Hey everyone I visit this company and trust me management are full supportive I am very impressed with their service I really like it I recommend you to visit this company thanks
Really good company to deal with had my shutters and blinds fitted by J & A blinds, could not fault the workmanship, the fitter arrived on time, was very pleasant and helpful, cleaned up after himself, blinds and shutters are perfect everyone who comes to my house comments on how well they look would definitely recommend this company snd will definitely be buying from here again.
Thank you J &A blinds
Customer service appalling from beginning to end. Myself, friends and family have all used J&A blinds over the years but never again. I sent a complaint into them 2 weeks ago and no reply. Misleading pricing, wrong blinds fitted, basic health and safety not followed despite being in a pandemic and absolutely zero after care.
1. Called for quote with my measurements, quoted £40-90 including fitting. When they arrived at my home for formal quote, the cheapest quote was £82! Raised this with the colleague who range the office who said they must have got it wrong. I explained this was misleading and we settled half way but felt like I’d been lied to from the get go.
2. Blinds booked in for fitting on a specific date, someone had forgotten to order the fabric so date changed.
3. On day of fitting, I went downstairs and left the colleague to fit my blinds. After some time I went upstairs to check his progress but oddly could not find him in my office, looked out of the window to see if he was at his van but could not find him. Realised I could smell heavy air freshener when coming up the stairs and realised he was using my bathroom without having the courtesy of asking. In the middle of a pandemic this is entirely unacceptable let alone to mention the awful smell he left behind. I had to spend time then disinfecting my bathroom and washing all of my towels as I had no idea what had been touched. Doors were closed so how did he even find my bathroom?
4. Once the above drama had settled and the colleague had left, I went to look at the blind. Thought things could not get worse but the entirely wrong blinds had been fitted. The colleague had not cleaned up after himself which I also had to do.
5. Raised all of the above points and advised I don’t want anyone returning to my house and let’s leave the blinds as they are. This was ignored and you booked in a new date for refitting the blinds which it felt I had no option but to agree to.
6. To add insult to injury, you then sent the same worker back to my house to do the refit! Once complete the colleague then started to demand payment, given I was in the middle of a meeting and had not been made aware this being needed, I asked him to leave and I would sort it later which he was not happy with. Once my meeting was finished and I had chance to reflect, I suddenly realised the colleague had not bothered to wear a face mask in my house and was stood in my hallway arguing with me over payment with nothing covering his mouth.
7. You then chased me multiple times for payment, which I made within 24 hours.
8. Complaint sent to raise the number of issues and safety concerns, no reply, I can only assume you do not care now I’ve made payment.
Great help - great advice, cannot recommend highly enough.
You pay for what you get and it really shows quality and service was fantastic
Thanks
I would not recommend j&a blinds
Had a terrible experience
I will never go back to them I would tell everyone to stay away
