Unprepared and unprofessional
I was contacted by Josh Allen about a Paid Account Manager role at an agency.
After sending my CV and asking if the job was remote. I was called out of the blue the next morning by a different person. This call was not scheduled or planned, and Josh had not answered the only question I had posed to him about the role.
This new person who was calling clearly had not read my CV, nor were they even contacting me about the correct role. As a candidate this immediately put me off, as the recruiter had put in absolutely no effort before contacting me.
After declining the role (specifically off the basis that this felt like a cold caller trying to sell me something with no idea who I was). I contacted Josh again to explain my poor experience.
He was rude and unprofessional. There was no apology for lack of preparation on his part, and clearly he did not think they had done anything wrong in wasting my time and their clients prospects of a new hire.
What an unprofessional and ill-prepared recruitment agency. If you are a business looking for ideal candidates, I do not think you will find them through this business.
