We stopped at the KFC near Springfield KY, it took 45 minutes to get four 12 nugget dinners, and then half of the nuggets were overcooked, Terrible

Food was cold, overcooked, bone dry, and stringy. Almost inedible. In fact, my Dogs got more of it than I ate. I generally prefer 'Lee's Chicken' and this visit only reinforced that belief. KFC has fallen so far they're just not worth the money they charge. I will never order from them again. And this wasn't a delivery, this was picked up from the store. Sorry KFC Pennfield, you'll never get my business again.

I placed an order on Sunday evening at 5:45 PM for dinner. We opted for takeout because it was quick, and we were in a rush and very hungry. While we don’t often indulge in takeout, we believe in enjoying fresh, well-cooked meals when we do.

We ordered the 8-piece mixed meal, coleslaw, and biscuits. Sadly, the chicken was severely overcooked; we chose the original, not crispy. The biscuits were so dry that they resembled hockey pucks! We didn’t call to voice our concerns because we simply didn’t have time to return, considering it’s a 14-mile trip to the KFC.

My advice to fellow customers is to inspect your food before leaving the store. I intend to do this from now on, even if it means holding up the line. The prices are outrageously high, and it’s disappointing that the staff and management don’t prioritize proper customer care. It’s hard to believe they would consider serving this food to their own friends or family. Management, please take action and invest in better staff training and quality control!

For the first time in years, we decided we didn’t wanna cook and I ordered from Grubhub some Kentucky Fried chicken I remember years ago it was tasty and spicy and crisp. This was by far the worst takeout meal I’ve ever had in the last two years it was greasy the chicken was overcooked. French fries were overcooked nuggets were undercooked, and the sides were ridiculously small for the 30 some dollars it cost to purchase this meal I could’ve easily put a fabulous chicken dinner on the table. I won’t be buying your food again quality has gone down so poorly and years past it was decent now it is horrible.

I’m honestly so disappointed. This was supposed to be a simple fried chicken meal, but what I got looked completely overcooked and poorly handled. The chicken was dry, tough, and way too dark—like it had been sitting under heat way too long or fried in old grease. The texture was off, and parts of it didn’t even look appetizing enough to eat.

On top of that, the presentation was careless. Pieces looked thrown together, and it definitely didn’t feel fresh. When you’re paying for food, you expect at least basic quality and care, and this just missed the mark completely.

I won’t be coming back after this experience.

I went to the KFC by me in Hudson Florida or you may call it Bayonet Point on US 19 the store numbers g133055 I haven't been for a while prices are getting so high but I went and ordered the 12 piece original chicken with the three sides and when I got home my chicken was very well over cooked I was extremely disappointed that I was expecting a good experience with Kentucky Fried Chicken and I didn't get it I would request a refund back on my money but I can't even read my receipt to get a phone number so I don't know if they didn't change the grease enough or they overcooked it or what but it was pretty well overdone very very disappointed my name is Mary Dumas Pyritz

Well, the leave a review box says it all. It starts off with "what went wrong this time" hmm... Key word, thus time. Husband brought home the not famous mashed potatoe bowls. They used to actually be famously delicious. Definitely not anymore. Every time we eat there, it gets more disappointing. Not wasting a ton of money at another KFC again. Done. Will just go to McDonald's, where you expect overpriced crappy food. Bowls were full of corn, a small amount of potatoes and a sprinkle of gravy & cheese. The five tiny overcooked pieces of chicken tasted like the smell of dirty feet😡Disgusting!! Couldn't get past the smell. Corporate most definitely does not care. If the kfc's are losing business, seriously it's no wonder... They've completely lost another customer from any kfc. Should've read all the reviews before going...

The chicken was flavorless, some pieces overcooked and it just wasn't worth the 8 piece for $10 price. Lees Famous Recipe is leaps and bounds better!! That was my last trip to KFC. I had stopped going 15 years ago and now I know why. A full refund should be expedited. It was better in the past.

