Don’t touch these!

I ordered ready made curtains from this company which they were unable to supply (out of stock and not available until early mid July) I received an e mail asking if I wished to wait or order an alternative I responded no & requested a refund there was no response. 2nd e mail no response.
2 phone calls I’m awaiting the promised refund.

Extremely disappointed

Extremely disappointed. Gave 1 star as it does not have option for zero. Ordered 11 blinds. Everything that could possibly go wrong has gone wrong. Dispatch later than advised when ordered. Delivery in three batches and absolute sham. Blind frames in different colours. Was told to send pictures, then videos. Asked for management contact details, not given. Perhaps rightly so, they should be ashamed to speak to customers after treating them like so.

I wouldn't recommend using this business.
Terrible customer service.
Scamming you to spend more money (by providing "discounts") to order new blinds to correct their mistake.
Placed an order for 2 blinds and after receiving the confirmation email of the order I have realised that there was a mistake in the width of the slat selected.
I have emailed back after 10 minutes to make them aware of the issue and also tried calling but being after 6pm it was outside their business hours. I would expect that direct contact can be made only during normal working hours. The next day after seeing that there was no response from their side I have done the due diligence and called to make sure they have received my message and the required corrections were made.
Tried the chat , tried the call but the customer service reps were unwilling to help rather than to offer a discount in order to make another order with the adjusted spec. They claim that the order is already in production and there is nothing else that they can do. I appreciate that it is extremely unlikely to have a UK based factory to start production that late in the day (we are talking after 6pm!).
Being aware how supply chain is working, I am sure you would have the means to get in contact with your factory and make sure they adjust the order.

Having read the T&C's I have realised that I am well within my rights as I have reached them immediately.
There is NO mention that this can't be done via email.

The dispatch time on the sample leaflet I have received stated that the dispatch time is 48h but after receiving the order confirmation was showing 10 days.
Well, this makes me believe that they are NOT actually made in the UK but possibly bought in from Binh Duong, Vietnam. This would be classed as false advertising.
Have asked to speak to a manager but they refused to transfer my call and said that I will have to wait another 48 hours to be contacted by someone.

a second curtain pole wrongly delivered

ordered a second curtain pole, but just as happened with the first order they used the wrong delivery address. I notified them as soon as I could but their attitude was that they could not notify the courier in time and since the item had then been delivered there was nothing they could do. Very disappointing customer service attitude

Poles apart from acceptable standards of service

26/02/2025 I placed an online order for a bog-standard order of a single item. Poles Direct aka Interior Goods Direct immediately confirmed the order and stated 'production process can start within one hour of you placing an order.'

It's now more than five weeks later and there has been zero action from Poles Direct. No communication except (sporadically) replies to my 'what's going on?' emails. No statement other than complete falsehoods about proposed delivery dates and about reasons for the delay.

I've got no problem with an order going wrong: could be easily remediated by communication, honesty, seller cancelling an order ... but in this case Poles Direct aka Interior Goods Direct has wasted a huge amount of my time by their monumental incompetence. ABSOLUTELY AVOID these timewasters.

When it’s good it’s very very good

The wooden poles ordered were not too thick or too thin, not too white or too cream (linen white), not too cheap or too expensive. In fact they are just right. Ordered on Friday and they arrived Monday - free postage. Well done! 👏

I am writing this review to confirm all…

I am writing this review to confirm all the other poor reviews.

My organisation a CIC ordered £1000 worth of blinds on the 25th May 2024. On the website it said it was in stock. On the 4th June I was contacted to say the blinds are not in a stock but would be available on the 5th July.

This was not an issue as these things happen. However on the 5th July there was no update. I contacted customer services on the 15th July and customer services stated they will chase up with production. Now another 12 days have passed and no update has been given. I expect a full refund with interest attached.

This kind of service is not acceptable at all. I would not dream of treating my clients in this way. I would avoid this company as either they are very incompetent or they are fraudulent.

