Dennis came to my house the day after I wrote to Jydsk. He checked my roof and gave me an offer to fix it.

The worker did not clean the roof gutters at first and even after raising the 1st complaint. It was only after the 2nd complaint that the gutters were 'tried to be cleaned' but even then, the job done was extremely unprofessional and unsatisfactory. Further, the worker's attitude all through was extremely rude and unprofessional with the notes that he had left after doing the work. All this and details was already shared with you.

Earlier last month, one of the workers came by my home for algae treatment of the roof. As per the contract, he was also supposed to clean the roof gutters as well. He apparently suggested that I call up the customer care a few weeks later and have the gutters cleaned instead of now as the dead algae would eventually fall into the gutters again. However, after the work was done for the day, I received the email stating that the treatment was completed, it also mentioned that the gutters were also cleaned, which actually was not.

I complained about this to the customer care where they clearly said that the gutters were supposed to be cleaned before spraying on the roof. The customer care also said they would contact the concerned person and have the gutters cleaned.

The same person who had come for spraying on the roof came the next day (as per my wife who happened to be home at the time). Later in the evening, on coming back from work, I took a look if the gutters were cleaned only to find it was not cleaned at all! Further, I found a note left by the worker under the front doormat and what was written in that was not only very unprofessional but extremely rude. If the gutter could not be cleaned because he felt the space between the gutter and the tiles was small, I believe Jydsk Tagteknik as such a well established professional company should have the necessary tools to handle the different types of gutters and opening spaces different houses may have. Also, if something cannot be done, what was written in the note was the way to convey the message.

Having raised another complaint the same person comes again the 3rd day and finally does some cleaning which too was done unsatisfactorily. Ultimately, I myself had to take a spoon and thoroughly clean the gutter of which each gutter took hardly 10 minutes. But, if I have to go through all this trouble why pay for the service? This sort of work ethic and behavior I least expected from such a reputed company like Jydsk Tagteknik.

About the algae treatment itself, the treatment worked satisfactorily well for the first session. I am sure further session will completely get rid of the the algae, but with my personal experience the next sessions would definitely be not with the same company.

I had a really good experience with the services of JYDSK Tagteknik. The comunication (in English) was friendly and helpful, the waiting time for appointment short enough to get the service just in time, the technician spends time to every important spots and also explains everything needed. The report came the next day.
