I really don't think they want to sell anything!
I wanted a full bathroom, fitted furniture, shower and bath, taps, eveything for a full bathroom right down to radiators and pipe, around £6-7k I was expecting,
Went into Consett store on a Friday and asked for a quote (my builder recommended using them) they said they would get back to me with a quote, they didn't. I called in the following week and asked for it, they said again they would email it, nothing. 2 days later I called back in, again they said they would email it.
I ended up going elsewhere, the day after I'd ordered and paid elsewhere a quote came in from them, far too late and for only a toilet and units nothing else!
*Edit to the porcelain tile issue, now a girl there is really going out of her way to help, so nice, changed rating from 1 to 3 star as couldnt be more helpful now, Thanks

Very helpful from the point of ordering to the delivery of the product. On day of delivery driver called to confirm drop off point.

Would recommend the company and their helpful staff.

Called in to Birtley branch today after door from kitchen into garage broke spoke to Shaun he went into the back storeroom and returned with a replacement pair of door handles fit perfect. Great service from JT Doves

Wrong order delivered then to compound matters they redeliver the same incorrect order. Other than the same delivery guy who realised this error, no phone. Alls back as promised and no replies to emails. Left with blocks I don’t need, an unfinished product and a complete sense of disappointment with this company!

I have just had my third set of dealings with the Berwick branch over the past year and couldn't have found it a more helpful and satisfying experience. Key to this, I must single out the quality of advice, service and personal attention I have received on each occasion from the Plumbing Assistant Manager, Lee Dudgeon.

I have not long moved up to Cramlington in the North East from Plymouth so I was looking for a local reputable DIY store. I have ordered twice now from the Ashington store and I have been really impressed with the friendly, professional service and the competitive prices . Tommy the delivery man was really friending and helpful and I would not hesitate to use this company again - many thanks !

We recently bought a new bathroom suite from the Hexham branch. We found all the staff in the branch to be extremely helpful. However we'd like to give extra praise to Maurice who helped us through the whole process with his invaluable advice and expertise. As an added bonus JT Doves prices are extremely competitive , delivery was quick and the whole experience pretty much flawless

Ordered from your Amazon site "Build and Plumb materials Online" on 24th Dec. Item has still not been delivered (4th Jan), despite chasing several times and providing an alternative delivery address.
Very poor experience. Would not order from here again.

I found Doves to be very well organised and helpful. Angus was easy to contact and was knowlegeable and able to help and advise me on all aspects. The bifold doors arrived exactly when they said they would. The delivery guy was friendly and to be honest you couldnt ask for more. Doves even took the time to call me and ask if everything had gone well. An excellent company in my opinion and the doors are of excellent quality. In short: 10 out of 10. Thanks, I‘ll use you again for sure.

I payed for a large order to be delivered on a Saturday. The order did not arrive. This has set me back with the job. I left a voice mail at JT dove Bishop Auckland but got no reply
Let down by this service .

Over the past year I have extended our home and with being a tradesman I shopped around for prices and quality of product. JT Dove came out best on both and also the staff were great and delivery’s were always prompt and soon after ordering.
I would highly recommend anyone to use JT Dove as I found prices very competitive and service/staff/delivery second to none

Shopped around online for some Quick-Step laminate flooring and J T Dove were competitive and offered free delivery. My order was delivered on time and the service was great from start to finish.

Wonderful service from the Bishop Auckland branch and Bethany in particular. Helpful, knowledgeable and went out of their way to accommodate me. Had everything I needed in stock at keen prices and delivered the next day. Highly recommended. My first port of call from now on!

Customer service is brilliant. I placed a couple of web orders and had to amend details for both. Web Order support team were great and dealt with the changes perfectly. Delivery guy was more than helpful, went way above and beyond to get my order of aggregates where I needed them. Fantastic ambassador for his employer! You might find cheaper, but you'll struggle to get better service!

A faultless service from the Darlington team. We recently ordered and had delivered (and a small excess returned) blocks for a driveway project. We went to the branch not really knowing how it all worked, but Colin, Dylan and Josh could not have been more helpful - really friendly and professional. Our school PTA approached our Doves Berwick branch to ask for such discounted/free items for our ELC garden area. Gareth was exceptional in responding to our enquiry promptly and gave some fantastic ideas about potential garden materials and items that could benefit the kids. Delivery was arranged the week after. Excellent customer service and we are extremely grateful to Gareth for his time and expertise.

Had occasion to visit the store in Berwick-upon-Tweed for some plywood. The staff were very helpful especially the chap who cut the wood to my exact size and put it in my car for me. The price was also much less than the nearby superstore. Excellent 5 star service.

Waited for limestone delivery, rang and asked where it was, I was told manager has rang you (Stockton on Tees branch) and you have agreed for it to be delivered tomorrow, bare faced lie, will never use these again, avoid time wasting liars
