Literal Fraud

Literal Fraud, scams creators out of their commission, tries to control the market and blatantly lies to the consumers face about its practices, worst of all poaches small businesses and their lively hoods by giving out coupons not meant for the world to use.

Trustpilot have teemed up with honey to delete 1 star reviews? since all of them get deleted. I have purchasedd many products using honey and their deceiving advertisement prevented me from useing discount code that was active at the time!

Discusting and horrible business practices. Perfect example of how scummy PayPal company uses deceiving practives to fund their business from creators and consumer pockets.

Frauds

They claim to scour the internet in search of the best discount codes do you don't have too. They don't. I see it over and over again when on something as simple as Pizza, i'll find much better offers from a quick google search. I can't imagine how much money I've been scammed out off by this false claim and apparently, they do this intentionally because they work with some of the retailers who then determine which discounts Honey should offer. If there's a law suit, I'm joining.

Scams creators and consumers alike

Scams creators and consumers alike. Deliberately withholds the best discount codes from you at the request of brands, e.g. if a 30% coupon is available the brand can choose to only show you 5% or 10% coupons - just enough to prevent you going online to find a better code.
Steals commission from creators even if it can't find a coupon/honey gold is not available - clicking on the honey pop-up (whatever the message) overrides the affiliate link, so whoever linked you the product gets nothing. The Honey Gold it gives you is often <3% of the commission it stole from the creator.

Honey is a fraudulent extension that…

Honey is a fraudulent extension that scams both influencers and consumers. It takes commissions from small and big influencers alike, leaving them with little to no reward for their efforts. Users who sign up as affiliates for tech firms or other businesses quickly realize that while people are clicking on their referral links, they aren't receiving the promised commissions. Instead, Honey steals the affiliate revenue, pocketing it for themselves. The extension falsely advertises its ability to find the best discount codes, but in reality, it only provides small discounts, hiding better offers from users in order to earn more commissions. Honey's business practices are unethical, and the company, backed by PayPal, exploits the hard work of influencers and consumers for profit. This is a scam, and users are advised to avoid it at all. 2 stars since 1 star vulnerable to deletion

Multiple scams in 1 conpany

This is a scam…wait, this a multi-scam platform. Just just one scam, but a few. They steal from affiliates, the steal from partners, and they are scamming customers as well. It goes deep and now they’ve been exposed, hopefully severe legal actions will be taken.

Scam

Scam, doesn't recommend the best coupons intentionally, and steals from influencers and other hardworking people.

You would save more money by looking for coupons manually.

Dishonest scam that steals from influencers

You know how sometimes you click "look for deals" and they don't find anything? They've still replaced the influencer's attribution link (how they earn money for promoting products) with their own paypal link. Honey effectively swindles influencers out of earned money. It's immoral and I can imagine in the near future will be shut down.

Shady business that's out to hurt creators and consumers

Joining the crowd on this one due to a YouTube video masterfully breaking down what it is actually doing. Be ashamed, PayPal. Seriously. I'm always suspicious of free programs, because they are getting something to offer that service. Always. And that is why my instinct about Honey was not to trust it. I had good instincts. Lying to the consumer to make them pay more even if they can't actually offer anything. Shady practices causing small creators on YouTube to lose their commission. Yeah, this company is corrupt and gross.