I have visited kFC in mold a few times and there is always something missing from your order when you get home. On more than one occasion the popcorn chicken was missing and tonight it was a piece of original chicken short out of our party bucket which we tried to check in store and the girl was short with us and said it’s all there and when we got home I can confirm it was again short.
Chicken was overcooked with very dark skin.
It’s not cheap prices have gone up and staff are not checking orders correctly. While waiting there was 3 people who came back into store with orders that were wrong or short.
I think with in store orders app orders plus delivery orders staff struggle.
Just very disappointing

I had a terrible experience at KFC. The chicken was overcooked and burned, making it almost inedible. On top of that, it didn’t seem properly cleaned, which was very unappetizing. The quality was far below expectations, and the meal felt like a complete waste of money. Definitely not returning!

Love the bbq sauce. Chicken was cold and overcooked. Greasy too. Took 1 bite and threw the rest away. Terrible!

Purchased a bucket of chicken meal from airport chch unfortunately, the chicken seemed a bit old and overcooked, as if it had been sitting out for a while. Additionally, the potatoes and gravy had some powder settled at the bottom of the container and weren't mixed properly. Luckily, I was able to receive a full refund, thank you !!!!! so I was pleased !!!!!we only ended up eating the chips and buns. It's disappointing that ordering chicken through Uber Eats can be hit or miss. Please make it a better experence for us -

Received 2 only of the 4 burgers which were part of the order, the popcorn chicken pieces were dry and most didn't contain any chicken, the chicken on the crispy burgers had dry sections and overcooked or reheated. It's sad when staff could not count to four.

Horrible. Popcorn chicken bowl used to be so full of tiny crispy chicken bites: cheese: corn: just a touch of gravy over mashed potatoes. Now you get a bowl half full with 3 globby gooey overcooked rubber pieces of chicken: maybe a teaspoon of corn a pinch of cheese: swimming in gravy so watery it looks like soup! They have really gone downhill! Very disappointing. Won't waste our money here again. Ever!

Update: I received a refund about a week later.

I went to KFC at 373 E. Fordham Road in the Bronx, NY. I ordered an eight-piece (chicken only). Before, I left the store, I checked the order because in a previous visit I received a few pieces of chicken that was dried out, but when I got home I was too tired to return. I ended up throwing out the dried out pieces. I didn't want that to happen again so I checked the order before I left the store, and again the chicken was dried out or overcooked. I asked if I could change the order and wait for new chicken be cooked. The manager said "no, the order I had was just cooked". I requested my money back. The manager (with an attitude) acted as if he was returning my money to my card, but he didn't. When, I asked for a receipt. I was told no. I called my bank to see if the money was returned to my card, the bank representative stated that she only saw the debit purchase, but not the return. KFC stole my money and I want my money back. I will never step foot in that raggedy KFC again, and I will call the Department of Health because the store was FILTHY!

Its been 3 years since I ordered KFC and still terrible.
Ordered original they gave me crispy. it was so overcooked the skin was like a plastic coating and the chicken like leather. I took back to store and they replaced the meal. That chicken was cooked better but like 3 years ago it was laced with little bits of bone. The legs were only slightly bigger than what you would get with an order of chicken wings. Several of the pieces so small not worth even trying to eat. I don't know how they stay in business.

We were not acknowledged when we came in the store, it took them forever to get to the counter. The store smelled and the order was wrong. The chicken was overcooked. This is the second time in recent months it has been unpleasant. They weren’t busy and there were 4 people behind counter.

I haven’t tried kfc in Canada for many years. I go a lot in Thailand and it is the best. I went to the Keswick, Ont. Location the other day figuring since it’s a new loacation perhaps the food has improved. I ordered a 10 piece with fries and gravy. The only thing good was the gravy. The fries were cold and the chicken was so overcooked it was almost black. Never again.

I thought that KFC would sell better chicken than the local unbranded shops. I was wrong, I was also wrong to put my faith in this shop being any better than them. The chicken was overcooked, flavourless and looked like it came from a chicken suffering from thalidomide. I cannot understand how this place gets busy, there must be a famine in Colindale, it's the only reason I would ever patronise these premises again. Trading Standards should prosecute them simply on the grounds that they class themselves as a restaurant. 1 star because there are no minuses.
