I recently purchased our new Qashai from JS Holmes, the service from start to finish was fantastic.
A big call out to Ben Harris, customer service from him was 100%.
There was no hard sell, no pushing of the "add ons" that I have experiened with other car outlets, which can be really off putting. That been said I did go for the "add ons" in the end only becuase of the the brilliant £'s part ex he offered. Again well above the other outlets out there.
My new car was handed to me in a highly prepped and pristine condition - thank you.
If you are looking for a friendly, customer focused experience then I throughly recomend JS Holmes.

rip off merchants putting on extra storage charges

The difference between J S Holmes and other dealers is quality service and no pressure sales. A brilliant company.

Holmes is our local garage, and we've always received excellent service from them when it comes to maintaining one of our Nissans.

Recently, we had to replace an older car that kept letting us down. Since I’d been so pleased with my Nissan Juke, we decided it made sense for my husband to get one too. Naturally, our first stop was Holmes. After a week of looking at various cars elsewhere, we ended up buying the very first one we’d seen there!

Ben, who handled everything for us, was kind and professional and never made us feel pressured. We knew the car was right for us and that it was a very good price for the year and model . Ben took care of all the paperwork and made the whole process as smooth and easy as possible.

Holmes is a small, friendly, and relaxed local garage with a great service department and a particularly good selection of Nissans for sale. We’re really happy with the car we chose and the service we received.

I recently bought my car from J S Holmes and honestly, it couldn’t have been a better experience. I live quite a way from the garage, so wasn’t able to view the car in person, but Ben sent me regular updates, photos, and videos, and made sure all my questions were answered. Delivery went as planned and my car is fantastic. Very grateful, and would highly recommend.

I bought my Nissan Juke a week ago from JS Holmes. From us arriving in the showroom to 'have a look' until the moment we signed the deal we were looked after by Ben. As other reviews have said he was exceptionally helpful, listened to what I was looking for and went out of his way to help and advise without being pushy at all. The car was beautifully prepared for us to collect and Ben spent time explaining all the buttons! I would highly recommend this company and particularly Ben! Thank you so much, love the car.

This used car dealership is a hidden gem. It was recommended to us by a friend who was equally delighted with his new car. To be honest I was dreading car shopping but this resulted in a very pleasant day out. Ben was fantastic, really friendly and approachable but also very professional and knowledgeable. There's a wide variety of reasonably priced cars and we were torn between two. Ben was very helpful and reassuring, patient enough to give us the time and space to make our decision. We won't go anywhere else in the future, it was such a refreshing change from pushy, impersonal big dealerships. Thank you J S Holmes, especially Ben, it was lovely to meet you, you were a star!

Amazing company, brought a car from these guys and will certainly be returning. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff were so friendly and special mention to Ben who wasn’t pushy and went out of his way to make sure we was happy before we left with the car. Purchased a Qashqai from this dealership 2 months ago and I had an issue that worried me but Rachel put my mind to rest with a very knowledgeable answer.Today the car would not start after a visit to the supermarket as the battery was dead,Rachel sent a lad from the garage 50 minutes away with a new battery and solved the problem. Fantastic service as RAC still hadn’t arrived after 7 hours,useless!. No hesitation at all in recommending this dealership.

I bought a Nissan Leaf e+ Tekna from J S Holmes. I chose this small family run dealership in preference to a national dealer, based on their good reputation and the excellent response to my initial contact. As I live 90 minutes away I used their “ Click and Collect” service to secure the car. Within 30 minutes of my call, Ben sent me a comprehensive video showing the car in detail. He was knowledgeable about all technical aspects of the car, friendly and responsive in all his dealings with me. He was never pushy, at no time did I feel pressured and I was entirely comfortable throughout the process. Additionally he collected me from Peterborough station and drove me to the garage where I completed the purchase. The car was immaculately prepared and fully serviced. I was very pleased to note that they had already addressed an advisory issue highlighted in the car’s previous MOT, without my intervention. Their excellent reputation is fully deserved, and I would not hesitate in recommending J S Holmes.

I bought a car in August. Due to living over 90 mins from the dealership I was sent a video of the condition and paid the deposit. Upon arrival there was some damage to the paint work and a rear light that the video hadn’t showed up. Tony who I was dealing with was very fair and agreed to have the car back at a later date to repair the paint work. Fast forward 2 months the car was booked in and the repair work was done without any issues. They even repaired a dent I hadn’t even noticed. Unfortunately the car did pick up a puncture while having work done. This was also sorted quickly before collection. All in all a pleasant experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Thanks

I Purchased a car through Auto Trader and paid the £99 to secure the car. Then I would call to pay the next £500 at 12 pm. When my partner called to pay, she was told they had sold the car.as we were still negotiating i only asked if they would waver the delivery fee I then told them I had put the deposit down and was told that Auto Trader doesn't own the car, they do, and they have the right to sell to whoever they want. If this is their attitude, I would give them a miss.if they can sell the car from under you

I brought my car from here and had it serviced here and never again! The sales staff and vehicle technicians seem incredibly friendly however it is clear they lack key training and monitoring. The owner, I believe his name is Martin, is a scammer! It is clear he only cares about making money and does not blink an eye to customer service and likely to his staffs needs and training. Coming in recently for my service I also found out that due to the owners negligence and fraudulent sales tactics they will shortly no longer be able to sell new or used approved Nissan's from Nissan and will only be considered an authorised service centre. I'm sure Maxis will follow shortly.
And if you do come here don't bother with a loan vehicle, whisky it seems like a great deal you will drive home and realise all of the tyres are below legal limit, your dash will look like a Christmas tree with all the safety warnings and they will be dirty and covered in oil!

Came about a week ago found a nissan juke brought it great service from start to finish great service down to the cleaning service definitely buy another car here

I took my truck in for some work they came home and picked it up and after work was done they bought it back not many garages would do than thank

Bought a VW ID 3 from this dealership
Was delivered by the owner which was nice
He then mentioned that it needed a software update that they didn’t have time to sort and after they told me about his ski chalet in France nice !

Had some issues with car so emailed and also called
Funnily enough never received a reply or a call back
Typical car dealer takes your money and that’s it

Purchased a new LEAF from JS Holmes, easy from start to finish.

After my initial enquiry, I had a call from Tony, who took the time to ask what I was looking for, what I really needed, what I wanted to pay and part exchange. An emailed quote followed the next day.

At this point I was left alone, no hassle, no new offers from 'the manager' to push me into a sale..... (Bristol street motors and evans halshaw take note)

When I called them back to go ahead, everything was swift, simple and explained in full.

Delivery date sorted, delivered with a full battery, trailer delivery free of charge, professional handover in a covid secure way, documents explained and my old LEAF trailered away.

Private plates posted to me once V5c for old car received. All in all a great experience. Happily recommend to others.

Aftersales call for a Tyre Pressure sensor giving random and intermittent warnings. Given good advice on how to rectify myself and that if it didn't work to call back and they would arrange an appointment to fix.

Cant ask for more.
