Service/Support FAIL

I write to all of you to express my profound disappointment in Johnson Controls. I also don't understand why I can't get any of you on the phone.

My system has been down for weeks. I am unable to lock my doors, or my employees cannot get in.

I finally got a tech yesterday. He was here for hours and finally departed. Fixed? Nope. Left with a shrug I guess.

Did he, or another tech, return today to finish? Nope. And after I spent hours on the phone being transferred over and over and over again, because I can't reach any of you, I was finally told that the help desk the tech needs is on the east coast, and now it's too late in the day. It is too late in the day, because A) the tech didn't show this morning, and B) you have been giving me the runaround for hours.

I was then told that I could get a tech dispatched today, but he would not be able to do anything, and the fee would be 1400.00. Go ahead and bill me 1400.00. Wait right there for your payment.

I am told now that the tech will return tomorrow. Like that is doing me a favor. Why wasn't he here this morning? Tomorrow is unacceptable.

This has been a complete failure all the way around. And has been going on for weeks.

When this system was first installed, the tech was a no show that day. I learned subsequently that there was some part not in stock, but no one called to say that or reschedule. We sat here waiting and nothing. Johnson Controls showed me who they are and I should have believed you. I regret ever installing this system. I cannot trust Johnson Controls. There is nothing you could do at this point to gain it back.

Send a tech or don't. Fix your system, or don't. All I heard anyone say to me today was to find another provider.

worthless company

worthless company. Too much debited after inspection by mechanic, which turned out to be a tampering. Then try to get your money back. Is sent from pillar to post. Was supposed to get a call back, but not. Waited on hold for an incredibly long time. I think they're hoping you'll give up. I'm going to look for another security solution

ADT Johnson Controls REFUND MY MONEY

ADT Johnson Controls created a fall in my system 8 months ago. They still have the nerve to charge me for a very very very poor service. They only have one engineer who appears to know what they are doing. Good luck with the lottery and I hope that you find the one engineer. ADT JOHNSON CONTROL REFUND MY 8 MONTHS MONEY

Company needs some reorganization

The customer service people are not trained and do not know what they are doing. They keep raising their prices, and when I ask for service, they send a sales rep and try to sell me a new machine, which is was quoted $40,000. When their engineer and tech came, they told me a quick fix would suffice. Also when you call the phone number and follow the prompts, you don't get connected to the correct department. I thought the first time might've been my mistake, but nope. The wrong department was dialed everytime. Please please please get your departments together

If I could give a zero I would

Called for service for a motor , scheduled me in for a week later at 8:00 am , tech didn’t show up , no call from service dispatcher , I had to call and then they informed me that the service tech had an early morning call and would get to me ASAP , it is now 11:00 am and nothing, no communication, no follow up , if I could give a ZERO I would .

Had to use this company to reset a fire…

Had to use this company to reset a fire control system was quoted one price and got a bill for another called repletely to get it corrected told the computer was down. Went to pay the bill to get rid of this company and was told if i paid with a card it was an extra $102 for fees. They are very slow it took two months for them to repair the system and now I'm at another trying to pay them and this is after repeated calls trying to get a bill Warning Warning don't use this company.

Discriminated Against Because of my ADHD

I had an interview with Johnson Controls for a position at their location in Lubbock, Texas. I was not hired because of my ADHD. They discriminated against me because of my disability. Thankfully I got a MUCH better job working for the USPS!!!!! Their loss!!!! I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone because I know that they didn't hire me because of my mental disability of ADHD, even though when I filled out the application, I put that I DO have a disability, but I know that's why they didn't hire me. I'm extremely qualified for the position that I interviewed for.

Rude Worker

While driving on I-81 north behind a Johnson controls vehicle(41201330) at a slow down this driver deliberately pulled out in front of me twice almost causing a multi-car accident while I was in my vehicle with my 3 kids. I want to file a complaint. This driver was reckless and highly inappropriate along with putting me and my family in danger for apparently No reason. Not sure what his issue was but it was highly unsafe and he should if nothing else be made aware of that. The license plate number was 16213-NA.
Should I file a complaint to the cops?
- Very unhappy driver.

Driver 160587

Driver 160587 was one of the worst and most aggressive drivers I have encountered. Driving in I-85 traffic things change rapidly but I witnessed him cutting me off multiple times and aggressively laying on his horn. He could have caused an accident multiple times. Would definitely discuss with this driver about driving more cautiously and to not risk his life or others' lives due to aggressive driving.

Johnson Controls drivers don't respect Road rule

This is about their drivers driving company car with the company name and logo on it and blocking intersection while waiting at a traffic light. So selfish. This is illegal and what if there is emergency vehicles need to turn in. The company should teach their employees better. send them to driving course and tell them to learn traffic rule properly. I saw this at intersection of Holker st and Slough Ave Silverwater NSW on 1st Oct 2022 around 3:50pm.

Worst company ever - $1000 min service call.

