App looks great but had issues with setup and then the songs weren’t available. Don’t mind teething troubles but the assistance I received via email very rather half hearted. When I basically said if this is too difficult then I might want a refund they just processed the refund. Makes sense from a business perspective, but not great customer service.

I am currently using justin guitar app the paid version, and when I come to the practice songs really only ever heard of a handful, some of the songs could do with changing for more well known songs, I find some of the videos provided are snippets of whats already on youtube so its not feeling like its a one to one learning programme, its ok but not the best.

Superb, structured and supportive learning process

As an older student who loves music but never learnt an instrument I thought I was over the hill. After hearing about Justin’s course I enrolled and happily bought a subscription 3 years back. Best thing I could have done. Love my daily practise. Knock out a few tunes, continually evolve and finese. Justin and the team continue to be the benchmark

Subscription Issue. I was thoroughly enjoying the app and lessons until some political comments started popping up which found inappropriate and not in alignment with guitar lessons. But as I purchased this through Apple, Musopia would not refund the $$ even though Fanny indicated it may be possible. Apple have way too much power in musopia is not any better because they've already received my money but they refuse to give it back even though I'm now getting content I did not want nor purchase.

I have used this for two years and is great. However recently the App takes a few minutes to load and the same for each song. Not my internet as nothing changed.Only way to get technical help is by email from Musopia who don’t reply.
Frustrated!

Musopia don't seem interested in helping solving my technical issue.

Musopia have advised what the problem is. Sky broadband causes users of this App numerous problems. App works perfectly on BT broadband.

Justin is a great guitar teacher. Richard as "Approved Teacher" is very rigid, give wrong answers at times and the community is awful, controlled by few goons/thugs that totally ruin the community, pretending to be teachers and that Richard seem to fully support. It totally ruin any and all kindness and creativity within the community.

Another "Approved Teacher", Lieven take others music, take it apart and rewrite, totally ruin it. What a disgrace!

Not sure about the other approved teachers, as I had no contact with them at all. Sad Justin have to deal with such a bunch, as Justin is truly a great person and very openminded and wants people to learn how to play the guitar and not just be a copycat learning other peoples songs.

I am writing because I need some help. I am getting frustrated. I have left five requests for help on your website over the last two weeks. I love what you are doing, and your site seems amazing if I was able to use it?. My problem is I can't get logged in. I paid $99 for a year subscription and the login will not accept my password. I recently subscribed to Justin's theory course for 1 year at $49. Several weeks later, a better deal was offered on a lifetime subscription at $99. I emailed and received a reply from Danica that she would take care of that, honor the $99 price and refund my $49. Just like that, done. Very responsive to issues, technical or otherwise is Justin Guitar. I really enjoy the course too, and happy I don't have to rush through it for a year. Thank you Danica.

Whenever I meet someone who is interested in picking up the guitar, I always recommend Justin. I've seen a lot of internet teachers, and there are many good ones out there, but I've never seen information and instruction laid out in as organized and relatable fashion as Justin's ... he really breaks it down and brings new students along in a way that, with a little effort on their part, will certainly bring success. Besides that, he's a good dude, too.

I'd heard about JustinGuitar from Google, Reddit etc as the go to guitar learning site.

Tried it myself and it really is, cannot speak highly enough of the site and Justin himself. Justin is a really genuine guy who comes across brilliantly as a nice person and so so helpful. He explains things in a simple enough way to understand but that you learn quickly and 'properly'.
I've been using his site on and off for a couple of years now, just brilliant for new guitarists

This site is a MASTERCLASS on how to design guitar education. Without a doubt the best online guitar lesson site I've found and I've tried a ton. Well done sir!

Some of the best spent internet money ever learning guitar. I just came of a blues live teaching class with Justin (recorded) and felt an urge to give him some credit here. It's just a great, positive and rewarding learning experience. I'm forever gratefull that this guy spend his time on us new kids on the block instead just gigging, making money and spending time with his family. Txs. dude 😀

This is an amazing website. The effort that Justin et al has put in for the benefits of budding guitarists is remarkable. The beginners' courses cover everything, step by step, and are so easy to follow and enjoyable. His idea of learning left handed so he can be empathetic to the beginner is ingenious. And most of this is all free: you feel he is almost embarrassed that he has to charge for things outside of his control. Although I have been strumming away for years without getting anywhere, his beginners courses (I have just started module 4) are so well-structured and useful that I am optimistic that I can improve.

I can only echo what so many say. Justin is a fantastic, dedicated teacher. A fantastic human being. Most of what he offers is free. And you could study all those free courses for years before you'd run out of new things to learn -- actually, you never could run out, as he's adding new material all the time.

Definitely a better guitar player because of Justin, and it's only been a few weeks. At the age of 68, too. Sign up. Explore. Put in the work. Make some contributions to help offset the cost of the site. This man is golden, and so is his site.

Justin continues to make his class easy to follow and always seems to know what I as an amateur am thinking. Justin teaching is fun and you continue to learn class after class. Thank you for all your help Justin !
