Foul Play and Harrasment by the employees
I am a Wealth customer, and there are a series of events. The staff is very unhelpful, unprofessional. I approached the bank for a loan takeover and at the time of disbursement the staff calls in to inform they have increased the lending rates, dishonest and unethical bank and while there are no changes in the RBI repo rate.
Banks are aware that RBI repo rates will come down so having increased the rate will increase the profit margin.... i will take the matter with banking ombudsman and if not satisfied i will further take to consumer court. Also end my banking with IDFC.

Now i'm happy to became idfc family Previous- 4/15/2024(The first time they Offered me an LTF Rupay Credit card No Documents were Required is good. The verification process by the agent did not Verify the home address, so was rejected.)

Being harassed to get a car loan
Applied for a car loan as my previous car got stolen. I was okay with everything all the verifications all the documents even physical verifications, but now what they need is FIR of my stolen car with the Pan card and Adhaar card of my dad where as car is going to be on my name and even the loan. I told the credit manager Tushar Sri why do you need it, to which he bluntly replied if you need loan we require these documents. Really!! I want to purchase a new car and the questions I get from the bank is you just took a car last year why would you need another car this soon? What does your dad do we need his details (Pan card/Adhaar card) to check whether he is a defaulter or not (To a surprise my father do have his account with your bank and that also our firms account)? FIR copy of my stolen car?
How does this even make sense? I have a great Cibil Score, I had a car loan which got closed in 2022 and now I have a car loan from year 2023 for which I'm paying the EMI without any delays. Why do you require these information's when I have provided all the documents which are necessary and even proper physical verification has been done for my Home and My Office.
I guess it's a huge mistake we have even opened our firms account with you. Thank you for not being helpful at all. Cheers IDFC

Credit card video KYC process
I opted for IDFC first credit card since I could see many online shopping has offer for IDFC credit card including bookmyshow movie tickets. The application process was good, it captures all personal details online and then a video KYC was arranged where the problem starts. Their portal link kicks you out of video KYC number of times so agent could not connect. Finally when agent connected after technical hiccups including audit not working from agents end, she checked PAN card and then look for hologram on card that was scratched for me since my PAN card is very old. They could not proceed due to that and asked for physical verication including biometric. I connected the video KYC using my aadhar card and now they want biometric manually. I could sense something not right about this KYC and I said thank you but not interested in IDFC card. In short, they took all personal details , got my PAN details and then wanted biometric and not sure what things could be next. NOT A TRANSPARENT process from IDFC bank. AVOID.

Incredible Incompetence
I am astounded by this bank’s amazing lack of professionalism and incompetence. Having started a process of applying for an account 2 months ago, I am no further forward. Clearly, as much as Modi ji progresses the country, some people and organisations remain entrenched in mediocrity.
I write this to save many of you the time and effort in engaging with this bank. I apologise if all the employees of this bank are not in the same category of Shivaraj Shetty and Anshul Daga.
I can verify all of the above with the numerous emails and texts I sent. Trustpilot, hopefully, does not view this against their guidelines (as it is not) or side with big industry.

I own a saving account with IDFC first Bank. Their zero fee banking initiative is really great. I had some queries regarding this and I visited their branch get to get clarification. The relationship manager was very helpful and helped me with all my queries.

If there are less than one star this Idfc bank deserves them. This bank is a fraud and scam only. Opened a new account and deposited 30,000₹ and once they are deposited I can not use them and no one respond what to do. Their customer care is worst, no email id is there where one can send an email and ask any response. My money is stuck in this bank and would recommend others to never look to have any kind of transaction with Idfc bank in any situation as this bank is a total fraud and its customer services is fraud too. Talked to a person named Vikash Singh in its Car loan department for my car loan completed and asked them to send the NOC and he sent that to me to my email id and when I asked him if he can send this to my via post he started asking me why I need it by post when he had sent this to me by email. This bank and its employees are total a scam and fraud and never there to help the customers. Everyone please be aware from this bank as there is no email of this bank where you can get any help. It’s a total wastage in banking system of India, this bank is only a fraud.
