Peanut Feeders - Not fit for purpose
29 April 2023 I bought on line from livingwithbirds.com
Ring-Pull Click™ Medium Peanut Feeder, green
RP3-P2G on 2nd ~June after only 2 refills it was seen listing on the pole. The screw fixing was split into 3 pieces
4 or 6 Port ring pull click feeders - only good for one use
This review is for the 4 or 6 Port - Ring Pull Click Metal Seed Feeders. They are very expensive, but on first usage, I was thrilled with my purchase and thought them a worthwhile investment because they were robust enough to stand up to the pigeons and squirrels. It was only after trying to wash them as advertised that my opinion changed. One of the ports on one of the feeders wouldn't reconnect so I had to secure in place with a large cable tie. Then, after the seed ran out from the first top up after washing, I went out to fill up the feeders, only to discover that ANOTHER port has fallen off on EACH feeder. I could find one of the fallen ports, so I reattached with another large cable tie, but I couldn't find the other port, so the feeder has been rendered useless. So it's a great feeder as long as you never want to clean and reuse it.... For me, that's too much money to pay for a one-off bird feeder
