Wow, where to begin!

I recently bought my first home and found my boiler to be tripping out all the electrics in the property. Desperate to find an engineer I gave Google a quick search for a local engineer and found Kevin Slessor, probably the best thing that’s come out of Google!

I got a phone call from the lovely Tracey an hour after sending a message of help and the very next morning two fantastic guys came to check on my boiler to see what they could do! Unfortunately it was an irreparable job so a new boiler was needed! Everything was explained properly to me so I got a full understanding. An hour or so after the guys left, I got a phone call from Kevin himself for a plan of action moving forward!

He went on to reshuffle his workload so that he could get my boiler replaced and fitted asap, on top of that he also put me in touch with a recommended electrician who found that the house’s electrics were unsafe and could cause some serious injury if left. Another great guy who again went out of his way to help fix these issues.

Less than a week later I now have a home I can live in that is safe. I’d I didn’t know the guys had been in to rip the old boiler out and put the new one in, I wouldn’t have even known they were in my house. They were all dressed immaculately and cleaned up any mess they made.

Without sounding dramatic, if these issues hadn’t been picked up and fixed as quickly, I dread to think what could have happened!

Cannot thank the team (all of them) enough! Will be going back for help when I come to redo my bathroom!

The guys were in as quick as a flash, tidy, professional and good natured even though it wasn’t an easy job. Fab advice given (and taken). A 40 year old system replaced, upgraded gas pipe work through the house, new gas combi boiler and system installed, old system, pipe work and water tanks fully removed from site. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and highly recommend.

After being left in the lurch with no hot water for a month, by a previous plumber, Kevins team agreed to come in and repair damaged caused by previous plumber great all round professional service well done !!

I have been using Kev for a number of years now, and always find him and his team friendly and easy to deal with and more importantly they are prompt and always come when they say they will.

We had quite a large job, removing an old outside kero boiler, and fitting a new electric boiler and hot water tank in a difficult location.
Kevin and Tracey and Joe are highly professional and struck me as being cheerful, happy at their work, with a can do attitude. They did an excellent job, and are hard workers. Price seemed to be what it should be.
I have recommended Kevin and his employees to others and will phone them for future plumbing needs.

Changed to a new boiler and changed location I developed a leak after installation and pressure required topping up weekly to start with plumber stated he would fix this at first service

service done and checked leaking pipe said he would come back with the part to fix which he did within a few days
On receiving my bill not only was I charged for service but also over £300 to fix leak which had happened at time of installation hence pressure going down I wasn’t informed I would be recharged for this so big shock at the price I have had nothing but blame from slesser plumbers put on me saying wasn’t up to him to repair this I should have said I had insurance cover already to fix plumbing work but had I known or told I’d be charged I would have got the company I have cover for to fix leak but as it leaked from day one of installing I just took it would be repaired boy was I wrong so No I would not recommend this plumber

Kev replied to my request for a boiler service quickly and suggested a time for the very next day. He was quick and efficient, but took the time to explain what he was doing. He also put in our central heating in 2 years ago, in our 'quirky' i.e. old granite cottage with a 70s extension where other heating installers refused due to the complexity. He and his team did that in 3 days taking us from a cold, storage heater dependent house to a cosy warm home. I highly recommend him and his team.

I shopped around for quotes for my new boiler. Kev wasn't the cheapest but he wasn't the most expensive.
I chose this company because Kevs quote was the most detailed, highlighting everything he needed to do to complete the job. So you could see all you were getting for the price. Some companies all I got was a peace of headed paper with a price on it.
Tracey in the office is very polite, efficient and no question is stupid or any trouble.
The service I received from the beginning right to the completion of the job was excellent. Very clean and tidy workers too and kept me informed of the job as I was at work.

Very quick, friendly and knowledgeable service. We have an old indoor boiler removed and an outdoor boiler fitted. All very tidy and working great.

I was having a problem with my boiler and it kept switching off and there was drips of water coming out of it.
Kevin came in and sorted it straight away and we have not had any trouble since

Very professional and accommodating. I love the automated reminders as means I can’t forget about the landlord gas certs!

Kev and Joe managed to fit us in at very short notice after a bit of a boiler disaster and got us sorted much more quickly than I had dared to hope. Joe even came out to us after the end of the day to switch the boiler on as it was going to be cold that night and he didn't want us freezing! Both guys were very friendly and helpful, as was the lovely Tracey who dealt with my slightly panicked phone calls!

The work was done quickly and tidily. Very much recommended
