One star is not low enough

One star is not low enough. I bought a pair of their neoprene wellies. I have used them a dozen times to walk around the local common. One has split. The sole has come apart from the upper on the other. Useless product.

Cheap Chinese made rubbish

Cheap Chinese made rubbish! Sizes are at least 3 sizes under UK standards. Absolutely no customer service whatsoever. Tried the 'contact us' on the website and via their Facebook page, just been ignored. Save your money, this firm is an absolute shambles.

CHEAP INFERIOR CRAP FROM A BACKSTREET SWEATSHOP SOMEWHERE IN THE REPUBLIC of CHINA

Garment sizing not to UK standards and are typically around 3 sizes too small. Bought a country shirt from retailer A in my normal size of 2XL, not only could I not fasten the buttons, but there was a shortfall of some 2 to 3" between the button and button hole. Thinking it was a one off error, I ordered the next size up (3XL) from retailer B (retailer A not had any more stock). This too was too small at around 1 to 2" shortfall between button and button hole, and the sleeves were a good 7" too long. Now as a regular wearer of country shirts, I know full well that they are generously cut and that my usual 2XL size has plenty of room. It should be noted that the label clearly states "made in prc", in other words a cheap backstreet sweatshop in the Republic of China, given my previous experience with these incorrectly sized items of clothing, it explains a great deal. Labelled 2XL would be around M-L UK size and 3XL (which is the largest size available) would be around L-XL. Ironically, Jack Pyke appear to be in denial of the poor quality of this product,

Knife snapped, customer service abysmal

The savannah hunting knife snapped trying to cut some sugar cane. Tried to contact customer service who were not helpful at all just saying that they apparently don't sell any items and it's the shops fault as the shop sold me their product? I don't know what kind of pillocks are employed but I will be reporting this to trading standards as it is unacceptable.

I brought a pair of Jack Pyke Ashcombe…

I brought a pair of Jack Pyke Ashcombe Neoprene Lined gusseted wellington boots from john Norris just before Christmas, the boots had only been worn a hand full of times walking my dog (Not used when shooting of for any strenuous prolonged periods). These boots split and leaked within 3 weeks.
I sent the boots back and john Norris were extremely helpful, unfortunately due to issues with shipping problems with getting boots into the UK, I received a new pair of boots sometime in April. My second pair of boots split the second time I used them, once again this was only walking my dog. John Norris where again extremely helpful and a full refund was given. I found these boots to be incredibly poor quality and wouldn’t recommend these to anyone.

Sizing of JP jackets and gilets are…

Sizing of JP jackets and gilets are very small compared to other manufacturers. I tried the largest JP gilet on 3xl which on the size chart is 46 chest. I couldn't get it on. I then tried a Swaziland gilet 3xl fitted perfectly there size chart says 3xl is 54.5 chest and they go up to 5xl which is into the 60 plus chest. JP please increase your size range as I find your products good value for money but only for little people

Very disappointed and poor customer service.

I recently purchased a Country Man Jacket. Unfortunately the zip constantly comes apart when being worn. Whilst I’m happy with the overall quality but very disappointed with the constant issue of the zip.
Sent an email to complain, no response received, tried many more times but for some reason keep getting a message to say unable to send. No phone numbers to speak to anyone. Will never buy Jack Pyke again.

Very poor service

I was given a pair of their zipped wellies for a birthday present. They are very comfortable but that is where it stops. They split at the heal in less than a year 9 months actually. Emailed customer service very poor at responding. Sent another email with pictures they want a receipt which I don’t have as they were a present. After more emails from me they said they would refer it to senior management weeks ago no response as usual. This is a terrible company in my opinion stay well clear is my advice. Phil a very unhappy customer.

Don’t give up…

Bought a Jack Pyke cartridge thermos flask as a Christmas gift for my husband from The Wolfman shooting supplies. Three outings and every time his coffee has been cold in under an hour. As I bought it a while before Christmas The Wolfman won’t refund or replace due to being over 6 months since purchase and zero reply from Jack Pyke customer services.
17/06/24 Update. Finally managed to get a response from JP CS and replacement item is on its way. 🎉

Jack Pyke Fieldman Boots

I purchased Jack Pyke Fieldman Boots in November 2022. Unfortunately, after only three months the rubber around both boots began to breakdown with the result the boots were no longer waterproof. This was very disappointing as the boots were actually waterproof at the start and comfortable. Jack Pyke replaced these boots under warranty which is of course a positive to them, unfortunately the replacement boots have the same problem and have been confined to the bin. In both cases it is the poor quality of the one inch rubber that extends around each boot which is letting down what is otherwise a good boot.

I've bought lots of Jack Pyke gear

I've bought countless outdoor/hunting gear from several makers.
The only one that's consistently delivered on quality & value is Jack Pyke.
Latest buy is a pair of Tundra boots. After returning 2 pairs EACH of Hoka & Inov8 "waterproof" (NOT) boots and cost £150, a pair of £75 Tundras left me comfy & DRY
