I suffered from terrible interview anxiety, and because of that, had a tendency to ramble during my interviews. Farhan taught me how to relax during my interviews, and how to give my answers a structure that ensured I answered all questions while throwing in little extras that recruiters are looking out for! I am a naturally reserved person. I have always found interviewing hit or miss. I recently relocated back to the U.K, and I was struggling with the interviewing process. After an unsuccessful interview for an internal job interview in August 2024 I realised I needed some external help to teach me to sell myself better in interview. I'm so glad I found Farhan. Over 3 sessions, he was able to identify where I was going wrong in interview, give me a clear structure for answering questions and help me practice. His mentoring was bespoke and therefore eye-opening in terms of my blind spots and where I had been going wrong. Six weeks after my unsuccessful internal interview I applied for an external associate director post and was successful! Turning round a poor interview style can't be fixed in 3 sessions alone; I needed to put in a lot of work between sessions, but there is no way I would have got this job without Farhan's support. I found myself having a complete mental block during interviews, even when I knew the answer to the question I was unable to get my point across effectively. After narrowly missing out on my first interview, I was given a second chance and Farhan did everything to prepare me for my second attempt.
