Digital Analytics :heart: Jepto
As an independent digital analytics and tag management consultant, Jepto has made my life easier. My main focus is on data collection and data governance.
Jepto has allowed me to automate mundane tasks like monitoring anomalies in data through Machine Learning and AI (in other words: if there is a problem with data collection, I will know about it immediately). Through integration with Search Console, I can set up alerts on significant SEO changes such as new 404 pages with details that help me to quickly find the errors and communicate instructions to clients on how to fix them.
A small, but valuable feature, is the Google Analytics Management API functionality that allows me to see and receive notifications on changes made to a Google Analytics property/view.
Now, take all that data, and you can make a unique dashboard in Google Data Studio thanks to their pre-built connector. Using the connector, I have been able to build customer-facing dashboards that makes Jepto data easy to understand and actionable.
Jepto certainly has a lot of potential for digital analytics and SEO experts, but also for marketers as you can monitor (and receive alerts on) your ad budgets. I have not used that personally, but with the rest of the service being top-notch, including their customer service, I can imagine the benefits it will bring to anyone using Jepto.
I highly recommend Jepto to anyone involved with website optimization and digital analytics. I have been able to create subscription-based services myself in which Jepto is one of the driving forces behind my insights.
