Frame is mass produced in Taiwan. Mine collapsed after 4 months. ICE just handed over another one from their pile of junk. Their forum is quite hostile to any criticisms. They both deserve each other. Total waste of money and time.

I have been riding a Terratrike for the past 10 years and I always seen the ICE Adventure as the peak of trike refinement. I was finally able to to order my ICE Adventure HD with EP8 and Enviolo. I had ordered the Rohloff 14 speed hub but due to supply chain issue with the Rohloff, I requested a change to the Enviolo and it was the best thing, I am so happy with the automatic. I thought I would regret it but I do not miss planning the shifting, I watch the world go by and appreciate the views!!!

Everything about this trike is first class, you may find an equal trike but you will not find a better trike. The Adventure is the more upright sitting position is great for me after 4 back surgeries and the Ergo Lux seat is simply the most comfortable trike seat on the market.

Having said all the positive it is time for the large list of negative. The dealer network in the New England area of US has been supportive but bad.It has taken me over three months and 6 plus shop visits to get it right I hope!!! It is winter now and not likely to have a chance to seen if the last adjustments worked.

While I believe I will be happy eventuality. If I could do it again I would have purchased a Cat Trike Dumont gotten most of the features and saved 4 thousand dollars or more.

I love my velocipede (Ice Adventure automatic) and it has made a huge difference to my life. I had a cheaper model previously, but the Ice design is far better quality, very well designed and incredibly comfortable to ride. Superior in every way. My only complaint is that I need more battery because when I go out, I just want to keep going further each time: Through woodland, rough tracks, over Welsh mountains the Ice Adventure just keeps on going.

My wife, a disabled lady, bought one of these Ice adventure trike. My first thoughts on these trike's were, nice bikes, tailored for the disabled people to go out on lovely rides together.
Then, as a retired engineer and a bike rider myself, I took a good look at her trike, when we got it home.

I found the front left hand side of the cable brake caliper rode to high on the 160 rotor, to be any use. It will need another rotor bracket of no rake, to insure the pads use their full depth on the rotor. That could have been a safety issue. No quality control then!

Also, any other parts for any of these trike's, in my mind, are stupidly over priced, for what they are made from and there use.

Again, a company exploiting the disable people, from enjoying the benefits, that normal every day people enjoy. As for the bike build, they need good trained staff to fulfil orders to a safety standard, before they deliver them to there customers.

I love my ICE Adventure trike. It is such fun, well made and backed by excellent support from ICE and Saddle Safari, my local ICE dealer. my 11 year old son loves it too! Highly recommended.

My 2018 ICE Adventure with rear suspension has been misery. The frame functions well, the components have failed. In less than 1 year, the rear wheel disintegrated as 6 spokes snapped at the nipples and the remainder of the nipples were frozen to the rim. The seat mesh disintegrated. The shifting cable snapped. The rear derailleur hanger bracket broke clean. The sidepod zippers oxidized and froze. The trike is taken out in fine weather and housed in the garage. Having ridden bicycles for 50 years, 5000 miles per year, I never had so many problems in such a short time, not even close. Their customer service is poor too as it took 4 months for the vendor and ICE to agree to replace the rear wheel. Thumbs way down.

An excellent company to do business with.
Their trikes are beautifully made and great to ride and the after sales support is marvellous too.
If you're thinking of buying a recumbent trike look no further. ICE is the make to choose. Not the cheapest option, but you get what you pay for and they are built to last.

The folks at ICE trike always go the second mile to make sure the orders are correct and that any questions we have are answered. We have had a few dealings with ICE, they have bent over backwards to help us and we are most impressed. On top of that they have the best trike shipment system in the world and their trikes are top quality. Well done ICE.

I bought my first trike, a Sprint FS 26, 2.5 years and 9.8K miles ago. Every time I ride it, the reasons why I like it continue to surface from my inner child that had been silenced to consciously understanding what "fun" is.
