I am doing a massive 3,000 sq home project. I've bought numerous lights from many companies. This company have been an absolute delight so far to deal with. My lights get wonderful comments.

Really wished I’d done more research before I purchased a light from this company. I ordered a light which my electrician said was too heavy for my ceiling. The light arrived in a very flimsy box which I was surprised about given the weight, no double insulation. On the website it says weight 4.45kg but in fact the weight was almost double that at 8.2kg, I would’ve have purchased having seen the weight. I called to request refund policy was told to return in original packaging at my own expense. I followed instructions and called customer service to check that I could write FRAGILE on the outer box I was told I could. I had proof of the date and time of that call. I paid nearly £40 to return and added extra tape to the box as it had arrived to me damaged. Received email from KES not refunding because they said there was a mark on the ceiling rose and the box had writing on it. Honestly outrageous customer service, rude, arrogant a complete disregard for the customer I’m actually so upset as it wasn’t a cheap light. I haven’t experienced such poor customer service before. Was told I had to pay a courier to collect it from them to return to me. I had photographic proof of the damaged box sent to me and proof of the original packaging I used to return at a cost of £40 but they don’t want to know. Please save yourselves the stress of ordering from this company and risk being out of pocket.

I purchased a Burford 3 light outdoor lamp post which comes in kit form and requires assembly. It arrived on time but had no assembly instructions and despite 2 phone calls and 4 emails to customer services all I got back repeatedly were installation instructions for a completely different product.
To say they are incompetent is an overstatement of their abilities!

Item received as described, installed with no issues. Happy with service, able to talk to someone when needed.

Great product & great service re delivery. Unfortunately one item was damaged….. the service then went from great to fantastic. One email with relevant pictures & no drama , no questions just an Immediate response & the replacement was on my doorstep within 24hrs . This is how all companies used to operate unfortunately that is not now the case, however these guys absolutely know what customer service is all about. I wish them continued success & will use them for my future projects. Thanks again.

I ordered outdoor lights from KES in an 'antique brass' finish. The lights arrived and were a very golden modern brass finish and really tacky quality. I emailed KES with info re the quality and colour and to ask to return them and was sent an address to return them to at my own cost. I emailed 3 more times re the return costs saying that I felt given the colour discrepancy I didn't feel like I should cover the return costs (would have kept them if antique brass and nice quality!) and no response. Finally, after2 weeks, I have arranged my own return at my own cost so I don't fall foul of their strict returns policy.

From my experience - poor quality lights, not as described and disappointing customer service.

Fantastic experience with Kes lighting. Purchased a beautiful ceiling light at a great price and the quality is fab. Delivery was timely and customer service was second to none as I had mistakenly ordered the wrong colour on line and with one phone call and it was sorted.I will definitley use Kes again.
