Terrible company

Bus was more than one hour late and the company did not provide any updates or inform us in any way about the delay. We almost missed our flight.
The driver then said that they will refund everyones tickets. I've been sending them messages and email for 3 weeks regarding the refund and never heard back.

Avoid!!

I booked a trip with ouibus from Lyon to Paris. I arrived about 10 minutes early for a departure at 4:45. After waiting for an hour thinking the bus was late, I realized I could check the website to see whether or not buses are on schedule. It turned out the bus had left 15 minutes early, without me. I can't believe that a bus would leave before it's departure time without having all of its passengers on it. I've emailed the company about it 3 times now and have not received any acknowledgement whatsoever, so now I just want to warn others of this. I would seriously recommend avoiding this company.

I always travel from Brussels to…

I always travel from Brussels to Rotterdam and the bus is always 30 mins to an hour late for departure. Then it randomly takes a 30 minute break at a gas station, so a 2.5 hr ride turns into 4 hrs. Nice! Not reliable at all.

I found my trip to Amsterdam from…

I found my trip to Amsterdam from London extremely uncomfortable. This was mainly due to water dripping - likely from the air conditioning - above my seat. It dripped for about 3 hours on and off and made my clothes damp and also my blanket. This was really annoying and happened during the night travel so it was uncomfortable to sleep.
Also I want to mention the toilet on the return journey from Amsterdam to London. The door lock was showing occupied when it wasn't causing confusion and there was only half a toilet roll for the start of the journey for the whole coach.
Also the drivers both ways were really unhelpful.
This first driver only spoke softly to the front of the coach not to the back which made it difficult to understand what was going on. We asked information about timings on the ferry but he said he didn't know. At the end of the trip he used the microphone to say we had arrived in amsterdam.
This trip was uninformative. Some people like myself would have liked to be informed of what was going on every time a stop was made. It's polite and also makes the journey better.
The driver on the way back from Amsterdam arrived late. Then we continued to be delayed and missed our Euro tunnel connection which worried a lot of people. Because we didn't know what time we were going to arrive in the UK. Turns out we were about 45-60 minutes late to arrive in London. The driver did apologise but again he was very uninformative. Seems like your 'captain's aren't really bothered about customer service - doesn't matter if it's a budget coach company.

At least we got to our destinations.

I am unhappy with this experience and will not be travelling with them again.

absolutely terrible

Did not even inform anyone when they got to the train station, I was waiting in the line but the line was also going to there Paris bus (which was delayed over an hour that’s why it was so confusing having them in our line) had to talk to the Paris driver just to see what was going on, the driver didn’t want to help me at all and the other guy would not take any responsibility for the businesses mistake and said we couldn’t get a refund and had to book another one online. I’ve emailed them now with the drivers name but nothing has been chased up as I am sitting here on the next couch A DAY LATER because I couldn’t get on any other ones. Horrible service.

DON'T DO IT!

You will regret it if you do...

From Toulouse to Lourdes the bus driver asked everyone to leave the bus 1.5 hours before arriving to destination. Most passengers foreigners and could not communicate well in French. He said it was Lourdes and insisted we get off! It was not Lourdes and even the people at that bus station told us that always happens with Ouibus.

I hope they go bankrupt soon!

Paris to londond

Paris to londond. Without wifi . Bathroom very DIRTY of the previous journey.
And the worst thing... WE were 4 Passengers in the UK CUSTOM OFFICE AND THE BUS WENT AWAY!!!
THEY LEFTED US ! YES !
THE POLICE PHONED EUROTUNNEL CARS AND the BUS DRIVER
AND 50 MINUTES LATER WE CATCHED AGAIN THAT BUS.

Ouibus from Lille to London, never again

I travelled with Ouibus from Lille to London in April 2018. We waited 2h in Lille because of a technical problem. A "rescue" bus finally arrived and took us to Calais where we had to wait another 3h before a bus from National Express finally arrived to pick us up and cross the channel. The drivers were not rude, they just tried to do their job, this was not the problem in my case. The massive problem is we were supposed to arrive in London at 21h and we arrived at 2h in the morning. The driver from National Express gave us an incident number and ensure us we will get compensations. When I called National Express they told me that because I bought the tickets through Ouibus.com I had to deal with them directly and when I claimed compensation with Ouibus they just told me they don't give compensation as long as we get from point A to point B no matter the delay. I explained National Express did give compensation for the same service to the customers who booked with them. But the answer was the same: no refund, no compensation for delays, even though it's double the time we were supposed to be in the bus!!!! Horrible experience with customer service!