Worst delivery ever

If you ever actually manage to get your blinds they will be the wrong colour. I ordered from Blinds Direct or Interior Goods Direct and officially the worst delivery process I have ever encountered. No wonder they allow 30 days to deliver, I would too if I were as incompetent as they are. Don't bother.

Read reviews before ordering

I ordered a curtain pole from Poles Direct but soon afterwards I decided that it would not be suitable for voiles. I sent an email cancelling the order and received an acknowledgement email by return. Despite this, the pole was dispatched over 24 hours later. I refused delivery and the pole was returned by the carrier. After several emails I finally received a refund but the original shipping costs of £4.95 had been deducted despite me cancelling the order before it had been dispatched. I am now going to raise a resolution with both PayPal and Resolver as this is now not just about the money......

Telling lies about delivery!

Order placed 12 days ago for next day delivery and still nothing. Their courier's website (Linear Logistics) remains unchanged at "Label Created" since 27th Feb. It is now 5th March.
On contacting the company, they informed me that delivery was attempted but not possible and that the blind has been returned to the factory and needs to be QC checked before they can re-try delivery.
The delivery address has a 24/7 porter and no delivery has been attempted. This is confirmed by the fact that the delivery company's website shows that the item hasn't moved.
Customer service like this is completely unacceptable

Cancelled after 5 mins but no refund

Placed custom order. Cancelled within 5 minutes. Will not refund as it's a custom order, even though delivery isn't for another 3 weeks and they haven't started creating the product. 5 minutes!!!

Waiting for resolution

So far this company has proved time and Time again to be totally useless in sorting out what seems to be a simple problem. I spent 386 pounds on a curtain pole which does not perform what it should do, it has now been a month nearly and I am no further with this problem, their customer service is totally unable to resolve the problem.
Waiting in hope for a telephone call today.

Go elsewhere or repent at leisure

Bought a curtain pole from poles direct which is the face of this business. Firstly don’t believe the colour of anything on the site as the near black, grey black, curtain pole arrived and it was more a white grey, in fact lighter than the lightest one they have online! Explained this to them and they asked for photographs and accepted it looked completely different online but explained that the online pics are merely “representative” of the product meaning it’s ok to send you something completely different from that advertised in terms of colour, many emails and phone calls later (despite them accepting it looked completely different) the pole went back and I got a refund (after several weeks) but they deduct £15 fee for collecting it so in essence you can order a black thing, receive a white thing and lose £15 and a stack of your time and there is nothing you can do about it. I guess I just paid £15 to learn the lesson, the lesson being never to go near this company ever again, misrepresentation and very poor service indeed. Spend your money elsewhere would be the only advice I can give based on this experience

My order arrived damaged

My order arrived damaged ( carriers fault - package was badly bashed on one end). Having sent in photos of the damaged blind & packaging Monika, in the customer services team, arranged for a new blind to be made and dispatched. I didn't even need to go to the trouble of sending the damaged blind back. This has all been dealt with swiftly & efficiently- who could ask for anything more?

AVOID THIS COMPANY

AVOID THIS COMPANY. Ordered blinds for my new house over 15 working days ago. Dispatch estimate was 7-10 working days. No sign of the blinds. Customer service when you phone up is worse than useless - they can’t tell me anything, even whether or not my blinds have been made yet. Today, I couldn’t get any answer on the phone at all. Of course, they took my hundreds of pounds from my account on the day I placed the order! I have a new house my children can’t sleep in yet because we are waiting for these blinds. I’m so disappointed and warn everyone off this company.

Avoid this company

Ordered 4 blinds they arrived with missing parts. After waiting nearly 5 weeks on the blinds I had to wait a further 2 weeks on the missing parts. When I put the blinds up and rolled it down there was damage to the fabric on 2 of the blinds. Trying to get these remade but 2 weeks in and nothing. Customer service are unhelpful and don't follow up. A joke of a company avoid at all costs
