Hi Deirdre. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. It is very much appreciated.
Orders received before lunchtime are generally shipped the same day! Orders received later in the aftenoon or evening will ship the next day.
So, we get everything shipped within 24 hours and that usually guarantees fast delivery within Ireland & the UK (1-2 days) and Europe (3-5 days) ... all working days obviously.... most postal services and couriers do not work on the weekends. Thanks again from team at kellykettle.com

Hi Richard, I am sorry to learn about the issue you have with your kettle.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find any previous correspondence here from you, but I was only randomly searching through emails using your Name & Surname.
How and when did you contact us before now? Any help you can provide on this would be appreciated.

You are correct in stating that technically, our Warranty Service does not cover 'Misuse'.
E.g. if a kettle is used dry or allowed to boil dry by accident, then it is not covered under warranty.

However, we do appreciate that a Kettle can be boiled dry by accident. It has happened before and it will certainly happen again! In all instances like this, we offer customers the opportunity to purchase a replacement body part at our Cost price + the shipping. So it is replaced at cost. The fire-base would be fine albeit blackened from use so there is no need to replace that piece.

If you had contacted us directly prior to this, then this should have been offered to you.
If you have not contacted us directly before now, then please do so at your earliest convenience.
We are a very small team so we can act fast to get any small issues resolved ;-)

Hi David,
Thanks for your recent purchase of one of our products. We are based in Ireland, home of the Kelly Kettle. 'Trustpilot' is linked to us here so that's how I picked up the Review.
I understand that you purchased from our colleagues in Australia www.kellykettle.com.au and that the order shipped out promptly to an address in New Zealand. It appears however that the parcel got damaged in Transit and that you were unable to contact David ('our' David down under!) via email for some reason. It appears that there is/was indeed some issue with emails there and (our) David has his I.T. people looking into it at the moment.
Thankfully the phones look to be working fine as I tried it just now myself and I was able to leave a voicemail when the phone rang out (after hours).
It sounds like you guys are finally in contact so hopefully you will get sorted out within the next couple of days. David (our!) is a great guy to deal with so you are in good hands.
Sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused and I hope that you get brewing up shortly ;-)