No problems

We went from Amsterdam to Antwerp for 20 euro´s, which is like nothing, and we had no problems at all. The bus arrived on time, the bus was great, we could charge our phones and just chill. We also arrived on time in Antwerp. When we went back to Amsterdam the bus was also on time and we even arrived earlier than expected in Amsterdam.

BEWARE

BEWARE! Where do I start.. The driver we just got on board with was abusive and horrible to the passengers. He was very rude and started screaming at his passenger who was waiting for his wife to make it to the bus. He wanted to depart 3 mins before departure and refused to wait for the passenger’s wife. Yelling and screaming “I don’t need to wait for your wife, why should I?” Horrible, disrespectful and appalling. Terrible company, especially seeing on their website “Our Ouibus captains will take good care of you from the moment you board to the moment you arrive at your destination.. Enjoy their attentiveness. Our captains are 'people people' who love to make you feel welcome.”
No smiles, no friendly civil way of speaking with customers, absolutely disgusting. On our journey the Toilet was also not working. Driver yelled out to the passengers to not use the toilet unless “it’s an absolute emergency, as there is no flush”. Wifi breaking out. Seriously disgraceful. The driver also lied to another customer saying they’re not allowed to eat, and made them throw out their pizza which they had just bought- yet there were food trays at the back of seats with cup holders????? Another sad incident early on involved a frail old lady who was struggling to pack her luggage away in the boot- she was not even offered a helping hand by the bus driver (he was literally just standing there cms away from her watching her almost collapse). He did not even care to even open a new trunk with adequate space as the one that was open was already almost full. Another passenger ended up helping out the poor lady. Horrendous bus driver, and bus service from hell. It’s just unacceptable, don’t travel with this company unless you want to be insulted, disrespected, and want to risk rupturing your bladder, avoid this company like a plague.

The bus just did not come

The bus just did not come! how is this possible?! direction Rotterdam-Brussel, date May 20, 2018 11:30, route #6616. A letter arrived with seats, and the bus itself did not arrive, eventually lost 24 euros! Never buy an ouibus! We waited until 14:35, that is 3 hours and the bus was not there, had to buy tickets of another company.

horrible bus services and awful customer service

Since Ouibus offers interesting prices for trips around Europe, I thought I could try going on one. That decision cost me a lot of stress; definitely not worth it!
The bus was an old tour bus and offered none of the promised facilities: no toilet (!), no sockets, no USB ports, no wifi, no leg space. That's not okay when you're on a bus for hours.
Personally, I had a very unpleasant trip because of the fact that there was no toilet. With a dead phone I had extra time to stress about the absence of this facility, not fun. The combination of these things made me send complaints to Ouibus.
I've tried to contact customer service about the lack of the promised facilities for several times, but I still haven't received a decent apology or compensation. Horrible.

How on earth is this company still functioning?

We were on a later ferry crossing than expected. There was an hour and a half wait before we got to board the ferry
After the ferry crossing we were unable to leave the ferry as the bus would not start
The driver tried contacting Oui Bus for help. This was about 4am in the morning and no one was answering his calls. There was no contingency plan for this kind of circumstance
Calais ferry staff sat us in a reception type room until another Oui Bus (another service with other passengers on it, going on a different route to us) at about 5.30am turned up and we were told to board this bus. We were meant to be in Amsterdam at 8am and we hadn’t even left France yet
We were taken all over brussels (picked up even more passengers who had also had their bus cancelled?!?) and did not reach Amsterdam until around 2.30pm. Therefore we missed our event. The entire reason we were travelling
What was meant to be our final night in Amsterdam, an hour and a half before we were due to depart, you sneakily emailed and cancelled our return journey entirely with no alternative arrangements
We tried to call, took over 20 minutes to speak to someone, which I have now found out I will be charged for
The member of staff on the phone did not apologise. We were told to ‘do whatever you like’ that evening regarding a place to sleep. We were put on a later bus the next day. We were all meant to be at work 9am Monday. But got to London 5pm Monday evening.
I also contacted you within an hour of leaving the coach after the arrival back in London about my sleeping bag which I had left on the coach. I’ve not heard anything from you so presume you did not look. It was left on the overhead shelf on the bus. So I am unsure of how it hasn’t been found.
There is nowhere on the website where I can complain about this.

