In reading the THREE good reviews, im a bit suprised which is why I am giving a 3*
I Have always had a good service for years with key cutting.
However on this occasion I was not spoken to with respect from Mark.
They didnt hv in stock a larger key hole cover for a street door, and a door security chain. He had order it in for me.
(which was not a problem )
Got told should be here end of week latest by monday / tuesday following week.
I returned to collect but had'nt had the order in.
Then got given apprx time to come back.
Still no delivery.
This carried on for 5 weeks.
Eventually after 5 weeks the order had arrived .
But Mark hadn't bothered to tell me previous times he can't get a security chain.
( had I been informed I would of looked elswhere. 'causing a delay in completing my door for necessary accessories.
key hole plate had no screw holes fixtures 'only stick on'
I queried it, if so to come back.
2 weeks later I return with one plate which had fallen off the inside of my door (i knew it )
"leaving a sticky mark on my newly painted door "
I asked Mark if he had asked the suppliers for screw plates? yes,he had asked for either. ( 🙄 thats no good because they have only supplied you with the sticky ones which i didnt want, "Ideally he should of specified what was needed)
He said he will order another one with screw fixtures.
AND also asked my contact number to call me as soon as they arrive.
2 week goes past no call.
Today 5th August I popped in at 1.30 pm to find out if my order has arrived.
Mark was sat on the chair doing nothing.
comes over immediately to the counter with three packets for me to pick ( one was a small plate which we had established 7 weeks ago I can't have anyway.)🙄
I asked why he didnt call me.
He said, they hv just arrived.
When was that I asked?
'M'... about an hour and a half ago.
I replied.
Thats a while ago, it wd of taken just10 sconds to make a quick call, I don't like to give my number out unless you needed to call me.
he said I'm trying my best to help you .
I asked so why not call me then as promises you are saying you are doing your best you were just sitting on the chair doing nothing.
Then He conveniently replied, Iam on my lunch .( thats an excuse )
I replied, so why then are you now serving me if you say you are on lunch.?
(I feel hes lied to get let of the hook ) (typical excuses I hear all the time. )
I said what about ALL those times for 5 weeks I had to stop of & find parking in my time during my working time in my breaks to run & check up if order has arrived.
I said, i dont like your attitute I woun't have them now.
He immediately went to the til to refund me for the initial sticky plates I bought 7 weeks ago AND said, thats £3 back.
I replied NO they were not £3 . They were £11
😏 so not only did he speak & treat me like a mug sending me on a wild goose chace & then tried to short change me with £3 (or seems he dont know the price of product he sold me.
at least check first before refunding correct money 😯
I dont like to make complaints but this was unprofessional & not called for. Had It been a bloke, would he of spoken to him in the same way ?🤔
Irrespective if he was on lunch , but the fact he was sat on a chair doing nothing & not even NO food in sight that he couldn't manage to find 10 seconds to call me before lunch break
Seeing I had been waiting patiently for Seven weeks to then experience a poor & cheeky rude customer service.
I knew I should of trusted my instinct & canceled order all together after being messed about return many times for a simple key hole plate.
& previous times I have seen him engrosed on his mobile no acknowkedge of me and another customer standing by the counter waiting to be served, I had to alert his attention that people are waiting to be served
( I hardly call that good customer service )
