I had a great time getting to know all the people at Archipelagos and felt like I really learned a lot. The crew was amazing, and the environment on Samos is lovely. Truly a summer well spent!

I completed a journalism internship in Rabat, Morocco over the summer, and it was a truly rewarding experience. I gained valuable skills and insights from the placement, and the support I received throughout was excellent. The contacts at Intern Abroad HQ were fantastic, the team at MCAS Arabic was incredibly helpful, and the staff at Morocco World News were outstanding. I would highly recommend this program to anyone considering applying an internship with this company promises to be a truly enriching experience.

I can feel the devotion that they have for the things that they do. It was an incredibly pleasant experience working with my coordinator and fellow intern. The team flexed around my timezone without hesitation. Whenever I had a question, the support was clear and helpful. Their positive attitude was contagious and truly inspired me to give my best for the same cost.

I loved my experience in Cape Town. Intern Abroad HQ never made me feel uncertain about what I could expect and I know there was always someone I could reach out to with any questions/ if anything came up. This doesn't only include the time pre-departure, but also in country, as well as afterwards. I always felt like I was prepared well and had everything I needed to have the best experience. The local team was also great and really helped Everyone to feel comfortable and supported. I would recommend Intern Abroad HQ/ Masambeni over and over again for this incredible opportunity that definitely changed my perspective on the world, be more informed and understanding of other people, their culture as well as their history. Anyone interested in a program like this should definitely be open-minded. Inform yourself about the place you're wanting to experience beforehand and know that there will be challenges, but none that you cannot overcome. There's a lot of support available and a good common sense will already serve you so well!

I worked at a legal internship in NYC and it was the most amazing time. I stayed in a studio apartment by myself in West Harlem in a very homey neighborhood, and was even allowed to bring my emotional support cat! Marc was incredibly helpful in organizing everything for me and finding me an internship and housing they were perfect. The internship itself was amazing! It was exactly what I was hoping for! I got real experience working directly with an attorney and was able to do work on meaningful projects that affected individual’s lives. Could not recommend enough!

It was very educational. I learned the relevant concepts to international law and climate change in depth before I helped out my coordinator with his project, which was very beneficial since I had a deep understanding. Overall it was a great experience that will help me greatly moving forward.

They were very organized and so helpful! I felt very safe the entire time and was accommodated for all my needs on my first solo travel!

My experience with Intern Abroad in Córdoba was an amazing cultural and developmental experience! Carlos, Yuyin, Charly, and Tita are an incredible team and clearly had our best interests at heart. My Spanish improved dramatically, and I made really genuine connections with fellow interns and Cordobeses almost without trying. I'd highly recommend pursuing this program for your internship!

I am very satisfied with my experience with Intern Abroad HQ. It was everything I was looking for in an international internship program. I believe Intern Abroad HQ and my local team worked very well together to create a streamlined experience. With Intern Abroad, I felt very comfortable with all the logistics leading up to my start date. Questions and concerns were always addressed with kindness and detail (Shoutout to Program Manager, Sarah who was super helpful and responsive either by email or setting up a call). The active checklist guide on my online portal was very helpful in keeping me on track for everything I needed to get done before my start date. Once I got to Valencia, my local team handled everything with care and professionalism. The arranged excursions were fun and provided opportunities to meet more people. The only thing I would have liked to have was a better idea of my placement schedule beforehand. This is pretty specific to the fact that I interned in August, which I knew is a slower work time of the year in Spain, but I still went as this was the only time that fit my schedule. Knowing this, I wish the local team coordinated with my placement to see what the schedule/workload is, and accommodate accordingly. I didn’t need details down to the hour, but a general idea of my daily/weekly schedule. With that being said, I did bring this to their attention in Valencia and they were very open to having this conversation. I always felt that I could voice my concerns and they were met with understanding and willingness to adapt. It all worked out in the end and I honestly have no complaints. This was a wonderful experience and if I am ever looking for another international internship, I know who to contact. Other big aspects like social and host family I could write an essay on how great it was, but just know it exceeded my expectations. I've made bonds with new friends all around the world and was immersed into a culture like never before. The quality time spent outside of work with other interns are memories I'll cherish forever. What I enjoyed most about the remote Clinical Psychology internship was how it became a meaningful part of my weekly routine. Every Saturday morning, watching the sunrise and joining the sessions provided both mental stimulation and a sense of purpose. The structure—from introductions to ongoing check-ins and the final review—made learning feel natural and engaging. The content was extremely useful, generously shared, and covered updated and practical topics applicable to future work in psychology. I learned to integrate knowledge into practice, consider multiple perspectives, respect cultural differences, and work effectively with patients as well as their families or support systems. The internship strengthened my professionalism, empathy, confidentiality, organisational skills, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability, contributing significantly to my personal and professional growth. What made this experience truly exceptional was my supervisor. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable and detail-oriented but also genuinely passionate about teaching and supporting her students. Her positive attitude, warmth, and encouragement created a judgment-free environment where I always felt comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. My supervisor challenged my inner blockages, inspired me to push beyond my limits, and made learning enjoyable even during intense or serious work. Over time, I came to see her as both a mentor and a friend, whose guidance and energy profoundly shaped my growth and deepened my passion for psychology.

From the very beginning, the agency was helpful, promptly answered all my questions, and was open to assisting me in every way. Upon arriving in Córdoba, I appreciated their cooperation with several local agencies, such as ONIX Intercambio Cultural, which improved our understanding of cultural adaptation, enhanced our language skills in both colloquial and professional vocabulary, and were also willing to accommodate our requests regarding medical internships—for example, our preferences for specialties and even rotations. I will definitely recommend this agency to all my acquaintances.

This company provided a full seamless package that included the internship placement and the accommodation in the host country. They had a variety of internship opportunities and the accommodation itself was homely and people that stayed there were friendly. The hosts gave good recommendations of where to go, where to buy food etc and the communication was very easy (through an app). The internship placement was also what I had applied for and it allowed a hybrid flexibility which was great because I got to explore the host country too as a result. They provided airport pick-up service and had many facilities within the accommodation. Great internship + housing!

Ability to reach and communicate with staff members throughout my entire process was remarkable. I always had a source of support and reassurance, could not be more satisfied.

I had a great experience in my remote internship coordinated by Intern Abroad HQ. I was able to intern under a human rights organization in Tanzania, where I learned a lot about how the organization works, as well as about how they carry out and execute their strategies, by learning from people in various departments. It was a special opportunity to have worked with people who do work I am inspired by, and I also got valuable insights from exposure to international and cultural differences that directly influenced the problems they worked to resolve.

During my time while working with the intern abroad HQ I received excellent directions and received great hands-on experience with furthering my career in cyber security! This past summer I had the amazing opportunity to intern in Athens, Greece. During my internship, I worked with patients in a gym/clinic setting, shadowed surgeries, and worked one on one in an inpatient setting.

I worked alongside the head Physical Therapist to help assist patients in their bed to increase strength and better their range of motion. Whether it was recovering from a knee replacement surgery or a cancer patient learning how to walk again, each case was very unique in its own ways. This was a very eye opening experience for me working with these patients and making sure they get to where they need to be.

During my time in the hospital, my understanding and knowledge of the importance of inpatient physical therapists grew exponentially. I also had the honor of scrubbing in for a surgery and assisting the doctor in successfully operating an ulnar nerve decompression.
