Absolutely outstanding customer service from Indigo.

Unfortunately, the rental company we had booked with, SixT, suffered a nationwide systems failure and were unable to release any vehicles. It could have completely ruined our plans, as we were trying to get to a wedding in Scotland.

I called Indigo and they answered immediately. Rather than leaving us to sort it out ourselves, they stayed on the phone with us, explored every possible option, arranged an alternative hire, and didn't stop until we had a car and were on our way. This was late on a Friday afternoon, yet nothing felt rushed and we never felt like we were being passed from person to person.

Special thanks to Sam, who went above and beyond. Without his help, we genuinely wouldn't have made it to the wedding on time.

When things go smoothly, you don't always find out how good a company really is. It's when something goes wrong that great customer service shows itself, and Indigo were exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to book through them again.

Staff were incredibly helpful and sorted everything for me in no time at all. I needed a rental car but have lost my photocard licence. Staff at Indigo were able to find me a car for the next day with no hassle. I will definitely be recommending Indigo to my friends and family

I’ve used Indigo Car Hire a few times now, and I’ve always had a great experience. As a new driver, I can’t rent directly from many of the big car rental companies, but Indigo makes the whole process so easy. Their prices are really competitive, the customer service is always friendly and helpful, and I love that you can easily get in touch via WhatsApp, which makes everything so convenient. I’d definitely recommend them and will continue using them for future car rentals!

I was stuck today after arriving in Edinburgh Airport as Budget refused to give me the car due to 6 "expired" points on my licence. I then found indigo through Google search, I made request for call back. After 5 minutes maybe Matthew called and help me to rent the car through enterprise. I booked through Cherie and found her to be extremely helpful and quick to respond to any queries I had in the booking process. I also found Indigo car hire to be very competitive in pricing our car hire.

We had some last minute changes to both our pickup and drop off times due to flight changes and unexpected extended time to drop off that were accommodated for us very well through communication with Cherie.

We were very happy to have organised the Meet and Greet option after a long flight that allowed us easy transition from arrivals to being on the road and then for the car to be collected from our accommodation in London which made our hire process seamless.

Another unexpected bonus was a complimentary car upgrade which we appreciated and enjoyed!

Renting cars in Ireland for the elderly is more difficult than in main land Europe but Indigo always seem to have a sensible solution available. Additionally their highly personal approach reduces the amount of digital prep normally needed for simple reservations.

Have dealt with Sam on 2 separate occasions, and honestly he is and absolute credit to your company. Very helpful and got us a hire car from Manchester airport at a great price, with a very reasonable deposit. He is very professional, so friendly. Would highly recommend this company. Friendly helpful and gave me options that would work for me. It wasn't straight forward.

My experience was very good. Sam dealt with my booking very efficiently. He answered all my questions and kindly offered to assist if the car hire desk at Gatwick attempted to add any additional charges without full explanation - not unheard of.

Brilliant customer service.

I would highly recommend calling Indigo - I spoke to Jake and he gave me great advice regarding hiring a car in Italy. Last year we got stung with charges as we didn't have an 'embossed' credit card! These don't exist in the UK so felt like this was a bit of a scam. Jake has booked up our car hire so we can use a debit card for the deposit so this won't be an issue. He also provided advice on which insurance to take out which only cost me £3 a day which covers all the policy excess so you get back any claim payments - I would have paid significantly higher than this online.

I just hope all goes smoothly now next month for the car pick up!

Indigo are a fantastic hire car company that take away a lot of pain dealing with rental car services directly. They are available by phone or WhatsApp pretty much instantly for any problems. Sam in particular is excellent, they are my company of choice when booking car hire abroad.

We've been using Indigo for probably the past 8 years to hire our cars when we go to the States.
We started using them because they were able to source car hire companies who accepted debit cards. We've stuck with them for peace of mind.
We've never had an issue that they couldn't resolve QUICKLY, which is great when you're in a different time zone, 5 hours in the difference.
The agents we've dealt with have always been professional, friendly and efficient in their communication whether by email, Whatsapp or phone call. This time around, Sam was no different.
We could get cheaper car hire elsewhere, but the trade off is the lack of certainty and/or hidden costs on arrival at the pick up point.
So when it's a family holiday you want minimal stress and hassle involved.
Indigo pretty much guarantees that. I've worked in customer facing roles for over 30 years, and I appreciate professional service.

I live in new zealand and its been such an easy process being able to communicate with the time difference through what's app to make my booking. All information has been clear and helpful, highly reccomend!
