Ordered a comfy desk

Ordered a comfy desk. Easy transaction & delivery fairly quick. That is where the good review ends. Once opened the desk was cheap plastic with one part missing and faulty leg. Packed it back up & requested refund. They responded within three days and sent me a returns form. So far so good. Returned item as requested. Never heard anything from them, no refund. Baring in mind I returned item at beginning of July and I had to chase and chase and chase numerous times. No response via email to any of my enquiries as to where refund was. Sent final email letting them know that if they did not refund me ASAP that I would pass it on to my credit card company as a dispute and let them deal with it. No response, nothing. I received an email yesterday (7 October) out of the blue informing me I had been refunded!! Shock horror. Checked credit card statement. No refund. Not shocked. Hopefully this will appear in the next day or two.
Avoid company at all costs. The communication is absolutely abysmal if you want to return anything. It’s not worth it.

Price comparison website Idealo is awesome for getting the best bang for your buck.
To be hones, not every time I'm able to find best price there, but for most of the electronics - iPad, Dell monitors, live stream camera, etc. is much better choice than Amazon and eBay.

Don’t waste time to order from this company.

I would not even offer 1 star to this company. I had a very bad experience with them. I was suppose to receive my product in 10-20 days, I emailed them to check on the status since I was receiving no updates about when I would receive it. I got a response to my email saying that I should receive it in 10 days, but the next day I received another email saying that I will receive it in 4 months. Funny thing. This company needs a better management, in 2020 they can’t expect people to wait 4 months for their order. Anyway, I reply saying that I don’t want to wait that long , so they canceled my order. I waisted a lot of time to order and receive my product and It is a very big disappointment to see that a company does nothing to make their customers happy.
Anyway, don’t use this company!! Not serious! Thanks

Dreadful

At the start of lockdown I ordered a laptop stand to help me work at home. It took ages to arrive and was flimsy and not suitable for use. I asked for a refund and was told I would have to post it to China (at my own expense) and provide a tracking number. I did all this in May and have still heard nothing - my emails and messages do not get any responses.

I think I’ve been scammed and I am angry, disappointed and hugely out of pocket.

My advice to others is: AVOID.

I have had a similar experience with…

I have had a similar experience with this company to everyone else it seems. Wish I had seen these reveiws first before purchasing.
I wanted to return a laptop table, but they said it would need to be retuned to china.
I asked for them to give me dimensions and weights of the package they sent as I didn't even open it because I knew I no longer needed it before it got to me. And I emailed them back everyday for a couple of weeks with no response. They are just ignoring me.
Please no one waste your time or money on their products!

Don't waste your money, go elsewhere.

Absolute disgrace of a company avoid at all costs. My wife bought a stand for a laptop at significant cost it should be said, it arrived damaged and the box in tatters. We have tried to contact the company via multiple platforms and have had no response whatsoever. They are an absolute disgrace in terms of a retailer and should be hung out to dry for their abysmal customer service. This is evident from the majority of their reviews being horrendous.

SCAMMERS!

Terrible experience with idealoshop. We bought a portable desk from them for £49.99 and when we received it we was shocked at the quality of the product. We contacted them and wanted to return the item for a full refund as one of the legs on the table wasn't even secured properly. They said we had to post back to CHINA and we would have to pay for the cost. Firstly I didn't buy this product from China so why do we now have to send it back to China. I know if I did post this back they'd more than likely do nothing and I'd get no refund so i'd be out an extra £15-£20. If you're thinking about buying from this company just don't bother. They are nothing short of scam artist that sell in the UK but operate out of China. Wish I bought on my credit card so then they could have dealt with these scammers.

Wrong colour desk, no response to rectify

I purchased a comfy desk for my husband in black, when it arrived the label on the box said black but I’ve opened it up and it’s hot pink/red. I have emailed and messaged to get the correct item sent out to me but haven’t heard a thing back. Really disappointed, can’t give this as a birthday present as planned.

The site is clickbait. I was searching for a specific pair of binoculars, Idealo came up with a price but when I followed the link to the Idealo website the price increased by over 10%, equal to £49.
It's just false advertising.

First of all

First of all, all the phone number to contact customer support for IDEALO are not working. Secondly, after placing an order through idealo (Ebay seller), it took longer than expected to receive it and it turned out to be a totally different item than the one I have purchased. A lot of wasted money and I cannot even reach the company which has processed the sale!!!!! Super unhappy!!!

BAD EXPERIENCE buying Smartphone Xiaomi Mi A2 LITE

Extremely disappointed with IDEALO service.
We specifically ordered the product with them as they promise 1-2 days delivery time. The device finally arrived yesterday, late afternoon. I.e. over 7 days after payment.
In addition, when we reached out to you, IDEALO did not always answered and provided no solution/compensation for the mismatch in your advertise delivering times.
