I am not surprised to see all the…

I am not surprised to see all the complaints. All businesses have has to be agile during COVID 19 to ensure they are serving their customers. From the complaints I have seen, they stopped paying out in May. They have continued to accept and sell jewelry since that time. I don't see any complaints from people who have purchased and not received their jewelry, so where is the money? I am also waiting on my check ($2,000) for a my diamond ring I sold in June 2020. I received an email confirming. I have talked to them and emailed with them. They promised me payment in August and have still kept dodging my requests for payment using COVID 19 as their reasoning. It is time to file a lawsuit against them. They are only withholding payment from people who are owed $2,000 or less because they know it's not worth the money to sue. It is even more important during this time to conduct business ethically. I am beyond disappointed - up until 2020 they had good reviews.

This company is a scam

I sold an engagement ring on their website for $4500 on Sept 2020 ($3600 after their expensive 20% fee). It’s now Dec and I still have not received my payment. I keep getting the same email stating that their office is closed whenever I email the payment department. I’ve emailed customer service as well but they keep referring me to the payment department. Their communication was good up until it’s time to pay the seller. Apparently there are so many complaints like this against this company. They already charge such big commission for very poor service and now they seem to be avoiding paying out the sellers. What a thief. I’ve escalated my issue with Better Business Bureau. Hopefully they can assist.

Sellers beware

We sold our ring at the end of August. I sent them the ring and I was told that I should get paid in October. Well, after many emails and the excuse that they have not been in the office since COVID started, they have stoped responding to my emails. Customer service will only forward your email to the payment center. This is crazy that they cannot get payments out on time. The last time that the payment center responded to me was that they could not provide a time frame that my payment would be sent out.

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE!!!!

I've sold a few items through this company in years prior and had an overall good experience until this summer. I sold a ring back in August and as of December, have not received any money for it. The company will not return any emails or answer their phone. Back in October, I received an automated message that due to the pandemic, things are taking longer than usual, but they are working as quickly as possible. Yeah right! 4 months and still no check? It sounds like this company is going under and stiffing a lot of people on money owed. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (with no response by Idnd) in hopes that as more and more complaints come in, that this website can be shut down so that no more people are scammed out of their valuables! If you are considering selling jewelry and thinking of using this site, please explore other options!!

No Stars!!!

I would give this company no stars if I could! I sold my wedding bands back in the spring! By the end of June I hadn’t received payment and emailed them, to which their response was I will be on the July payment. July came and went, and I’ve never received payment. I messaged again and said if they don’t pay me to send back my items. They are not returning any messages.
DO NOT USE THIS “COMPANY”!!!
I am very frustrated and have been counting on that payment for my items!

DO NOT SELL YOUR VALUABLE ITEMS HERE

DO NOT SELL YOUR VALUABLE ITEMS HERE! I sold an engagement ring set back in JUNE 2020 for $10,500.00 and still haven't been paid! They sold my set to someone, got paid and aren't paying me my money. Once they get your items you will never hear from them again! Tons of people having the same problem. Using COVID shut down as an excuse for not issuing checks but they can literally run every other aspect of their business except paying the sellers. Lawsuit coming, hope they are ready!

I do, now I don’t is a scam!

Do you not, I can’t say this loud enough sell jewelry through this shell company. I sold my ring almost a year ago and they have since stopped returning my emails. I guess they can only use the covid excuse for so long until they just stop. This company needs to be stopped, what can we do to bring this company down. Nothing makes my blood boil more than dishonest people. This whole entire company is a fraud. Should have figured since it’s out of New York, New York.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. My mom sold a ring, and hasn’t received the money. It has been 10 months. They use the COVID excuse as to why they can’t print checks, but have no problem selling rings. DONT USE THEM. Complaints have been filed.

Don’t use them unless you want to give away your jewelry!

I sold my diamond in September. I was told I was on the list for a check to be cut in November and low and behold! My check isn’t coming. They’re using COVID as an excuse to not pay sellers while they’re apparently not having any problems accepting jewelry or payments from buyers. They need to be shut down.

Update: I filed a complaint with the NY AG. I’d suggest everyone else who hasn’t gotten their money do the same.

Update: I filed another complaint with the FTC and was contacted by a woman with the USPS. She's investigating so I highly recommend anyone who's been scammed by this company also file a complaint with the FTC/USPS.

This company is a complete fraud

This company is a complete fraud. We "sold" a ring through their site, but payment never came after weeks and weeks. I phoned and was told I was speaking to an answering service, but the woman was the same woman I spoke to days earlier on my investigation call. Further, she admitted things that an answering service wouldn't know. Upon further pressure they agreed to send payment, which promptly arrived about 10 days later, but bounced (NSF). Any legit company wouldn't bounce a check for $600. Doing more investigation it appears our experience is common. Don't trust them.

RING SOLD MARCH- NOT PAID YET OCTOBER

I sold my $10,000 ring in March 2020. It is October and I still have not been paid. They use covid as excuse not to pay sellers but they are taking the money and not paying. I am sad to say I am going to contact attorney now and sue them.

Apparently a scam company - DO NOT!

Simply put, this company appears to be a scam. I sold an item through them in May, was supposed to be paid on July 15th, and have been ghosted. Read all reviews here and on the BBB website to find hundreds of similar stories of sellers never receiving payment.

Follow-up December 7, 2020. Still no payment or communication. I cannot stress enough that sellers considering this scam operation should list elsewhere. One has to wonder: with an unambiguous record of failing to pay sellers, who is actually listing items here right now? The answer would provide insights into how the scam works. Next stop: NY AG fraud complaint.

Seller Payments

My item sold at the end of April, and like many others I have yet to receive payment 6 months later. My item was sent to the buyer in May per the schedule, but yet they are somehow unable to print cheques for sellers... I do not recommend this business. DO NOT BUY from this company and support this completely non-ethical business practices.

I sold my ring back in June

I sold my ring back in June, and just like many here, have not received my payments, and have been ghosted by their horrible, irresponsible customer service. They have taken my ring, my buyer's money, and their commission. DO NOT SELL YOUR RING HERE unless you want to be out thousands of dollars months later.

I sold a ring on their site and should of been paid on 9/15/2020. I am now 2 weeks past due on my payment and no one has responded to my voicemails or Emails.

Be wary about getting your money. I know it’s not a lot but they should of advertised they were closing doors and not be cutting checks before I sent them the ring.

Poor Customer service it’s funny how they can cash the payments they are getting but can’t send out money.

I finally received an email saying they are trying to get a payment out at the end of the month. We'll see I'm not holding my breath.

SCAM company does not pay sellers

I like others have been conned by this fraud of a company who is not paying sellers and somehow getting away with it. I sold a ring on the marketplace in May and was due payment June 15. All I get are the same excuses: that because of COVID they cant print checks. Of course they are receiving jewelry, confirming, selling, and taking money from buyers just fine. It is disgusting what this company is doing. I only hope they receive the justice they deserve.

SCAM! DON'T SEND YOUR RING

I sold my ring a few months back and like many others here, never got paid. They sent the original email everyone else got "COVID bla...bla..." but they're not responding to any emails. I think the "buyers" are actual employees. Someone said contact NY attorney general? Anything else we can do besides hire an attorney? I have insurance on the ring but I doubt they'll cover something like this.
