My morning back ache has gone and bed is comfortable. However I find the ridge in the middle where the upholstery does not get slept on tends to roll me towards the edge. Instructions say do not sit on the edge so how do you get in? Not as good as the Millbrook (it had become tired after 14 years) it replaced. Could have exchanged this at the retailer but added a topper instead.

I had a high spot in the centre of our previous mattress this one spreads the weight of the body much better.

We love the space of our new super king size bed, and the firmness of the mattress. Well worth waiting six weeks to get it!

My wife and I tried a variety of firm and extra firm mattresses in store from a variety of manufacturers. We tried these with a softer‘topping’ but still found them too soft. My wife has had back problems and so thought a firmer mattress would help. We settled on the Hypnos Luxury Ortho Support No. 1 Pocket Spring Mattress, Extra Firm. We have been using for 2 months and can say she has had not back issues and both have been very pleased with the build and structure of the mattress.

My experience with Hypnos has been great ! I would recommend there mattress as they are so comfortable , very well made and a lovely efficient company to deal with . When I need another new mattress it will be a Hypnos . They are the best

We bought a Hynos bed 2 years ago. We complained to Park Furnishers (Leekes) two weeks after purchasing the bed because the mattress was too firm and started to dip in the mattress. We were asked to send photos of the mattress to Leekes. We waited to hear back from Leekes but nothing was ever sorted. We thought that we would persevere and see if the mattress got any better in time. The mattress has got worse over time dips in the mattress causing horrendous pains in my arms and horrendous bad back to the extreme that I cannot even sit down on the toilet seat without yelling out in agony. We rang Hypnos direct and they have told us to go back to Park Furnishers (Leekes) where we bought the bed before Hypnos will even consider doing anything for us. We are just going around in circles again. This is the worst mattress that we have ever purchased. Their advert is "The most comfortable bed in the world". I can assure you that this is the WORST mattress in the world. This mattress is NOT fit for anyone.

Their solid divan bed base breaks/dents so easily. The cheap MDF board laid o on top of the beams/timber doesn’t support the mattress properly. Mine had a dent in less that 2 months and I’m a single female who weighs 150 pounds. I tried to buy a replacement same thing happened. More fragile than slats I previously had for years. Better bed frames elsewhere.

We purchased a Hypnos Pillowtop Aurora Mattress after 7 great years with another brand. The Hypnos was bought to provide support to a continuous back problem (having had a spinal injury during military service). Initially we were very pleased, however within6 months the mattress really started to collapse. We chalked this up to settling but at the 2.5 Year point the mattress was beyond bearable with approximately a 4” dip in the mattress on both sides where our hips go. Knowing Hypnos offer a 10 Year warranty I contacted the shop wear I bought the mattress from and began looking for a replacement. The shop was great, we submitted the proof photos and were told that Hypnos would book an independent inspection. 12 hours later, Hypnos cancelled this as the mattress had a blue stain on it and so they would not honour the warranty. Bear in mind the stain was unrelated to the collapse; it was located at the feet end of the mattress and ironically that part had not collapsed at all. The stain was blue and caused by our toddler tipping a small amount of bath soap onto our bed, some of which soaked through the duvet onto the mattress. At the time this was removed with a wet vac, but the small stain persists.

Hypnos are behaving dishonourably, the issue at hand is the mattress collapsing, the blue mark has nothing to do with this collapse. After 2.5 Years we are now forced to change our mattress, a £1400 purchase that lasts such a short period of time is appalling, but what is worse is a company offering a ten-year warranty but using every weak excuse to weasel out of honouring it. Don’t buy a Hypnos mattress, this company lacks integrity, much the same as their mattresses lack physical integrity. No wonder Premier inn dropped them at the earliest opportunity.

Edit: HYPNOS replied, in rebuttal. It is impossible to sleep on a mattress and avoid moisture penetrating it unless you place a rubber sheet over the mattress, I sweat, like everyone else. There are marks on the mattress from this. Refusing to honour a warranty based upon soiling makes the warranty worthless, show me a ten year mattress without light soiling? This one is 2.5 years, if the mattress cannot cope with any moisture then it isn’t fit for purpose. It’s an easy way to weasel out of honouring your warranty. The warranty is worthlesss, the irony is we were prepared to upgrade to a higher tier of mattress from Hypnos if the warranty had been honoured, partially as a sign of good will from us and partially to support a company doing the right thing. BUT you chose to behave in a dishonourable manner and as such we will NEVER buy from you again, we will never recommend you again and we will actively discuss our wholly negative experiences with anyone and everyone we know.

Not only was the owner massively well informed about "everything beds", there was no hard sell.

That said, the mattress didn't need it, it's been brilliant, since day one!

Great product; worth the higher cost for the quality you get - you're a long time asleep!!

After c. 3 months the mattress - which cost c. £2,300 is dipping where we sleep with a hump in between us and generally a bit lumpy, not like the one in John Lewis where we bought this. A technician was sent by JL and the conclusion was there's no fault. Hypnos say it's our 'comfort issues'.
We have a 10 year Hypnos from which we upgraded. From a combined 140 year experience of sleeping on mattresses - not experienced anything so poor.
Looks like we'll need to go to small claims.

The delivery and removal of our old bed and base was exceptional, arrived before scheduled date and delivery staff were nice and efficient.
The divan base is great and the drawer space excellent. With hindsight though I should have bought a firmer mattress. It was chosen in the showroom at Leekes because my disabled husband found it the most comfortable to get in and out of and also didn’t slide off, when sitting on the side of the bed. However; It is comfortable to sleep in, but I have been getting up in the mornings with quite severe backache, which eases once I start moving about. This was highlighted by us being away for New Year, as on getting up in the mornings I did not have ANY backache. That is the only reason for my low star choice

After 15 years, we finally decided it was time to replace our old mattress something we’d been putting off because we could never find anything that matched its comfort and quality. That changed when we were recommended a Hypnos mattress. The difference was immediate. It’s the first mattress we’ve found that truly lives up to (and even surpasses) the comfort of our old one. We couldn’t be happier with our choice

The bed is fab, very comfortable, I get a much better night's sleep.

Unfortunately I was disappointed with the fact that I have not received a paper warranty for the bed , when I phoned Hypnos I was told that this is online.
I do not have that facility, my online skills are very limited so I am extremely disappointed with this aspect of your company.

Surely you could send me a paper guarantee, especially after I have spent a very large amount of money on this bed.

Company advised us a delivery date and arrived on the day. The quality of Hypnos beds are just as good as have allways been. This our third Hypnos mattress allthough all different they are all very high quality.
