Avoid at all costs. Terrible firm. They get your money for survay and they do not do anything even they do not send a proposal.

We used their services last year to remove bamboo from my garden. They charge for the quote, but even after paying, the initial visit was not thorough. They quoted several thousand pounds, then once work began, increased the price by several thousand more for issues that should have been identified before I agreed to proceed. Work was delayed due to poor preparation, and by May this year the bamboo had already grown back despite the five-year guarantee.

Trying to arrange the guarantee inspection was extremely frustrating. There were missed appointments, weeks without any response to emails, and repeated calls that went unanswered. If you are an existing customer, their phone line redirects you to email them, but in my experience, those emails are ignored. When someone eventually attended, he left a few small shoots on the neighbour’s grass and said he would need to come back again. He spoke to the office, and they began discussing whether these three tiny shoots were inside or outside the coverage area. I am certain they are covered, but even if they were just outside, it would be by only a few inches. In my view, it is unacceptable to even consider charging extra for something so minor, especially given that the delays had already allowed the problem to spread.

In my experience, the guarantee holds little value, communication is poor, and delays only make the issue harder to resolve. I regret choosing this company and cannot recommend them.

Poor service in relation to quoting for bamboo removal. Had to chase and chase to the get the rather expensive survey report back.
The quote for remedial work was sky high, and the team were.unable to answer simple questions like what species of bamboo was found.

I've had nothing but problems with GCGRP and Japanese Knotweed Specialists. They have been treating our property for years, yet every single year, I have to chase them down just to get them to do the job we’ve already paid thousands for!

Iv repeatedly asked them for SIX YEARS to update the treatment reports with the correct owner’s name. Still not sure if this has been done because they didn't even bother to contact us or carry out the treatment last year, setting us back an entire year!! They are also impossible to contact or simply speak to someone.

Japanese Knotweed treatment in the UK already feels like a money-making scam, but this company takes it to another level. They take your money and then make you do the work of constantly reminding them to fulfill their end of the deal.

I’m beyond frustrated with this level of incompetence. If you’re looking for reliable service, I highly recommend avoiding this company.
