Store Manager Misbehaved

Absolutely the worst customer service experience I’ve had in a clothing store. At Johnny Big Homebush, the store manager was extremely rude, unhelpful, and disrespectful from the moment we walked in. While my mother, my wife, and I were simply browsing, he kept saying things like “don’t mess up” and “don’t ruin the clothes” instead of offering any assistance. When I stepped out for just five minutes to take a phone call, he started yelling at them again for no reason. When I came back to address it, another staff member had to step in — but this store manager refused to even give his name and said “you didn’t need to know it.” When I took a photo of the store to leave a review, he sarcastically said, “Go ahead, file a complaint I don’t care.” This kind of attitude is unacceptable in retail and completely ruined our mood. I will never return and definitely don’t recommend this store.

And if the franchise really want do any better for this store.. just read at the reviews and you’ll know😅.. why there are so many complaints about the staff misbehaving with the customers.. have you ever thought about what might be the root cause..🤔

I always manage to get casual and work clothes from JB. Good variety and the quality is great. I can’t vouch for the online store as I like to try them on first. Happy to recommend.

Worst online shopping experiance of my…

Worst online shopping experiance of my life. Firstly the way their buy one get one half price promotion works is ridiculous. The lowest priced item is always the one you get half price. I wanted to spend $150. After spending a long time picking the items I wanted my cart was reading $135. I wanted to add $15 to bring it up to $150. I spent a while picking a $15 dollar item, but the system made the $15 filler item my half price one. After adding a $15 item my my $135 cart my balance went up to $175. Tricky pricing, using gotcha math. Eventually I got a cart worth $150 of items that I like. (Took me an hour to go through the site to find those things) Then come the time to pay.

I recieved two Johnny Bigg giftcards for Xmas. One worth $100 and the other worth $50. I wanted to use them to pay. But guess what... their system only allows one giftcard to be used. So it was all a waste of time.

I've asked family never to buy me giftcards from Johnny Bigg again. Their clothing has lowered in quality the last few years anyway.

Amazingly Awesome Business

Truly stunned by the negative reviews. Over the last 18 months I have placed 5 separate orders on Johnny Bigg website. I have received what was ordered each and every time within 3 to 5 days max from order date. My first order had a sizing issue on one of the shirts. It wound up being a size smaller than what the rest of my order was. I contacted customer service by telephone. They apologized for the inconvenience, sent me correct size overnight ship for free. Told me not to bother sending the non fitting shirt back. I donated it. That's customer service above and beyond what almost anyone provides anymore. My subsequent orders have had items that I have returned without any issues. The returns have been sizing issues, because I sit between sizes a bit, and sometimes order the same item in multiple sizes to ensure fit. They have freely processed my returns and promptly processed refunds. If ever I have the opportunity to travel to Australia from the USA, it would be awesome to stop into one of their stores to just say thank you. In addition to the amazing service, the clothes are pretty fly to boot. Please note the date of this review is the most recent of my interactions with Johnny Bigg that stretch back over the last 18 months

Flawed product worse customer service

I bought some pants and they arrived In a bag, not a big deal but a box would have been better. I pulled the pants out of the bag and noticed a button had fallen to the ground. After further Inspection, it was the button for the waist. It was disappointing, to see that quality but things like this happen and I was okay to sow it back on myself. What was disappointing was the response I got back from customer service for providing them feedback. You know the company does not stand by their product when their standard boiler plate response is to deflect any liability.

I had given this store chance after chance. Last straw was when I bought a jacket for $179 (was $20 off) BUT that very next day it went one sale for $99, my product hadn't left the store as yet. I dont think payment was even processed.

I was upset so I contacted store, was told too bad, store policy not to help customer in this situation & bad luck basically. I don't see why my sale couldn't had been cancelled and done under new price and I could of used the difference in store as credit so they wouldn't "loose money"

they posted my purchase 4days later. Arrived after like 8 working days. SO YOU DONT DESERVE MY BUSINESS!! there are other big men stores. 1/5. :(

Inept business

Wrong address. When I tried to correct it, I was told I'd have to wait until it shipped and then change the delivery location. That was nearly two weeks ago and the products are still sitting in a warehouse. And there's literally no way to cancel the order.

