Key Connect Media is not a legitimate company. it is operated by known con man Kurt Stephenson, who has ripped off countless people. He is currently using the alias William Pacheco, which is the name of Kurt Stephenson's son. Key Connect Media is also using a fraudulent address, that is not actually its location.
Its important to note the name of this operation is Key Connect Media (not keyconnectmedia as written here).
Anyways I encountered Key Connect Media after posting that I was looking for marketing services for my dentist office on LinkedIn. I was contacted by someone named Kurt Stepehenson who claimed to be a marketing expert, and a pay-per click genius. He provided his website which looked legitimate and it turned out the location was near my cousin's home in Wyoming. The website says "coffee on us" so I was looking forward to meeting them in person. Kurt demanded a deposit upfront, which is not usual but he said my satisfaction was guaranteed.
Kurt Stephenson then was very slow to actually produce any work. When I suggested meeting in person when I would be in Wyoming to visit family, Kurt became very scared. I went back to revisit his website, I googled the address listed on his website in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and it turns out that is the address of the mayor's office in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
I found it very odd that this marketing company would be working out of the Mayor's office, and when I asked Kurt Stephenson about this he became very scared.
So just to be safe I contacted the mayors office in Cheyenne, Wyoming end they had never heard of Key Connect Media. I then contacted the state of Wyoming, and there was no such a business anywhere in the state. It turns out there's no such a business anywhere in America.
Key Connect Media now appeared to be nothing more than a set-up designed for Kurt Stephenson to defraud people. I then looked into Kurt Stephenson and found out that he is a lifelong con artist who has defrauded countless people.
When I confronted Kurt Stephenson about defrauding me, he went into hiding. Apparently this is also what he does to other victims.
I did not give up and eventually tracked him down. He was now using the alias 'William Pacheco' on LinkedIn.
Kurt Stephenson refused to return my deposit despite the fact that he had been exposed as a fraud. He said instead of returning my money he would use it and would make me $1000 to $3000 every week and he would use his own money to return to repay me if he ever lost money or was stuck in bad positions.
It turns out Kurt Stephenson is even worse at investing than he is at honesty. He either lost (or possibly stole) all the money and when it came time to repay me he just disappeared again.
The website has also been changed with a new fictitious address, this time with no city listed. But still offering to meet for coffee at their non-existent location.
Please be very cautious if you ever encounter Kurt Stevenson or William Pacheco or whatever fake name he is using now. He has made an entire life of defrauding people
Scammed by Kurt Stephenson. I had forced myself to forget the memory of being scammed by Kurt Stephenson the self-proclaimed 'pay per click' expert now living in Villecheneve, France.
I contacted Key Connect Media for marketing services. Kurt Stephenson then contacted me, claiming he would earn $1000-$3000 every week and manipulated me into believing him. he also promised to use his own funds to return any money that he lost or if he was stuck in bad positions. All of this turned out to be a lie. Kurt was utterly incompetent at every single thing. At turn he was wrong. I was going to let it go but then today on LinkedIn I saw someone using the alias William Pacheco making the exact same claims.
Also, the website for kurt's business claims it is located in the Mayors office in Cheyenne, Wyoming. That turns out to be false. Of course Kurt had nothing to say, just a cringey, scammer.
I contacted this Key Connect Media which claims to be a digital marketing and advertising company. After filling out the form on their website I was contacted by an individual named Kurt Stephenson over the phone. He didn’t provide me answers to any to any of the questions I was asking about what he would actually do. However he insisted that he help manage my finances. He told me that he would make me $1000-$3000 per week and that he would use his own funds to repay me if he ever lost money or was stuck in bad positions. Unfortunately all Kurt ever did was lose money and then when I asked him to repay me he literally disappeared. I kept persisting and trying to track him down but when I finally did, he hacked into my social media accounts. he posted a video on my YouTube in which he was pretending to be me, saying very disparaging things about vulnerable groups, in an effort to blackmail me. what’s even worse is he then accused me of blackmailing him to police. I’ve since looked online and read about Kurt Stephenson and there are many victims of Kurt Stephenson and this is the identical scheme he used to exploit many other unsuspecting people. I don’t know if this is even a real company but I would suggest you avoid this and hopefully someone can learn from my lessons
