I was the winner of the Sri Lanka tour, and it honestly still feels surreal to say that. From the moment the trip started, everything was organised, welcoming, and completely stress‑free. Sri Lanka is one of those places that stays with you — the mix of culture, scenery, wildlife, and people made it feel special from day one.
The itinerary was full and gave me the chance to see so many sides of the country: Sigiriya at sunrise, the misty tea plantations, the coastline, the temples, the wildlife. Our guide was fantastic — knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely proud to share his country. It made the whole experience feel richer.
If I had one small piece of feedback, it’s that a little more downtime would have been perfect. Some days were quite long, and even an extra hour here or there to unwind would have made the pace feel a bit more balanced. But every day was filled with things worth seeing, so it’s hard to complain.
Winning this trip was such a gift. I came home with new memories, new appreciation for Sri Lanka, and a huge sense of gratitude. I’d happily recommend Inspiring Vacations to anyone wanting a well‑organised, meaningful travel experience.

I thought the original information on the website was easy to understand. There was good follow up on any questions I had and the ability for staff to see what had been previously discussed with other service team members saved a lot of time not having to repeat my questions. This is the 2nd holiday I have booked and hopefully the final holiday experience will match the booking experience.

Eye-catching 40% off deal led us to book this short holiday trip to the USA and Canada for 12 days, that saved us over $2,000 on the regular already-reduced price. Our questions concerning visa and ESTA requirements were quickly and expertly answered on the phone by Inspiring Vacations staff. The booking process was quick and easy online with a small deposit followed by full balance payment within a few days because of the closeness of our departure date in August.

Booking confirmation was delayed several days.
The tour is of good value, however
More transparency in the tour booking would be appreciated.

I am satisfied with the service of your team. They always answered to my call. They responded to my request positively. It was effectively projected in my mail. All the staff in the team were polite and helpful. The price I paid for this tour is remarkable with 40% discount . Thank you

The booking process was made very simple by speaking to Maddie on the phone. She was very thorough and happily answered my questions.

I liked everything about the tour to Peru and Ecuador, apart from the following:
1) We requested the full itinerary of the tour and flight details when we booked, and despite several subsequent requests for this, we only received the details much later (in the case of the Galapagos leg, just before we flew there;
2) The Galapagos leg specified that we could each take just one small bag on boat trips between islands. However, the trip between Santa Cruz and San Cristóbal was a boat trip, and so we were concerned about how we were going to get the rest of our luggage there, as we were not returning to Santa Cruz. I emailed Inspiring Vacations from Guayaquil the day before we were to fly to Santa Cruz and told them we were very concerned about this - and asked them to reply immediately.
All we got was an email saying they'd respond within 3 days. After 3 days, I sent a further email insisting on a reply - and to cut a long story short, we only received a response after we'd returned to Sydney, and that response was that they'd respond within 3 days!!
It's only today that I received a final reply, and there is still no valid reason why my enquiry was ignored for such an extended period!

With reference to my previous review. We have been in touch with one member of your Support team to no avail. Unfortunately, zero understanding, no acknowledgement of the mistakes that have been made and I am finding it difficult to get my questions answered.
I would appreciate talking to someone else. So would welcome a phone call or an email from IV.

I had to wait for sales to open or call
me back to purchase or inquire about tours. It took a couple days to get a call back.

This was an extremely well organised small group tour.

Would have like my help when we cancelled our trip. Also you don’t book with Princess Cruises and we only cruise Princess. Would have preferred money back in our account rather than a credit

The tour was well organised. We experienced an extensive trip through 3 islands & were introduced to not only the language but to a variety of cultural experiences. Accommodation was great & the tour guide Keiji was exceptional! Thank you Inspiring Vacations. This was my 3rd tour with this company & I have booked a 4th for 2027.

As a 82 year old, first time solo traveller I cannot fault the 13 day Inspired Sri Lanka Solo trip I have just completed. From the start I had reassurance that I was to be accompanied at all times, including my big worry of being picked up at the airport. Our guide, Khancana had so much information to share, from history, practices, products and every day life. A special experience with some challenges, physically, for some one with short legs and a bit of a breathing problem with heights....Horton Plains really tested me and I would not have been able to achieve this without such caring help from both the guide and one fellow tourist. New friends, Great experiences, More insight into many sujects.

Entry into my last voyage.
From the advert in the west australian to my first
conversation with Kate, I knew this was going to be
the voyage to Japan I had been waiting for.
A complete tour from top to bottom, with time each day to stop and see the place, taste the food &
meet the People.
My experience with the staff was jovial & informative,
& although I am well in my eighties I was able to
manage the computer requirements without the assistance of my grandies.
This may well be my last voyage, to which I am looking
Forward to with great anticipation, roll on Nov 2026.

We just came back from our "25 Day Inspiring South America with Santiago Small Group Tour".
During the tour, we found there was a big price discrepancy for the optional tour - Tango Dinner Show. We paid AUD 264 per personx2=AUD 528 before the trip; while some other people who didn't book/paid the show in advance were offered USD 95 per person for the same show. According to the exchange rate USD 95= AUD 132.18, while we paid AUD 264 per person, about DOUBLE the actual price. The difference for 2 persons we paid is about AUD 264 more. We noticed we paid more for the other optional tours as well, however they seemed not as much difference as this one. We contacted Inspiring Vacations after the trip and the Customer Success Specialist refused to do anything about the extreme high price of the Tango Show.
Your reply sounded pathetic. You don't think you have any responsibility for that? The travellers like us put all our trust on you believing you did your due diligence on selecting the proper supplier, not the supplier that rips-off customers. You have local contacts so you should know the market. Even if you go to the website, you would find the approximate price, you would know double price didn't seem right, no matter what. Stop blaming others!
