This was a picking error by our fulfilment company, which resulted in the wrong size of ducting being sent to you.
I understand from the fulfilment company that a member of their team has already spoken to you by phone to explain the situation and to apologise for their error.
We would like to take this opportunity to offer our sincere apologies on behalf of the fulfilment company for the incorrect item being delivered.
I completely appreciate how frustrating and inconvenient this must have been, particularly when you were expecting to receive the correct product. We always strive to provide the highest level of service, so I am very sorry that we fell short on this occasion.
Upon reviewing the order, I can see that we attempted to resolve the issue by offering to send a replacement on the next working day AM delivery. Unfortunately, our daily dispatch cut-off time had expired, and the couriers had already collected all consignments for that day, meaning we were unable to arrange a same-day dispatch.
I can also see that, following your discussion with my colleague, you requested a full refund rather than a replacement, and I can confirm that this has now been processed.
Please accept my sincere apologies once again for the inconvenience and disappointment caused. We genuinely value your business and hope that, despite this experience, you will give us the opportunity to serve you again in the future.

Thanks for your feedback — we really appreciate you taking the time to explain the difference. We’re glad you managed to get it to fit, but we completely understand it can be confusing when a replacement fits *inside* the duct rather than *over* the outside like the previous one.

From what we can see, we don’t appear to have a record of the original part being purchased from us, so we’re assuming it may have been from an alternative manufacturer — and different makes do vary on whether a spigot is designed to fit internally or externally. We’ve taken a look at our product listing and it does specify that this model fits inside, however we’ll review the page to see if we can make that even clearer to avoid any future confusion.

If you can share a photo of the old part (or its key measurements), we’ll happily help you identify the closest like-for-like option for next time.
