The same thing has happened to us for a…

The same thing has happened to us for a holiday in Los Angeles. We arrived at the apartment from UK with 2 children to be told at the door by the resident(!) that it wasn’t a holiday let!!
Meanwhile booking.com have been no help to resolve it. They just keep asking us to supply information which we have done multiple times.
2 months on and we are still waiting for a refund! 😡

FAKE agency via booking.com for Miami appartment

The company seems to be a fake, pretending to offer accomodations, i.e. rented apartments. The offering sounded super-exciting (Miami Oceanfront Oasis Condo with Stunning Views) with extremely attractive prices, though newly on booking.com and no ratings. I was reluctant to book but contacted the help center of booking.com that first confirmed the booking for 6 days was ok. I was prompted to enter my CC details though it was correctly listed in the booking.com website. The amount also was correctly charged. However, the error message that said unconfirmed was still showing up. I contacted what appeared as "Infinite" LLC. The guy answering ( Pierre Louis Musael ) assured me that this would be only a formality. Still I was not willing to provide my full CC details to them again, since the prompt window also seemed to be not from booking.com.
Though the booking was confirmed for 2 weeks, it was then cancelled, without any reason or message. No money was reimbursed from that agency.

HIGHLY WARNING to book any of these offerings ever.
