The customer service I received from a number of staff at HUGHIE WILLETT was first class. I made a mistake in ordering hedge trimmer that was not suitable for me.
Basically, I ordered a model that would prove a little heavy for me, I am 81yrs of age. The help I had in deciding which model was more suitable from Serena and Mat was excellent.
The collection of the unsuitable model and the delivery of a more appropriate machine was organised professionally and went without an hitch.
First class service and I would recommend this company.
to cut a long story short I took my chainsaw in for a service they charged me 50 to tell me it needed what I told them and then they said my total bill would be 260 with a new blade which are 13 pounds total rip off merchants no wonder they live on a big farm avoid these like the plague disgusting customer service as well
Purchased a pair of chainsaw trousers on 12th of January, Did not get a response till 5th February and said they don't sell them anymore?
Still waiting on refund on shabby service.

Was buying Kubota mower blades online and was told by their staff on the phone they would refund the postage cost after I put the order through and after chasing this up after the parts had arrived, I was on the phone with a director from this company for about 15 minutes arguing about £6 I had been promised by her staff, she also stated her job was on the line if she refunded this money which says a lot about the company
In response to Hughie Williet reply, I'd like to set the record straight, I phoned this company when I had items in my basket which was over the spend limit to get free delivery but still showed a delivery charge in my basket and was told by member of staff over the phone just put order through and P&P would be refunded after chasing this up after the goods had arrived was told it was new member of staff and she shouldn't have said that, which has to be the responsibility of this company for not informing there staff.

Finnaly got my parts, lack of communication, eg, not keeping in contact and letting me know. But I got the parts sent, took almost a week to receive it, and couldn't track it. Sort these out and your get 5 stars. Not sure I'd order again due to all of this, but will see.

Wanted to purchase a Husqvarna 420TsX AWD with 122cm deck in January. They had one in stock and I would have happily bought it.
However, after a promising start, I sent various information expecting a call back. Had to chase and (fair enough) she'd missed the email, but promised to come back to me after reading it. Never did. So, you screwed up the second chance.
So, I ordered one from Russells (Cubley) a few days later - even though I had to wait. Great service. Kept me informed and matched Hughie Willett price. Also bought a flail and now ordering a rotating brush and snowplough.
If this is how you treat your potential new customers, I dread to think how your after-sales service might be.
£18k sale lost, and I now have also ordered a new ATV which I would have (possibly) bought through you as well.
Sorry to all the other employees there who may have made a better first impression. No excuse for such a poor interaction with new customer. Glad I didn't spend my money with you.

Awful customer service/company to deal with. Order a automower, didn’t work! Told to send it back to them for repair they ended up sending back to manufacture for repair. Asked for a new replacement told to wait. 6wks of endless emails with no reply and phone calls they finally refunded the money. Brought an extension kit for auto mower witch they told me to and they never refunded that money saying it wasn’t broken but I had brought under there recommended for a machine that didn’t work! Nor replace with a new machine!
Will not be giving them my business again

Ordered a new chainsaw and arrived 3 days later. Very good price and really friendly staff when I called them. Will use again in the future

Bought a pruning saw, received my order confirmation, but after a month it hadn’t arrived so I cancelled the order.
Bought a non stock flail header for our Husqvarna mower from Hughie. He had it here in under a week. Proper job.
Ordered a Stihl chainsaw Easter Monday, confirmation of despatch on Tuesday and saw delivered on Thursday .Excellent service and at a very competitive price.
Excellent service. Ordered a Stihl Chain Saw at 19:40 on Tuesday 14th February. Had the shipping email at 08:13 on Wednesday 15th and the saw was delivered by Parcelforce before 11:00 on Thursday 16th. The saw is perfect and was a great price. Certainly couldn’t better the service. Hughie Willett Machinery have my recommendation and I would definitely buy from them again.
Ordered and paid for a chainsaw which was shown as in stock. Week later no saw and when I called was told their website and inventory weren't linked. Saw was going to take another 3 weeks so cancelled order and got immediate refund so glad for that. They need to make stock inventory connection to save time wasting.
Few issues with emails being missed but soon sorted by Serena, great place to source Kubota parts and a few bargains in clearance section, very helpful via phone
