Only had it a trial and used it twice, one for monkey world and one for a zoo. Would definitely recommend, saved us money from usual standard prices which can be very expensive.

Unusable tickets, goalpost shifting, and refusing statutory refunds

I purchased digital tickets for Gulliver’s Land through Kids Pass (£51 + £1 trial fee), but upon arrival on 31st July, the vouchers failed at the gate. With no live customer support available, we were forced to pay out of pocket directly to the venue so our family day out wasn't ruined.

When I requested a refund, Kids Pass gave a non-stop runaround:
1. They initially misread their own terms, claiming my visit date was an excluded date in August (even though it was July).
2. After admitting their mistake, they refused to issue a refund unless I provided third-party transaction proof that replacement tickets were bought, stating: "Without this information... we are unable to authorise a refund at this stage."
3. After I sent them the exact proof of payment to Gulliver's Land, they backtracked completely, claiming providing proof was "not an exact condition" and that I now have to wait indefinitely while they investigate internally with Gullivers Land.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital vouchers must be fit for purpose, and internal supplier delays do not override a consumer's statutory right to a refund for non-performance.

Kids Pass took my money, supplied non-working codes, shifted the goalposts, and refused a basic refund. I have now initiated a formal Debit Card Chargeback with my bank and reported them to Trading Standards. Avoid.

*UPDATE TO THEIR RESPONSE - 10TH AUGUST *

Kids Pass’s response is disingenuous and shifts the blame.

1. The delay was caused by them: They initially refused to process my request because their support team misread my visit date, falsely claiming I visited on an excluded date in August when my visit was actually 31st July.

2. Goalpost shifting: They explicitly told me in writing: "Without this information [proof of replacement tickets]... we are unable to authorise a refund at this stage." Yet, after I sent them the official replacement ticket transaction showing £71 paid directly to Gulliver's Land, they backtracked and claimed providing proof was "not an exact condition" for a refund.

3. Breach of CRA 2015: It has now been 10 days since the visit. Under UK Consumer Law, my contract is with Kids Pass, not Gullivers Land so why my complaint and refund sits with Gullivers Land is nonsensical. Holding consumer refunds indefinitely while waiting on an internal vendor investigation, despite objective proof that replacement tickets had to be bought is completely unacceptable.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear that you remain dissatisfied with how your refund request has been handled.

When you first contacted us, we requested additional information that was required for us to open and investigate a refund case. Unfortunately, this information was not initially provided, which meant we were unable to progress the case at that stage.

Once we received the requested information, we promptly passed the matter to Gulliver’s Land for review. As issues with tickets not working at the venue are uncommon, we need confirmation from Gulliver’s Land regarding what occurred with the tickets before we can proceed with the refund request.

Your complaint and refund request are currently with Gulliver’s Land, and we are awaiting their response. As soon as we receive confirmation from them, we will be able to review the case further and advise you of the next steps.

We appreciate your patience while the matter is being investigated and will continue to assist you through our Customer Service Team.

Kind regards,
The Kids Pass Team

Out of Date Offer Code.

Paid £1.00 for 30 days membership in order to save £4.40 on tickets to take my grandchildren to Hollywood Bowl. The offer code provided by their App had expired 10 days previously. I've therefore paid £1.00 for nothing. It's unacceptable to advertise offers that don't exist.

Update in response to the Kids Pass reply to my review. The expiry date is not available to view before signing up. The website clearly advertises 10% off of Hollywood Bowl though. If this is no longer the case, as my experience bears out, this is false advertising.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.

We have reviewed the ticket prices across all available dates and can confirm that Kids Pass provides a saving for each date.

As ticket prices can vary depending on the date and ticket type selected, we would recommend checking that you are comparing the same ticket type and visit date when reviewing the prices.

We’d be more than happy to look into the specific tickets and prices you have compared and clarify the saving available. Please contact our Customer Service Team at hello@kidspass.co.uk with the details, and a member of the team will be happy to help.
