Wonderful viewing experience

I recently viewed a property with Jukes Estate Agents and, although I didn’t end up making an offer (due to offering on another property) I felt compelled to leave a review because the experience was so positive.

The customer service was absolutely lovely from start to finish. Kirsty, who conducted the viewing, was especially wonderful – warm, kind, and genuinely helpful. She made me feel completely at ease and took the time to answer questions without any pressure. It was honestly the loveliest viewing I’ve ever experienced.

Thank you to the whole team at Jukes.

I’m very disappointed with the service…

I’m very disappointed with the service I received from Jukes Estate Agents. On their website, they clearly state that they take the deposit from the buyer, but in my case, they took it from me, the seller, which was both misleading and unacceptable.

They also sent random people to view the property—many of whom clearly had no serious intention of buying. This included property investors offering very low prices, even though I had specifically told them I did not want investors or time-wasters viewing the property. My instructions were ignored.

Communication was poor throughout. As the seller, I was rarely updated, and they never provided any proper information about who was coming to view the property. I was left completely in the dark.

Worst of all, it took them over 6 months to sell the property—and at a lower price than they initially told me it would sell for.

Overall, the experience was unprofessional and frustrating. I would not recommend Jukes to anyone looking for a trustworthy and transparent estate agent.

Misleading, manipulative tactics — avoid this agency

I strongly warn anyone thinking of using Jukes & Co Estate Agents. My experience with them was shocking and deeply stressful.

From the beginning, their communication was almost non-existent. My property listing was inaccurate and poorly presented. Without telling me, they removed my main photo and later claimed they "rotate pictures," something I never agreed to. It took them about a month — and several emails from me — to fix basic listing errors.

But the real nightmare began when I gave my formal notice to leave. Instead of accepting it properly, they started aggressively pushing a completely false "21-day post-contract" clause, insisting I was still tied in. This clause does not exist anywhere in the signed agreement. They even claimed it had been "checked by a solicitor," which in my opinion was a deliberate intimidation tactic to make me believe I had no choice but to stay.

They ignored clear contract terms (which state a 16-week period with 4 weeks' notice) and tried to force me to comply with this imaginary clause. The pressure and repeated misleading emails made me question my own sanity at times.

I was left with no choice but to open a formal complaint with the Property Ombudsman and escalate to their CEO. After investigation, it was confirmed in writing that they had breached the contract.

This behaviour was not just unprofessional — it was manipulative and completely unacceptable.

I would urge anyone considering Jukes & Co to read every line of your agreement carefully and to be ready for potential misrepresentation and intimidation tactics. Based on my experience, I absolutely do not recommend them and would suggest looking elsewhere.