Worst company ever. Customer service is poor. Here are a couple of examples we experienced. 1. Our fire alarm system stopped working. Of course there was lots of finger pointing between AT&T and Johnson Control. Johnson Control said it was AT&T lines. AT&T said it was Johnson Control's alarm. No one would take responsibility for getting it fixed. Finally, Johnson Controls dispatched a technician. The technician went out and supposedly confirmed it was AT&T's lines. Accordingly, the technician did no work. That did not stop Johnson Control from sending a bill for over $1000. JC claimed that this was the minimum charge for a service call even if they do absolutely nothing. 2. Here is another great example of their terrible service. Apparently our fire alarm became obsolete so they stopped monitoring it. We did not know this for 6 months. When we found out we asked them to go ahead and install a new system ASAP. This took a couple more months. Thankfully, we did not have a fire in that 8-month period where we were without a functioning alarm system. Do not do business with this company.

I would not recommend this company

I would not recommend this company. They are associated with MBR Acres in Huntingdon. Who breed beagle puppies for barbaric painful and torturous experiments, vivisection and toxicology.
Anybody who works for MBR are paid with blood money and should be ashamed of themselves. If I was the owner of Johnson controls I would cancel the contract. The last company who worked for MBR have now had to close their business and move away.

Criminal exchange

Criminal exchange.

Not a fan. These folks charge us top dollar and deliver bottom-basement quality equipment and service.

All that crappy archaic equipment requires a service staff who are good at putting band aids on the problems. Getting waken up and told there's a "trouble signal" and not being told any more is a horrible and disorienting experience. My first thought being a break in at my shop. It happens lots and lots and lots of times with this company.

So, my hope is that this review impinges on these guys to either provide better service and exchange for our $300+ per month or that they suffer from others avoiding them and just go out of business.

By the way, this company has provided crap service since we signed up maybe 5 years ago. Today we had another tech out who did an "upgrade" of some sort and changed a battery on a sensor. He then told up our internet hasn't been connected to the system since August, the last 4 months. I asked him to fix it and he said to call the internet provider. So the expert left our alarm broken. Well we have no issues with our internet service here. This is unacceptable. We're looking for another company now.

If it was possible to give no stars and…

If it was possible to give no stars and leave a review that’s exactly what would happen here .

I have waited over 8 months for Johnson Controls Glasgow to install a standard ADT wireless monitored home alarm .Each time the engineer attends they tell me that they have still to bring another item of equipment needed to complete the install just before they leave Question (WHERE IS THE JOB PLANNING ? )
Answer (THERE IS NONE )

I have had 4 visits in total ,multiple excuses and storylines to explain away the problems ,I am sorry extremely sub standard service does not sit well with me !
I notified ADT through their contact us web page that I was deeply unhappy with the performance of Johnson Controls Glasgow office and told them that I had put an end to this Charade and instructed the Glasgow office to remove the partial system install that has taken over 8 months .
ADT came back very apologetic and stated that we will get this sorted out !
Let’s see how long this takes them to get to the bottom of the problem ,in the meantime I got an automated call from ADT as I am a key holder to tell me that there was a problem with my Alarm system that’s not bad it only took 26 hrs to flag that there was a problem with the alarm .
Johnson Controls Glasgow have clearly not informed the monitoring centre or system of the update and removal of the alarm .
I am just curious to see how long it will take ADT to understand the problem given the fact that it took Johnson Controls over 8 months to complete only a partial alarm system install using standard parts ?

No wonder there is a growing market for Yale wireless alarm systems and a growing number of DIY self installs taking place given the extremely poor level of service supplied from the OEM alarm manufacturers

Johnson Controls Glasgow what a waste of time !

If you plan on getting an ADT alarm system please make sure you get another office to deal with your install as this Glasgow office is chaotic and non functional at best .

Johnson Controls are dragging the good name of ADT through the mud and tarnishing their brand name and reputation .

It’s not the alarm system that’s needs to be monitored ADT should be keeping a careful eye on the poorly run Glasgow office to make sure they don’t continue to serve up substandard service to their new customers .

A PATHETIC DEMONSTRATION OF EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE AT ITS WORDT AS I DONT BELIEVE ITS POSSIBLE TO SINK ANY FURTHER THE GLASGOW OFFICE HAS HIT ROCK BOTTOM HERE !

Dealing with the Glasgow office of Johnson Controls is very much like a game of snakes and ladders 2 or 3 moves forward then over a dozen moves backwards .

Johnson Controls sort your selves out and this particular office for the sake of the reputation and good name of ADT .!

At least ADT attempted to get in contact with me and tried to resolve the situation , unfortunately it’s a waiting game now ,as Bella from ADT didn’t leave any contact details or e-mail addresses for me to follow up with ,only a brief message saying that it would be handed over to the appropriate department ,let’s see what happens and exactly how long it takes them to swing into action and turn things around I am only glad that Johnson Controls are not dealing with the complaints issue or I could be in for a painfully long wait .

ADT please stop calling the key holders to inform them that there is a problem with the alarm now that the alarm is no longer installed !
