Poor product quality, poor warranty support

Ural is known as an iconic legendary Russian motorcycle. Unfortunately, it's also known as an inconsistently built and poorly supported machine. I have owned 2 Urals (and several drive shaft Hondas and a BMW). I have yet to wrap my mind around 2 things:
1. Why would a properly maintained 2016 Ural Gear Up's final drive with less than 2,000 miles leak oil to the point of critical failure in less than 5 months (while under the OEM warranty coverage). I never experienced anything like that with my 2009 Sahara Gear Up that I owned and maintained equally well for 2 years. I have never experienced anyhting like that with a Honda or a BMW.
2. More importantly, why would IMZ Ural / Irbit Motorworks Of America Inc not stand behind its warranty and replace the defective unit (final drive + driveshaft). They will also not release results of their lab tests (at least, according to their protective dealer in Plattsburg, NY).
$1,900 is just money. It's money I will no longer spend on Urals. Hope this was worth it to get a negative review from once a happy customer. Shame.
