Swadlincote Ski & Snowboard Centre

Staff are wonderful, however, everywhere needs a good spring clean and outside particularly poor with overgrown grass and weeds (Viper area particularly dirty and overgrown).
My teenage sons booked for the tubing and tobogganing.

Tubing - you are only allowed from the middle of the downhill slope and the artificial snow surface is in a poor condition. My sons tried the tubing but were so unimpressed they decided to go straight to the tobogganing.

One to a sleigh if over 8, but sleigh would constantly stop whilst going up hill, either the young man managing the ride would have to assist or the next person behind would gently ram the stuck rider back into action.

There is no control once on the toboggan to monitor younger children who ride alone too slow downhill, this impacts others as they believe they have finished the ride and set off, only to be met half way down by the snail sleigh, my sons had to brake to prevent ramming into these young children, this totally ruined both my sons experience and could have caused injury.

I would recommend this centre for young children of 12 years and under but I personally do not believe enjoyable for teenagers. Both my sons said it had been absolutely rubbish and they would never return nor recommend to anyone, the youngest being 13 yrs old.
