As a landlord, I can honestly say, I have nothing but good and positive experiences with Jayman Estate Agents. I left my previous agent as they were not personable, neglected maintenance and communication was either poor or non existent. Since moving to Jayman, everything has been at a very professional standard, very efficient and friendly staff, service is very bespoke and personable to my needs, and best of all they have a local maintenance team on site. I would highly recommend them.

Under no circumstances rent your property through Jaman...
A tennant they provide has simply left, retained the property keys failed to pay outstanding bills and Jayman simply wipe their hands clean...
They took no guarantor details at the outset so there is no hope of recovery, the deposit will not cover the replacement and reissuing of a new front door sceurity lock and keys as the tenant still has access to the property.
What company would simply hand some one the keys to a property with no gurantor.
No duty of care, No offer of any help or assistance, and as usual the landlord has to pick up the costs...

As a First Time Buyer, I had so many questions about the process and was obviously completely new to it. From the first step, Louise Touhig was so incredibly supportive and easily contactable. From the beginning, it felt as easy as it possibly could have been - I went for my viewing relatively quickly, Louise called me the next day to discuss my offer and then let me know that this was accepted. Every second/third viewing, she was quick to set-up, every time my solicitor was chasing, I knew that Louise would be responsive.

I was so nervous going into this process, I had been let down before this with a different property and agent, so perhaps was a little more cautious and apprehensive than I would have been beforehand. But Louise put my mind at ease, and within less than 12 weeks, I was picking up the keys.

Even after the sale went through, when I needed to discuss final bills for the previous owner, Louise was so easy to get a hold of and had it sorted within less than 24 hours.

Great experience and would 100% recommend.

When my tenant gave notice that they would be moving out it was important to me to get a new tenant in place as soon as possible. The lettings team at Jayman could not have been more efficient in this process.

Within four days of my informing them they had arranged six viewings one of which immediately placed an application which was accepted. At each stage of the process the lettings team provided outstanding service

Everything smooth from start till we move in...Highly recommended.

Just awful. Avoid at all costs. The vendor (who was related to someone in the company) was incredibly unreasonable with regard to expected timescales (threatened to pull out multiple times because we "weren't quick enough", as in, couldn't get a roofer round within 5 days of a damning survey etc).

They left the house on the market literally until the day we completed.

Loads of ultimatums/threats "if you haven't done x in 2 days time we're putting it back on the market", yes love, you never took it off?!?

Felt v like they were frightened to tell the vendor she was being unreasonable so just passed the pressure onto us. Stressful and ridiculous.

From first contacting Jaymans, Laura has been very professional has kept us informed every step of the way

I can not recommend Jayman highly enough, especially Julie Kilgallen. From day 1 this lady has gone over and above to help us, She is kind, professional, very reliable and just overall lovely. Over the last 30 years I have used many estate agents but Jaymans comes out on top and we’re very grateful we have Julie to deal with.

Awful experience using them to buy. I Purchased a property through Jaymans and have to say they were awful. Didn’t contact me once off their own backs, I had to chase every single time and didn’t have any contact with them at all for 7 weeks when they had the nerve to call the day before exchange to ask me for an update!

They made it such a stressful experience- I ended up searching for the vendor and reaching out on social media to get updates as to what was happening.

The only good thing about the whole experience is that I know I would never sell or purchase another property through them.
