Fantastic service from this family run car rental business. The car provided was clean and well maintained. I had left my travel documents in the car after having returned it at the airport, the vehicle had already been driven back to their base, but they came back asap to return my passports to me. So top notch service...and no they will not fleece you like the other "SHARKS" at the airport carpark !
I hired a car for 4 days last week (21st to 24th Oct 2024) in Malta from JS Car hire (after seeing some positive but old feedback on Tripadvisor). I was having problems sourcing a car from a hotel and taking back to the airport (most on-line quotations from other companies were rubbish - effectively airport to airport only). The JS car hire rep arrived at our hotel in Sliema on time, it took a while to do the (electronic) paperwork (as is the way), but he also explained about parking, ferries, etc. in Malta - which was very helpful. No fuss with expensive insurance offers, etc. Then we got a brand new (manual gear) Opel Corsa (only 14km on the clock) which was a dream to drive. My mobile phone linked to the car onboard display so I could use Waze GPS to get around, which was great. A great car (don't always expect a new one!) and great service - and nice to support a local small business doing a great job. Well done.
I have used this company for nearly 20 years and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Easy communication. Never had a query when they fill the car back up after you drop the car back. First class and very trustworthy. Back again this year but collecting from the airport this time
Brilliant company. Cheaper than the big names. They sent instructions via WhatsApp on where to find them at the airport. The car they gave us was brand new. No hidden costs. If you don't manage to fill up with petrol before you return the car, they'll do it for you and only charge you for the fuel. Couldn't have been better.
We’ve used JS car hire 4 times when visiting Malta & Gozo. Excellent small family company with excellent service from booking until we returned the car. We’ve always collected the same car that we book when in UK which is very rare with the unreliable big international co’s. Cars always excellent condition and reliable. Highly recommended.
