I have used Richmond Chambers Immigration Barristers services to apply for EEA Permanent Residence Card and subsequently my naturalization as a British Citizen. Thomas Aitken was friendly, polite, professional and knowledgeable about UK immigration law. He put together a comprehensive and very detailed pack that speed up the case process time and result in both applications being successful. Thomas has provided an excellent service, I was impressed by his quick response to my emails and I would highly recommend his professional services for anyone looking for UK Immigration advise.

I've now twice used their services, provided by Paul Richmond and assisted by Lawrence Youssefian. They very comprehensively and professionally handled my change of visa under very tight timeframes. Alexis is the best barrister one could have asked for to represent them in dealing with the Home Office. I am a worrier and I can write a long email of panic to Alexis with crazy questions, yet he always responded in a calm manner with the reassurance I needed. He even answered my emails and text outside of working hours!!! And he was working on our paperwork during bank holiday !! I remember he was on holiday when we needed this important piece of statement send to the Home office in 5 days! His colleagues were trying to help us in his absence but I was still lost as did not know what to do. Next minute I know, he emailed me with clear and accurate instruction to write this statement. Thought this statement was done in less than 5 days, the quality of work still amazing and it turned out to be an important document which later made the home office changed their negative decision to a positive one!

A great, efficient and stress free experience, I would absolutely recommend using Richmond Chambers. After I submitted all my document online, Richmond Chambers provide a second lawyer check (a lawyer never deal with your case before and check case) which gives you double insurance about your case.

Mr Peter Blackwood write me a long cover letter printed with their headed paper which list all the relevant immigration law and according all these laws that I cannot be refused. He used the information I provided helped me to filled the application form, all my document was listed with tag with the same order of lawyers cover letter and every document were photocopied. He prepared everything in a nice and handy file case make very easy for me to take it to my appointment.

Now I feel very lucky that I chose the right barriers, I know typically premium service application take at least 3 hours for consideration, my case ONLY TOOK ONE HOUR and I believe this is the magic power of a barrister.

I applied in July 2015 for ILR - Long Residence route. My case was not overly complicated; however, it did require firm understanding of latest Immigration Acts. Before I found Richmond Chambers from Google, I called and requested assistance from some other law firms and chambers. All of them said my case had very slim chance of getting ILR without explaining to me why and how they are going represent me, making me even more panicked. I was represented By Alexis Slatter from Richmond Chambers and I was really impressed with how professional, knowledgeable and helpful he was. We had just seven days to respond to a question that the embassy had asked about our visa application. Thomas worked quickly. He met with me in two days where he displayed a deep understanding of the problem and the relevant legislation. I am very much happy and thankful to Mr. Paul Richmond and Ms. Lydia Watton. I have contacted Richmond Chambers after we won our appeal in First Tier tribunal for ILR but still Home Office granted us Limited Leave to Remain for 30 months by ignoring Immigration judge’s verdict. We were really very much confused and tensed. I approached Richmond Chambers and asked for an appointment with Mr. Paul Richmond. I have provided all required documents via email. Our first meeting last only for 15-20 mins but Mr. Richmond was well prepared and explained me in detailed all possible options. I was satisfied with his professional approach and the way he discussed all scenarios. We agreed that he will write letters to Home Office explaining their decision is incorrect and asked us to grant ILR. We didn’t receive any reply from the Home Office, so he explained me the procedure for Judicial Review. First we send Pre-Action protocol letter and asked Home Office to get back to us within 7 days or else we will go for judicial review proceedings. Again we haven’t receive any response from Home Office, so me and my wife were really very much nervous and decided not to go for judicial review though Mr. Richmond was very confident that our case will not go for full hearing but as said we were scared and as the procedure is very costly and lengthy; we have decided not to go further. But with all surprise, I have received a letter from Home Office that they are willing to look at our file again and within 3 days Home Office sent a letter to Mr. Richmond saying they have made mistake in determining Immigration judge’s decision and are happy to grant us ILR. This was really big relief for me and my family. This has become reality only because of kind of letters written by Mr. Richmond. Now, we have submitted our Biometric Cards to Richmond Chambers to send back to Home Office and waiting for new ones to come with ILR. I strongly recommend him for all Immigration related issues.

I came upon Richmond Chambers over 3 years ago when Paul Richmond returned my call [after office hours] to explore my application for leave to remain as I was about to enter into a civil partnership. It was not a straightforward case. Ergo, he gave me explicit advice to carefully select and prepare evidenciary documents that had to be presented to the Home Office in order to ensure a higher success rate of approval. He also quoted specific sections of the UK Immigration Law to justify the relevance of each document he included in my dossier on his covering letter. Surprisingly, my 2-year visa was granted after a 6-month wait.
