Nightmare
Nightmare. Sent wrong order and would not accept return from me. Also in a separate order I wanted to return a dress that did not fit - same story would not accept a return. I am speaking with financial ombudsman to try to recover my £100 outlay.
TO BE AVOIDED
By far hungry dk has the worse customer service ever.
So I had a mistake in the order and they refused to return it I have already asked them to delete my profile, I will never use them ever again after the experience I had with Klara from their CS team.

Terrible service, terrible support.
After a number of years of service and probably hundreds of deliveries, Hungry is now refusing to deliver to my address, even though my neighbor gets deliveries. Customer support said they had to "shrink their delivery areas" in JUST the city i live in. And apparently JUST enough to cover me and not my neighbor.
Thanks for nothing Hungry. Lousy service

Terrible service!!
I made an order for sushi, payed for the order and delivery, and when the food finally arrived, a part of the order was not there.. i contacted the customer support, and got greeted by an employee, that would not help me, other than repay the amount for the item.
One of us didnt get to eat was was ordered, and had to make a new order and pay for delivery AGAIN! might not be a lot of money, but to pay for 2 times delivery just pisses me off. BAD SERVICE!!

Cancellation 10 minutes before delivery
We got the cancellation of our order 10 minutes before the delivery (the order was confirmed 1,5 hours before). I called your service center and they told me that the reason is because the restaurant is closed today.
Well, I called the restaurant, which is open, and order directly with them.
Do not lie to your customers and take actions promptly.

The delivery guy stole our food?
The delivery guy obviously couldn't find the place as he was circling the apartment in a radius of about 1km, which I could follow on the in-app map. After 20 minutes he calls me, I give him fairly precise directions and he mumbles something and hangs up. I get up and walk out to the main road by the apartment where I hope to catch him the next time he drives by. After I've waited a couple of minutes I see that the Hungry-app now says the food has been delivered. I try to call him but he doesn't pick up. After calling customer service they explain that the delivery guys have had a very hectic day. However, they were also unable to reach him. I sort of assume he has chosen to drive home and eat the food himself. I got a coupon for 25% off the next time I use Hungry, but as situations like this are almost the norm, by now, I am unsure I'll ever use the service again.

Beware of the fact that a declined order (by Hungry, not the restaurant) will not be compensated right away. The funds will be back in your account in a few days. That s surely amazing!

Promotion code not working, app crashing
I downloaded the app and made an order to use the "app20" promotion code, but it said it didn't work. No further explanation. I have never used the app before...
Also, the app crashed three times during that one order. I have a fairly new OnePlus 6, so that is very bad performance.
I made the order anyways, and payed full price.
All in all, quite unhappy with the experience. Will uninstall the app, and probably never use it again.

Long delivery with several mistakes. I then had to wait in the phone queue only to get told that I have to call the shop itself.
No offer to correct the order but I could get money back. Now I am waiting for this to happen.

Placed an order with "delivery". At some point in the process, it switched to "pick up" without me noticing at all. I open a chat instantly one minute later to cancel the order or change it to delivery but no can do. They don't want to help me so I just lose my money.
If their customer service can't even help with such a simple issue, then I don't want to use it anymore and I cannot simply recommend it to anyone.
Their competitors offer much better experience and service.
Unhappy with the service
I made an order and paid with Apple Pay. On Hungry’s app it said that the order didn’t go through (an error), but the money was deducted from my account.
The response from the customer service was basically that “the money will come back to you within a few days and sorry, can’t do anything else”. It took more than a week.
Will be ordering from your competitors from here on.

Even though it says 40 min. delivery I got my food in 80 minutes. It could be fine if the food wasn't cold.
