This site was used as part of a phishing attack against me starting with a cold telephone call. When I called the phone number to ask how to report fraud, I got through to someone who didn’t introduce themselves as working for the organisation, sounded thoroughly disinterested and suggested I email the generic information email address for the organisation. He claimed he didn’t know anything about what would constitute abuse of their payment platform.
Reply to iPayTotal: I’m not implying that you are the scam company that cold called me. I’m just pointing out that they are using your platform to take payments fraudulently. I contacted (edited from contact) the phone number on your website to ask about reporting this, and the person I spoke to didn’t take any information, but asked me to get in touch with info @ yourdomain. My complaint was not handled professionally.
I’ve copied iPayTotal’s reply here so that my responses make sense:

Second reply to iPayTotal: I’ve made it pretty clear in my review that I am not suggesting you conduct such practices. Which of your platforms are you asking me to refrain from using? What is the basis for asking me to take down the review? What have I said that is not true?
Third reply to iPayTotal: I note that on 30/5/2021 you asked Trustpilot to ask me to provide you with more information (reference number, full name and phone number). I’m not clear on why you require this information from me. I’ve made the context of my review very clear, and indicated I’m not a direct customer—I don’t use you as a payment gateway. I don’t know what sort of reference number I could possibly give you, and I’m not comfortable giving you my personal details given that one of your customers appeared to be engaging in criminal activity. I’ve also noted that your response to being informed of this criminal activity has been to prevent *my* payments, but not to prevent others from making a payment to that customer. Feel free to respond here.

Even though we have been facing many issues lately ipaytotal is always there to help us, if I have to say one thinh I am not happy is the approach of technical team, not answering queries as we expect but support team is always there to help, Gentleman like Anderson James deserves award for dealing with my issues every time I go back to him, he has been very helpful. When we first started working everything was perfect. All payments went through, no problems whatsoever. This lasted for 2 weeks and after that IPT changed the aquire bank for us and things went down the drain. Almost no payments come through as of today. The rules for withdrawing funds are also strict and far from accomodative. The biggest issue is the limits imposed on transactions. Unlike anything I've ever seen before the limits apply not only to successful transactions but also to unsuccessful transactions. Example: the limit is 12 transactions per client per month. If the client attempts to pay and fails 12 times for some reason, he can't make payments any more. Many clients just make 12 attempts in one go and find themselves unable to pay. They have to wait for a month.
On the bright side the people at IPT are always polite and ready to help you solve any issue and promptly answer any questions. They really work with you, don't just leave you stranded.
