AVOID THE HALL

AVOID THE HALL!

Sadly, on more than one occasion, loud noise from the function room has spoiled performances in the adjacent hall.

One NT Live screening wasn't even supposed to be in the hall, but was moved from the (comfortable and soundproof) cinema without notice.

Astonishingly they say :

"... the noise from the restaurant does “bleed” into the hall. We have not taken steps to ensure that there are no [celebrations] booked in the restaurant when we have screenings in the Hall... "

(This attitude to my mind, shows an arrogant disdain for paying audiences, doesn't it?)