DFO Moorabbin poor in-store experience

DFO Moorabbin store.
I went there with my Dad today. I wanted to ask for some help for him whilst there were no other customers at the counter. The two people there to serve, a man and a woman, did not speak to me as I stood up at the desk. The man looked me in the eye twice but said nothing. The woman did not look up at all.
I don’t like to make a scene so I just left, feeling embarrassed.

I used to think Aussies were Nice, Honest People.

Ordered items for my spouse. Items seem of good quality, but we wanted to exchange a few of them for short sleeve. GOOD LUCK!! The ask johnny link does not come up, and only sends you to look at more merchandise. The site is difficult to navigate.... the receipt is not itemized other than item number.... no prices, no descriptions, "FREE RETURNS" my ASS! We ordered the items 12/08/23. Like the items, except for my spouse wants short sleeves for the Shirts we ordered. We are keeping the Full zip sweatshirt.... and apparently are stuck with everything else! BOO! Good luck entering a date where indicated! Review is ZERO Star.

Appalling Service!!!

I ordered 1300 dollars worth of clothes. They were stopped by customs at Auckland airport, for 5 weeks. I received 2 warnings and was told to pay all sorts of fees.
The communication from Johnny Big was slow, and unacceptable. When the clothes eventually arrived, the jackets were all crumpled.
I had bought alternatives in the mean time and returned most of it to store. The south area manager for NZ process it. He was unapologetic and wouldn’t give me a receipt.
I was offered a 20 percent off voucher for the inconvenience, which I had already received for signing up. They compare this experience with signing up!!!
I refused the voucher and complained. The communications again have been slow and I’ve been told sorry, but tough luck!
WILL NOT BUY FROM HERE AGAIN.

was introduced to this company whilst in Australia visiting family, I ordered online once back in the UK for the items to be dispatched, had a problem with the customs and excise duty due to error amount being on the shipping information, however Jenny went above and beyond to sort this out for me, I can't praise her enough, excellent communication, even though different time zones.

I had 1-5 day shipping

I had 1-5 day shipping, ordered on August 18th. My package wasn't “shipped” until August 23rd, I was supposed to receive the package today, August 30th, but because they require a signature the bright people at UPS just send it to your local UPS Access Point. Legitimately makes no sense why they require a signature. So to sum it up JohnnyBigg takes forever in the handling of your package, took 5 days to hand it off to UPS and another 7/8 days because they MADE IT REQUIRED TO HAVE A SIGNATURE.

Johnny Bigg, MIRANDA Store NSW, 2228. The rudest, most unprofessional and most arrogant lady Manager. ZERO PR and Service Skills. We would advise all our friends and relatives to avoid the Miranda store like a plaque. At best they only deserve a MINUS rating, for the WORST Customer Service in Australia!

Did not get my order, and CANNOT get a response

I did two orders from Johnny Bigg. The first was fine, so I planned on getting my son many more items. I ordered again, a shirt and some shoes. The shoes never came, and they were $70.
I have sent six emails now. NO answer. I left two reviews on their webpage, which were removed both times, and I DID receive emails saying "sorry can't post that".
I have called three times and left messages.
I WILL NOT be ordering again, and I have NEVER been blown off by any company like this, ever. Terrible service!

They call themselves a big man store…

They call themselves a big man store but only keep cloths for small guys. You pay a very high price for shorts but it wont last longer than 2 months before the material rubs through between your legs, if bought 20 pair of shorts at almost $2000, they fit nicely but was designed to fail quickly. They use small blokes for models, not even close to a real big man store.

I purchase almost $250 on shirts and t-shirts, have been passed almost 3 weeks and i don't have received any information about my order. I wrote several emails and messages to johnny bigg and they don't respond any of my emails and messages. I am start thinking this business is a scam. Please help me how to get back my hard earn money.
