£3000 order and appalling end result

I made an order for £3000 worth of blinds for my new extension and my existing living room.
I had the motorised blinds fitted first and was very disappointed. There was a 2 inch gap on two side windows where we could see outside and anyone outside could see in. I expressed how I thought this fit was appalling and not at all reflective of a bespoke product and, initially I thought the blinds may have been fitted incorrectly. I was assured that someone would come out and take a look to see what could be done.
In the meantime the blinds in my extension were fitted. These were fine and I was satisfied.
Someone did come out to look at the motorised blinds and told me this 2 inch gap was normal. I expressed my dismay and could not fathom how a bespoke product could have a gap large enough to see through. The person I dealt with, Clare Gill has offered to 'quote' me for replacement blinds that will not have such a huge gap... quote me! she has no intention of making good the awful fit of the product they supplied.
She responded to my concerns saying "However, we will not be removing and refunding blinds that have been correctly supplied and fitted." They were not correctly supplied and fitted if they do not cover the window.
I will be taking this up with trading standards and possibly the small claims court.
I cannot believe this company is happy to fit products that are clearly not fit for purpose and to give such a shoddy, rude after sales service.
I wish I could post photos of the dreadful fit of the motorised blinds to illustrate how badly they fit.
Avoid this company. They do not delivery the superior product they advertise and they remove any reviews which indicate a customer is not 100% satisfied.

Very Poor Customer service, and delivered nothing

Negative Review (Yes, we did contact them beforehand, but they perceived it as a threat and cancelled our order).
Left us without Blinds to our Lantern and Windows in our Orangery this summer.
We ordered 30/4/25, totaling near £2000 in Business, we were given a 3–5-week timeframe for installation of window blinds. We paid £500 deposit. We had another order for lantern blinds that took 3 weeks to come back with a quote for near £3000. We had no further communications with Just Blinds until we chased up the initial order at 4 ½ weeks.
In summary, Just Blinds can’t be trusted to deliver what they quote, they can afford to lose £5000 of business, Just Blinds do not communicate any issues clearly and Just Blinds think nothing of wasting the valuable time of Customers.
They broke the terms of the contract by not keeping us informed of delays.
It was their fault that we had to keep asking. It was their fault that we had to resort to this negative feedback.
In detail, we called 30/5 and were told someone would call us back, never happened. Left Voicemails which were unanswered, left emails that were unanswered. When we directed an email to the managing director and underlined “Please let us know what is happening and when we can expect installation”, (The purpose of underlining was to emphasize what we wanted, since previous communications were ignored)
We also informed them that we would take the matter further with negative feedback of Just Blinds should they continue to ignore our communications and not provide a delivery and installation date on our order.
The intention of mentioning feedback was not to threaten but to give them a chance of rectification of their lack of information and tardiness on the order.
The reply email from the Managing Director informed us that our order was cancelled and deposit would be refunded, that my email was rude and threatening and they would not tolerate it. The deposit took 7 days to be refunded, despite them saying it was immediate, them saying it was 3-5 working days.
Nowhere was there an apology for their lack of communication, they seemed more concerned with nitpicking our communication.
While we are in our 60’s now and may not keep up to date with trends in politically correct communication, we were not rude or abusive, we simply stated facts and asked for further information.
This does not give a business the right to make such judgements on Customers and only reflects their poor business ethics. We feel justified in providing negative feedback and that we gave them plenty of opportunity to do the right thing. I am sure Just Blinds will take offense with what is written here, but their refusal to enter into any further communications left us no choice.

Claiming providing 3 year warranty

Claiming providing 3 year warranty, reported the case, and just came back to us telling us it was due to applying force to the cords, of course we have to apply the force to pull to open/close the blind, so nothing could be done with warranty.

Excellent from start to finish.

Thank you so much for our shutters; we absolutely love them! The whole process was effortless, thanks to your friendly staff. Although there was a slight wait for the shutters, which we were informed about at the time of ordering, this was perfectly fine. You kept us updated throughout the process with thoughtful touches, like an anchor charm on a tag with a message sent through the post. The quality of our blinds is excellent, it is certainly a purchase we do not regret. We now want to have the whole front done!

Excellent choice & service

Excellent choice, service, and fitting. Incredibly friendly and professional service.
4 blinds purchased, 2 Venetian, 1 perfect fit and 1 motorised roller blind. Frank from the Sales team was not pushy and offers good choice and does not rush you. Matthew from the Fitting team is respectful and efficient. The blinds all fit perfectly and look amazing. Will definitely order again for other windows.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, not happy with the product,
Weeks waiting for email reply’s, we bought shutters and they let so much light in I wish we hadn’t had them would be better of with curtains,
Definitely would not recommend

Absolutely disgusting customer service…

Absolutely disgusting customer service from the owner Claire Gill as she shouted at me down the phone and told me lies.. leading to her putting the phone down on me because I told her I’ve been in touch with trading standards and we are entitled to a 100% price reduction. Baring in mind she told me she’s friends with trading standards. The shutter is faulty and we’ve have constantly been delayed for a repair after phoning so many times.. so that’s why I got in touch with trading standards who are aware of this poor service from Claire and just blinds. Now we are still being delayed and having to take it further with trading standards! I wouldn’t waste your time and money with this appalling company!!! Photos will be uploaded and if anyone wants proof of this dispute please message me.
