10 hours to Liverpool from Southampton

Bus left Southampton for Liverpool 1 1/2 hours late as 2 selfish people didn't tell the coach they would not be on it. Bus toilet stank. Had to wait 2 hours for a replacement driver as first one had exceeded her hours. Poor communication. 2nd driver very professional and kept us informed. Won't use this company again.

Waited in cold late coach

Waited in cold late coach, got settled next pick up we were made move from back as driver needed Bach isles and seats for luggage which is unsafe, he was quite rude and said he had 4 more pick up already crammed uncoftable coach, charge luxury price over£70 one way could got mega us or national express much cheaper more comfortable,helpful drivers won’t be using inter cruises again

Would not recommend

Would not recommend, not professional at all, totally confusing at boarding. We were separated from other family due to there being two coaches and us being put on different lists. The coach had zero leg room, more suited to local journeys not long haul. It had no Wi-Fi or plug points which more modern services have. We previously went to Southampton ourselves with Megabus/National Express, both services I reserved seats/hadwifi/plug points roomy seating, very clean and it was on time.
We had to change at Victoria but even with that it was a much more comfortable journey. If I had paid for the service with Intercruises and not had them as part of a select fare, I would be pursuing them for an extremely poor service. In fact, the journey from Southampton to Glasgow had one comfort stop, and my daughter had nowhere to change her babies nappies etc. I would advise to use this company only for convenience, but definitely not for comfort. Quite simply, if you use this service, be thankful if you end up with a modern coach. P&O need to be aware that this company does nothing to enhance their holiday reputation, as it is offered via them.

Poor return journey

We arrived back at Chester almost two hours late mainly due to the drivers (two for a six hour journey), more interested in stopping for more than was necessary than getting back on time. There were delays on the motorway but the drivers made little attempt to get us back in a reasonable time.We were dropped off in an unlit part of the parking area on a freezing night and people were struggling to find their cases.

Rude and so unprofessional

This was my first cruise and looked forward to it however I was absolutely mortified at the number of staff that seemed to be using their mobile phones.

It maybe that their phones are used for work during worktime (I dont think so as I one with facebook on their phone) but it looks unprofessional with some who were completely oblivious to their surroundings (RUDE).

Mobile phones during work should be banned - Bring back the radios.

its kind of interesting

its kind of interesting what intercruises do
intercruises seem to put out the journey to be made to different coach company's .we have travelled down to Southampton twice this year but actually been with 4 different coach company's . some company's are good some are not some company's coach's are just not comfortable for long journeys which seem very strange 0

Excellent help with locating our lost luggage

Arrived at Barcelona port at 7 a.m. after Royal Caribbean cruise, my dads luggage failed to appear on the baggage conveyor for us to claim. We had a flight for 10:50 at Barcelona airport. Staff members helped us try and locate the bag to no avail, for about 30 to 40 minutes they advised us to fill in a lost luggage claim and board the coach so we didn't miss our flight, but before I filed the claim, I noticed a bag which was so similar to my dads luggage it was uncanny they were group 1 like us and should have collected and been at the airport, so I took a picture of it with the luggage tag and went back to the customer service desk told them that we believed this person had taken our luggage by mistake as this was high probability as they should now be at the airport by now ( like we should have been ) . The customer services took a pic of my pic on their phone and then phoned ahead to the coach gave them the details from the luggage tag and were able to confirmed right there that passenger was already at the airport that they had taken the wrong bag and checked and confirmed that my dads bag was waiting for us at the airport. They told us to board the next coach to the airport where our bag would be waiting, sure enough when the coach dropped us off our bag was there ready for collection by our coach with the rest of the luggage. we even saw out the window the other guy get his correct luggage which they had loaded on to our coach. we got a call from the customer services to ask if we had received our bag, at the time we hadn't arrived, we did try and text bag once we collected our luggage but the text never sent. but thank you to everyone at inter cruises at the port and shuttle bus for helping us out and co-coordinating this and getting our bag back before we boarded our flight for the UK!! Brilliant service. coaches were frequent and we got in plenty of time for our flight despite the fact we should have been on the first shuttle out at 7:00 a.m, but ended leaving on the shuttle at 8:20 a.m. getting to us the airport just before 9 a.m. and re-uniting us with our bag. Excellent service when things went wrong, staff had a process and resolved it quickly.

Absolutely shocking coach no leg room

Absolutely shocking coach no leg room, cracks in windscreen, had to go into Leeds City centre to drop off customers from a different cruise which added an hour to an already long journey. Left Southampton 10.30am got to Newcastle 7pm. Luxury travel this is not, knees were up against the seat infront and no room for even a small bag. Travelled by coach many times this route but never again with intercruise (weardale) it was like a coach you went on school trips....exhausting trip home and next time back with Eavesway at least they own their own coaches

We travelled from Newcastle…

We travelled from Newcastle (Washington) to Southampton and back in August 2022 for a Princess cruise. The booking process was simple and communications were clear and timely. The Coach (Weardale Coaches) was waiting for us and was able to leave 20mins early. The driver was very friendly and kept us updated along the route. The coach was clean and comfortable with adequate legroom. The return journey was also with Weardale Coaches. There were two drivers so the journey back was slightly quicker. This is the 4th time we've used inter-cruises and would do so again.

Luxury coaches these are not!

Return trip North Wales to Southampton, luxury coaches these are not! Poor seats, little legroom, inoperable seat belts, no music no Wi-Fi. One stop in a 6.5 hr journey is unacceptable. Drivers with no personality and nothing in the way of journey updates. Never again!

No luxury coach!! A bloomin Party Bus!!

