. Later, I sent an email to the headquarters, and they responded a few days later, saying they were still preparing the documents and would send them as soon as possible. In two days, it will have been exactly two months since the date I bought the car, and they still haven’t sent the documents. I send a message every day asking about the status of the documents, and each time they say they will be sent as soon as possible, but I still haven’t received them.

Coches que no pasan ITV

I'm really disappointed with HR Motor. The was good when selling the car I bought, but customer service when something is wrong sucks.
I chose HR Motor because they were big, had offices around Spain and seemed trustworthy. They proved me wrong.
5 months after I bought the car I had ITV control which the car did not pass. As I live abroad the car had only been used for 4 weeks of those 5 months. The comment from ITV says GRAVE and the car can not be used until fixed. As I do not live in Spain and only come for vacation I needed to get the car fixed A S.A.P.
Today there are 8 days since I first contacted HR Motors and asked what to do and only 3 days left of my vacation. There car is still not fixed and no date has been set. They have managed to confirm that the repair goes under the 1 year guarantee I have.

A los 5 meses de comprar el coche tuve el control de la ITV y el coche no pasó. Como vivo fuera de Espanña, el coche sólo se había utilizado durante 4 semanas de esos 5 meses. El comentario de ITV dice GRAVE y el coche no se puede utilizar hasta que lo arreglen. Como no vivo en España y solo vengo de vacaciones necesitaba que me arreglaran el coche de inmediato
Hoy han pasado 8 días desde que me comuniqué por primera vez con HR Motors y le pregunté qué hacer y solo quedan 3 días de mis vacaciones. El coche todavía no está arreglado y no se ha fijado ninguna fecha. Han logrado confirmar que la reparación está bajo la garantía de 1 año que tengo.

I bought a car triber with them 29…

I bought a car triber with them 29 March 2024, the car had a some machinical problem and they came and collected the car in April and in May 2024 we had a written agreement that they will sell the car and find a better car that we requested. They moved from the place that we bought the car no communication about car or refund of the amount we paid. We have made several contact with the manager and he keeps promising to call us back but no call from him. They are crooks and scammers who think they can get away with it. Thinking we will not do anything about it

Incorrect Delivery of Car Documents and Key

I purchased a car, and they arranged to send the Ficha Técnica and Permiso de Circulación by mail. However, they mixed up the order and sent me a car key for a Nissan Juke with the number plate 3356KOB instead. Now, I have someone else’s car key, and someone else has the documentation for my car.

I contacted them via WhatsApp, and they said they would organize a pickup. It’s now been seven days, and despite multiple messages asking for updates on the GLS pickup, they have either not responded or provided vague information.

So, if anyone would like a Nissan Juke, I have the car key.

HRMotors, I suggest you do everything you can to rectify this mess immediately.

I am not impressed so far

I am not impressed so far. I have emailed them asking some questions about one of teir cars and i have not had a reply.
As a salesman myself first impressions are vital, together with customer service.
If i have not heard from them today answering all my questions in full, then they have lost a sale.

beware it is a big scam company

beware it is a big scam company. they sold us a manipulative car. they sell cars with a warranty, but you can only get that with a lawyer and in court and that takes years.

Due to no response from the garage I'll…

Due to no response from the garage I'll just post my review again.
My husband ordered a car through finance.
The company were willing to help us to get the sale.
Delivery was arranged for Wednesday between 10am+12pm ... at 1145am my husband was called to let him know they hadn't even left yet! The car was test driven the night before after being sat in the garage and due to a "noise" the car now required two small parts replacing... why this wasn't told to us the night before when it was test driven is beyond us... they left it until 15 minutes before the time it was meant to be with us!
Our own car had been sold Wednesday morning... meaning we were now without a car until the next delivery date which we were told latest Saturday... we have an 8 week old baby and jobs and now no car.
Inbetween wednesday and saturday the garage dodged calls and ignored texts messages not only from us but also the finance company. Yet when we rung from another phone it was answered.
Saturday came and after ringing 104 times as no one had been in touch we finally got correspondence... a text message consisting of a 2 line explanation as to what was happening. The car hadn't even had the work done! And was now aparently being delivered Monday.
Yet again no contact from anyone... until Monday when the calls had been handed to another member of staff as the original person couldn't be bothered to see the sale through as it was now causing him an issue.
After being handed to a third person to sort we were promised delivery for Tuesday 14th ... yet again no contact I return until 2pm when we were told the deal has been cancelled ... the work had been done but it still was making a noise and obviously the car was too much of a challenge for these mechanics to fix.
We've had to pay out for taxis to and from work ( which after being told to save the receipts for reimbursement) the garage is now refusing to pay out to compensate us.
This crap company is very lucky our child hasn't needed to go anywhere in an emergency as they have left us completely without a car when this was promised as a done deal multiple times.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND TRUST THE BAD REVIEWS ALREADY LEFT. This company is NOT interested in helping people and once a job becomes too hard they abandon. Lack of communication from this company is disgusting. Staff working here should also be aware as the person who was dealing with us first had nothing but had things to say about his own mechanics.
We demand compensation as we are still without a car and have had to pay out for things we wouldn't have needed to if the company had just been HONEST.
Please be aware if a resolution is not found I will be taking this much much further and will make sure no one uses this company again! We've been nothing but nice... a person can only be so nice when they are being blatantly ignored, deceived and lied to.

We bought a Seat Ibiza from HRMotors in…

We bought a Seat Ibiza from HRMotors in May this year. It was delivered with the attention service light on the dashboard and the spare key not the original remote key. After many emails and conversations with the company promising the key and the service problem being resolved, 1 out of 2 have been resolved. The service records were provided and HRMotors Sevilla have reset the service light. However, we are now 5 months later and the main key has not been delivered. Despite many assurances the main key is ready TY o send, HRMotors have failed to deliver. Somewhere is our key. Someone can take our car and our insurance will not cover the theft because it was taken by key. Our car is rarely used and kept on a locked driveway to protect it. Seat will replace the locking system but is €1000.00 plus.
Do not buy from this company. They will promise everything for a sale, but will walk away if there is a problem. Despite 5 months of weekly contact, HRMotors have not delivered.