What a worst experience i ever had in…

What a worst experience i ever had in my life time. I booked a ticket from Coventry to Amsterdam in National express...and National express has a tie up with OUI bus service and thinking of National express service I thought the service of OUI bus would be decent. I was 1 hour before the departure time to the coach station and waited for the bus to arrive..but just that time was passing and there was no sign of this Bus showing up on the platform...just that the station people were trying to figure out this bus whereabouts and they were unable to track this bus as well. There is no proper communication neither a customer care number to call...after waiting for almost 3 hours i need to return back at late at night.

Please please avoid this bus and dont be stranded out in an unknown country and if travelling with kids..dont think about this bus at all...i hope Flix bus is far better than this...even though they delay few minutes, the update process is good.

I had booked this bus for short trip…

I had booked this bus for short trip from Amsterdam to London.
The bus was scheduled depart from Amsterdam at 21:00 and all passengers was advised aririve 1 hour before departure, the bus showed up at 21:35 and no explanation was given.
The return from London departed on time however driver missed the ferry which caused 3 more hours delay.
Just one peace of advice: Avoid this bus at any cost

Worst customer service

One would expect that an international bus service provider would extend the basic courtesy of letting passengers know of bus stop changes - but not Ouibus.
I had booked a bus from Antwerp to London last weekend and received an email a day before the departure that said the bus stop had been changed from what was originally stated, since they anticipated that the Antwerp marathon that was to take place the next day could cause some sort of delays to the journey. So I promptly arrived at the stated location at 10:10 pm for a bus that was to depart at 10:45 pm - I immediately realised something was off since the place was deserted, save for a few trucks that had been parked there. The area wasn't exactly buzzing with activity. I tried calling customer care and only got a response after a long wait, and they told me the bus was scheduled to depart from the original bus stop! How is a passenger expected to know this change without there being any sort of attempt to communicate this? No follow up email was sent, no calls were made, no message was sent, there was absolutely no way one could be expected to know of the change. I demanded that the bus driver pick me up from where I was since I couldn't have made it to the original bus stop in enough time. I am completely appalled by this apathy. It seems likely that the bus would have just made its way without me if I hadn't called customer service. It was a particularly terrible experience as I was a solo traveller, this was quite late at night in a foreign country and I had to be back at London for work the next day. All in all, just want to let you guys know how disappointing the whole experience was, and this is one of the reasons I'll probably never take a coach service again, with Ouibus or any other company.

Two abysmal experiences in a row.

First time we waited at the gate (we were early) and we saw the bus pull up. We waited for a boarding call that never came for thirty minutes. The bus then drove away and their customer service department said nothing could be done because we booked through national express. Let me be clear: nobody came into the crowded room and shouted our bus number was boarding, and no loudspeaker announcement was made. Apparently I was just supposed to run out onto the tarmac if I wanted to get on the bus.

Second time, just moments ago, spurring this bad review, they cancelled our bus two hours before it was scheduled to depart with no explanation. They said to call customer service if we want to take another bus, but get this: customer service magically isn't open on sundays. So someone could send me an email saying it was cancelled but nobody is available to respond to my questions about it. The customer service line also charges by the minute and the only other way to get in touch is submitting an online complaint. I'd be shocked if I even got a refund because they shirked their responsibilities last time I asked for one.

Bus did not arrive.

Bus did not arrive. I booked a return trip to Paris from Dover. The bus was supposed to collect me at Dover at 22.05 hours but by 23.55 had not arrived so I returned home. No explanation given and no support staff on hand to advise me. Tried to call them to find out what had gone wrong but tel number not connecting. In short an appalling service and one I would not recommend. Furthermore the previous Ouibus which arrived which was going to Amsterdam had a driver who could barely speak English, was miserable in attitude and was not wearing the proper uniform. Totally different to what is shown on their website. Also the people on the bus looked really dodgy. In short Ouibus is a total con. Don't ever use them.