If I could give no stars I would. Absolutely terrible journey from Southampton to Woodhall. Bus provided was a party bus complete with lights, bar and tables! only thing missing was a pole dancing pole!!. This would have been great if you were 18 x on it for an hour consuming alcohol but as we had a 4 hour journey this was unacceptable!. No leg room whatsoever due to tables, no good if you don't like travelling backwards either as you had no choice if you wanted a seat! . Couldn't use seat belt due to restricted space, no overhead locker large enough to get a bag in. No covid rules provided or safety advice either. Air con did not work properly either. A very uncomfortable journey which aggrivated my back problem. Lots of unhappy passengers on coach....NOT GOOD ENOUGH INTERCRUISE!!

If I could give no stars I would appalling.

If I could give no stars I would this company is probably one of the worst I have encountered their customer service is appalling and so unhelpful. In addition they are forcing passengers to wear masks despite no legal requirement to do and make no allowances for medical issues. Use Eavesway they have their own coaches are not using third parties and speak to customers in a reasonable manner and mask wearing is a personal choice.

withholding my money and lying to me

cancelled my booking on 27th april and still waiting for money 31 days later. I have been lied to 3 times as every time I rang they say it had been done. today James said I was near the top of the list for refund. very bad attitude .Very poor customer service. they should not be holding my money and as a company they definitely should not lie to customers. Shame on PO, Cunard and Princess for using a firm like this

we got the travel via intercruises in with the deal for a p&o sailing
they no longer use evesway so it was outsourced to other companies which were fine.good journey down (apart from a34 being closed) return issue with lost luggage so driver went via toll road to speed up journey
will use them again

Having travelled with intercruise …

Having travelled with intercruise before the coaches have always been excellent standards not this TIME the coaches where DIRTY AND MUCH ROOM ON COACH THE DRIVER ALSO FAILED TO KEEP PEAPLE INFORMED ABOUT TRIP TIMING ETC CONSIDER PO RECOMMEND THEM THEY WHERE A LET DOWN

Extremely poor service

My husband and I travelled with inter cruise on March 19th from Leicester Forest East to Southampton . The bus driver said he did not want to see our negative LF tests( a requirement by inter cruises) , as we would be tested at the terminal . The driver did not wear a mask at any point during our six hour journey. We stopped 3 miles out of Southampton at a service station at approximately 2.30pm and an inter cruise lady got on our coach and proceeded to take our name and cabin number , but gave no reason or explanation as to why she was doing this . We were then told we could get off the coach and we would be told when we needed to get back on. Groups of inter cruise staff huddled together talking on the pavement , but did not interact with the public ( their customers)at all. The coach driver just said they weren’t ready for us at Southampton. We finally got on the coach again at approximately 3.45 pm and proceeded to Southampton. The whole experience was shambolic with inter cruises and we would not consider ever using them again.

Bad Journey…

When I first booked the coach for our journey to Southampton with INTERCRUISES, I enquired if the coach had two levels as my wife is disabled and had difficulty with stairs, I was assured
that they would be, but when we arrived at the coach to our dismay it was a National Express with only one upper level, not the comfortable coaches like Evesway that we have used before, and to top it all the first eight seats were taped across so my wife had to struggle to walk halfway down the coach, and the seat had very little room, not suitable for a journey of 5 hours, I will defiantly not use INTERCRIUSES again

We were booked on the Intercruise coach…

We were booked on the Intercruise coach that serves Princess cruises to take us to the Regal Princess from Hilton Service station in Staffordshire to Southampton

We had received a reminder that we had to do a covid test the day beforehand and bring proof that it was negative before we could board the coach. This we did.

When we got to the coach I asked the coach driver if he wanted to see our negative test results but he said not to bother. We were surprised to see that we hadn't been allocated seats and that the coach driver didn't wear a mask, since I understood that we should all wear masks for the journey unless eating or drinking.

We arrived at the port and took another test which was negative.

We got to our cabin, unpacked and was just about to go to the sail away party when the phone rang and we were told to pack because someone on our coach had tested positive for covid and we would have to leave the ship.

We were devastated, it had taken a long time for us to save for this cruise and we had booked it to celebrate my birthday on the 19 October. We had booked and paid for the speciality restaurant and the whole cruise experience had been much anticipated.

We were out on another coach and it was 17 hours after leaving home that we were returned to the Service station

We feel utterly deflated and disappointed.

All of this could have been avoided had Intercruises taken our safety seriously. Clearly this was not the case. The 2 people that had covid had sat at the front of the coach, my husband and I at the back. We had no interaction with them but obviously because of the companies lack of protocols this could not be proven.

We have since both had negative PCR tests. This is of very little comfort knowing that we could have been on our cruise now, rather than at home.
We have received a refund but no apology or response to my emails.
I will obviously never use Intercruises again

Absolutely unbelievable

After booking a staycation cruise I rang intercruises who confirmed that they were running coaches from Newcastle to Southampton for the dates I needed. After sorting out insurance I rang to book my seats. Only to be told by intercruises that p and o advised them not to run these coaches as they want everyone to arrive by car. After checking intercruises site again in case I was given wrong information. I discovered this morning that they are still advertising bookings for the dates I require. So I rang them to be told that I can't book.know. I asked why this was showing on their site that I could book when I can't. I was then told it was because they do not know if they are going to run them or not. ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE.

Rude, disinterested and charged me for the call!!

Extremely poor customer service and an absolute displeasure to call them. No enthusiasm or interest. Very blunt and rude. In fact it's laughable how depressing it is to speak to these people. On top of that, I got charged for the phone call to add insult to injury and no response to my on-line query challenging them on how I got charged to speak to these miserable people without being informed before hand. I found out by looking at my phone bill which I never do, but it was unusually high the month I called them to book the transfer. Paying thousands for the cruise but this experience is unacceptable and so it paying for the unfortunate need to speak to them.
