I have been a customer of Kembery Antique Clocks for nearly 30 years. Over three decades, and in all my dealings with them, I have found the firm to be consistently straightforward, reliable, and friendly. The range of timepieces it offers is remarkable (and fascinating as it maps 300 years and more of domestic and personal timekeeping). Its prices are very fair and compare more than well with other specialist firms. I bought my first clock from them in the early 1990s, and have just bought my fourth! They have all proved to be very good investments but, much more important than that, they have each provided pleasure and delight – they are antiques that, in their movement and sound, live in a way that most other antiques do not.

But Kembery Antique Clocks does more than sell excellent clocks and watches, it also provides post-sale care and maintenance. This ensures peace of mind and also brings Paul or his son Daniel back to talk entertainingly with wide-ranging knowledge about their subject. I have learnt much from them. I gather that they have recently been maintaining the clocks in Number 1, Royal Crescent Museum, and the Herschel Museum, both in Bath. This does not surprise me at all.

I have interacted with Paul Kembery, and more recently Daniel also, for many years. During that time, I have purchased a superb antique wall clock and, somewhat more recently, an antique grandfather clock. Both clocks continue to provide much pleasure on a daily basis. In much more recent months, I therefore had no hesitation whatsoever in seeking Paul's assistance in performing a full and careful refurbishment of another family-owned antique grandfather clock and its subsequent installation at my elder daughter's home. That project has also now been completed very successfully.
